Idk, doesn't really seems like how KH does business. When people need to be restored they just do, the series never spent time with intermediate passages.
About the wrap up... I don't think it would. Because Even is not a good person. He's a manipulative, sadistic man who brought life onto puppets only to abandon them and smiling while watching them suffer. And he betrayed his own master, too, helping relegating him into a dark abyss AND kept experimenting on innocents and making Radiant Garden fall to the Heartless all for the sake of the research. And if nothing new about him comes up, Ienzo has similar faults.
None of the two actually did anything to make amend, and so I'd actually be pretty pissed if in KH III they are suddenly good and benevolent people and all is forgiven. There was no redemption for them.
I disagree a little there, seeing how everything since BBS is Sora trying to find a way to save everyone and how Sora and Roxas had to merge again. It would feel cheap in my opinion if Roxas could just materialize a body after releasing his heart from Sora - or anything like that. There has to be something else involved, even if it's just some magic, or else it goes right against what happened in KH2 with Roxas and Naminé.
With wrap up, I don't necessarily mean that they are to be good people in the end (for all we know, Even can still be a creepy dude, but he probably rather likes his job and would try to keep it), but it would just finish their story. I don't feel like their story is finished with a "Well he's unstable" and Ienzo's short appearance.
Though I understand where you come from with Even, I don't really see where Ienzo seems to be such a bad guy? If anything, I felt his short scene in DDD and his interactions with Lea showed that Ienzo might not be a crazy dude, certainly quickly excitable by his theories and probably science in general, but not generally malevolent (even though the Ansem reports might hint at that but that excursion is a little too much for this topic!). I just personally would like to see whether they pick up their old work in Radiant Garden, whether Dilan and Aeleus take up guard duty again, whether Ansem rules again (maybe together with the restoration committee) and whether Even and Ienzo continue new kind of research that is benefiting the world under Ansem the Wise.
The auditory prompt from Goofy during the Rock Titan boss battle is giving me war flashbacks from the Hydra fight in KH2. I hope his warning isn't that repetitive in the final game.
