I Posted this on the GameFAQs Message Board three days ago, but most people there have dismissed or otherwise seen my beliefs as nonsense, so I've created an Account on this Message Board to take a shot at convincing people of my beliefs here.
I'll quote from my Posts on the GameFAQs MessageBoard.
~~~
The Master of Masters/the Master is Yozora.
And his goal is to turn all of the realms of Sora's worldline, and perhaps all of the realms of all worldlines, and maybe Kingdom Hearts itself, into everlasting dreams, likely out of hate and anger not about *his* impending vanishing and death. It's likely out of hate and anger that *the girl who is the Nameless Star in The Final World* died and vanished.
Yozora likely created the first Keyblades so he could die and vanish himself and be with her.
And Yozora doesn't fear *his* impending death and vanishing. *He fears being unable to love and protect and cherish and save the Nameless Star from her death and vanishing.* Yozora vanishes at the beginning of KINGDOM HEARTS: CHI: BACK COVER. He's already gone.
His goal is, since he believes that he can't restore the Nameless Star unto reality, to turn all existence into an everlasting dream and send the Nameless Star *there,* thus loving and cherishing and protecting and saving her.
Think about it.
When we first meet the Master of Masters, he's introduced as the creator of the Dream Eaters.
When we first see the character with the name Yozora, it's in a Video Game - a fantasy and science fiction fictional story - in a world where toys - who are supposed to be empty puppets and empty things like Xion was supposed to be - have hearts. Yet even *toys* are treating Yozora as a toy and a fantasy.
Rex keeps talking about needing to defeat Bahamut with Yozora, and a number of you know Bahamut's role in FINAL FANTASY X - why can't I get the Spoiler Tags working? Blarg.
Yozora is the ultimate fantasy, the final fantasy, the everlasting dream, and the ultimate dream.
In KINGDOM HEARTS III: RE MIND Yozora transforms The Final World itself, that there's supposedly 'nothing else beyond' into a fractured mirror of a fragmented reflection of Sora's Station of Awakening.
In RE MIND's ultimate super Boss battle with Yozora, he can steal Sora's Keyblade, which means Yozora is a Keyblade wielder, and when he does, even if Sora is using a different Keyblade, it transforms into the Ultima Weapon. Or perhaps a different, empyrean Keyblade of pure energy and light known as the Omega Weapon.
Yozora is the absolute Keyblade Master.
Lastly, both endings of the Secret Episode of RE MIND feature the phrase, 'Like, I've been having these weird thoughts lately. I wonder if any of this is real or not.' thought by Sora at the beginning of the first KINGDOM HEARTS Game.
***
Because, at the time Yozora 'ended up in this place by accident, went through a bunch of trials, and then was told to 'save Sora,' his original heart had been replaced by another's and the Master's original heart had ended up as Vanitas inside Ventus. Recall that, before the RE MIND version of the battle with Vanitas and Terra-Xehanort, Vanitas reveals that the darkness that he is isn't Ventus' darkness but was placed inside Ventus' heart from outside of Ventus' heart.
Vanitas is the Master's original heart, with his memories gone, and in the form of a boy who resembles Sora. Recall Vanitas' personality. The words "Venty-Wenty," for example. Vanitas has a similar personality to the Master's.
When Yozora tells Sora that he's Yozora, he also says 'this isn't what I really look like.' Yozora's true form is an adult version of Vanitas.
Why was the Master around to talk to Xehanort? Because Xehanort was Yozora/Vanitas' latest pawn for turning all existence into an everlasting dream. Yozora doesn't care about vanishing himself, he cares about protecting his lost love from having vanished. So Yozora manipulated Xehanort as his latest puppet to fall to darkness as the next stage in his plan for accomplishing transfiguring all existence into an everlasting dream and protecting and saving her.
Yozora manipulated his original apprentices as well. At first he attempted to convince Ira - or 'Anger' - to obey the Books of Prophecies - which don't tell the future as it is destined to unfold, they *tell the future that Yozora wants to unfold* - so the Keyblade War would happen, but when Ira refused to, Yozora pretended to accept Ira's wishes to protect the realm of light while actually manipulating his apprentices, Ira, Invi - 'Insincerity,' Aced - 'Betrayal' or 'Bitterness' or 'Acid,' Gula - or 'Guile' or 'Manipulation' or 'Deceit,' Luxu - maybe 'Loss of Light,' I'm not sure of this one yet, and Ava - or 'Eve' or 'Holy Mother' or 'Earth Mother' - to turn them against each other and to cause them to increasingly lose faith in everything save the roles Yozora had assigned them so Yozora could thus ensure the Keyblade War happened that way. - Though Yozora didn't need to cause Luxu to lose faith in everything but his role because Luxu is Yozora's 'teacher's pet,' so Luxu already believed in Yozora so much that Yozora didn't need to manipulate him as much. And Yozora failed to fully cause Ava to lose faith in everything but her role because of the love she shares with Ephemer. -
Recall how Luxu/Braig/Xigbar gets upset with Xion looking at him like Ventus 'glaring as though Luxu/Braig/Xigbar has killed her/his dog.' Luxu says those lines like he's taking it *personally.* Luxu/Braig/Xigbar is Yozora's 'teacher's pet,' so Luxu doesn't want Ventus, and thus Vanitas, looking at him as though Yozora/Vanitas is upset with the *dog Luxu.*
The Dark Inferno, the original optional super Boss of KINGDOM HEARTS III, has the name 'Dark Inferno Chi' when Sora battles the Dark Inferno who is Ven's darkness that Vanitas originated from, both Dark Infernos wield a weapon in each hand as Yozora does, and Yozora is the hardest optional super Boss of KINGDOM HEARTS III: RE MIND. And it's a KINGDOM HEARTS tradition that the hardest optional super Boss of a previous major KINGDOM HEARTS Game is the central antagonist, or, at least, the Final Boss of the next major KINGDOM HEARTS Game. Unknown in KINGDOM HEARTS: FINAL MIX is Xemnas, the central antagonist of KINGDOM HEARTS II. The Lingering Sentiment in KINGDOM HEARTS II: FINAL MIX PLUS is Terra-Xehanort, the Final Boss of KINGDOM HEARTS: BIRTH BY SLEEP. The Mysterious Figure and the No Name Heartless are; Young Xehanort, the second-to-last - and arguably the real - Final Boss of KINGDOM HEARTS 3D: DREAM DROP DISTANCE; and Xehanort in his original body's original Keyblade Armor, and Xehanort is the central antagonist and the Final Boss of the entire KINGDOM HEARTS Dark Seeker Saga and of KINGDOM HEARTS III, while Xehanort's new Keyblade Armor is the Final Boss of KINGDOM HEARTS III: RE MIND proper.
***
There's evidence from all over the place in the KINGDOM HEARTS series.
Such as that the Master created the Dream Eaters, Ventus is the character connected the closest to the title 'BIRTH BY SLEEP,' Maleficent originates from the Disney movie 'SLEEPING' BEAUTY and seeks the Books of Prophecies and Luxu's black box, Young Xehanort told Sora vanishing, as the Master and Sora both did, is similar to falling to the bottom of the abyss of dreams, Yozora's weapon other than his Keyblade/sword - which might be the Omega Weapon, not the Ultima Weapon is an arrowgun - which is Luxu's primary weapon when he's not wielding No Name - the military subordinate who talks to Yozora in the car has his hair cut in a similar fashion to Luxu/Braig/Xigbar, Ventus' Keyblade Armor protected Sora from darkness in a dream world and turned into a Nightmare when doing so but it didn't protect Sora from turning into a Heartless through using the Keyblade of Hearts in Radiant Garden, and more.
There's another issue. Jiminy's Journal Profile reveals that Demon Towers and Demon Tides aren't usually seen in the realm of light, and it strongly implies or all but states that their presence is a harbinger of things to come.
Xehanort and the Real Organization weren't behind the Demon Towers.
The *Princesses of Heart* were, though Yozora/Vanitas or Luxu/Braig/Xigbar or one or more of the other Foretellers may have created them by forcibly extracting darkness from the hearts of the Princesses of Heart.
Look at where you encounter them, save for the KINGDOM HEARTS III Clear Game Battle Portal in Monstropolis that isn't as canon to the main story, though it's still connected to Vanitas, who was present in Monstropolis:
The Castle of Dreams after it fell to darkness. The Dwarf Woodlands after they fell to darkness. The edges of the Enchanted Dominion after it fell to darkness.
The presence of the huge sphere of darkness in the Forest of Thorns that the Darksides were feeding more darkness to - and the presence of so many Darksides in the Forest of Thorns in the first place - is also suspect. It might have birthed a particularly deadly Demon Tower had the Darksides completed finishing it.
Not a Demon Tide.
The only Princess of Heart who can birth a Demon Tide is Kairi.
Perhaps because she likely has Ava's heart stuck inside her as Ventus' heart was once stuck inside Sora's, and is therefore also a Keyblade wielder, and hasn't passed on her power like the other Seven Hearts.
The three Demon Tides all appear in places connected to Kairi.
The Destiny Islands play islands beach where Kairi spent much of her life growing up with Sora and Riku, the Door to Darkness where she is about to appear to say goodbye to Sora, Twilight Town where Xion and Namine spent a lot of their time - And this Demon Tide retreated without putting up much of a fight and its appearance was preceded by the words, 'We have come for you, my liege.' The Dusks had just been defeated. That wasn't the Nobodies talking to Roxas. That was the Demon Tide talking to Vanitas or Ventus, who is Yozora, or to Sora because of his connection to Kairi.
And, most tellingly, the Keyblade Graveyard after Kairi felt Sora's pain in her heart after Terra-Xehanort did a number on the guardians of light, Goofy, and Donald.
***
However, even if Cinderella, Snow White, and Aurora didn't create the Demon Towers and/or the huge energy sphere in Enchanted Dominion after it fell to darkness, Kairi likely *did* create the two Demon Towers that you battle in KINGDOM HEARTS III.
They show up in the Dark Margin, where her letter arrived in KINGDOM HEARTS II and enabled Sora to open his Door to Light.
They weren't Demon Tides because, unlike in A FRAGMENTARY PASSAGE, the Door to Darkness is now closed, so Kairi can't influence the realm of darkness as much as she could during the time frame of KINGDOM HEARTS.
***
And there's a lesser chance that Kairi created the Demon Towers, since she was right there with Riku and saw and heard his pain when he discovered Aqua had sacrificed herself for him, so she had plenty of motive to want to prevent Riku from meeting with Aqua and Aqua potentially causing Riku more pain; or Mickey from burdening Riku with more revelations like what he'd told Riku that had hurt him so badly, more responsibilities, and thus more pain.
***
The first Demon Tide we see emerges from the *Secret Place* when the Destiny Islands have fallen into darkness, the most important place on the play island to Kairi, where the Keyblade of Darkness that Mickey seeks, a golden spun shattered glass reflection of Sora's Kingdom Key, is hovering. The second Demon Tide explicitly goes after *Riku* at the Door to Darkness, who has recently fallen to darkness and cost Sora his heart right in front of Kairi in spite of her efforts to prevent it from happening. The third Demon Tide, the one in Twilight Town, goes after *Pence, Olette, and Hayner* shortly after Sora begins talking about feeling Roxas' pain - meaning, if Olette, Pence, and Hayner meet up with Sora, due to their ties to Roxas, Sora will go through even more pain. The fourth Demon Tide, the gigantic one, doesn't appear to have a specific goal, but since it's - supposedly - a Heartless, it's reasonable to believe it was just attacking the hearts of light nearby like the other Demon Tides do, and that Kairi likely created it to curb stomp Xehanort and the rest of the Real Organization Thirteen. That Demon Tide is also reborn at the size of a regular Demon Tide when Sora reverses space-time and is more confident, but once Sora defeats it in its regular size and he begins to be terrified that this won't be enough and he loses confidence, it re-assumes its original gigantic size.
That Namine was able to create a Data Sora Heartless not just deadly enough to wipe out the entire Jiminy's Journal datascape by itself once it had evolved enough, but also deadly enough to break out of the datascape and pose a serious threat to reality's realm of light, also merits paying attention to.
***
*She,* perhaps with Yozora's and/or Luxu's and/or one or more of the other Foretellers' assistance, created the gigantic Demon Tide that it took reversing space-time and hundreds or thousands or tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands or more Keyblade wielders to defeat.
And maybe the Lich too.
This is also why she alone of the guardians of light wasn't consumed by the darkness, though another reason might have been that Ephemer protected her then to protect Ava. He assisted Sora at the Keyblade Graveyard to defeat the gigantic Demon Tide to protect Ava.
Yozora manipulated Xehanort to fall to darkness specifically so Kairi would create the gigantic Demon Tide and then Xehanort would murder Kairi, all of these things causing Sora to abuse the power of waking, break the laws of nature, and die and vanish.
The role that Yozora assigned Xehanort was to turn Kairi into Sora's murderer.
And the temporary murderer of Riku and Goofy and Donald and Mickey and Kairi's other loved ones and friends as well.
As the first MELODY OF MEMORIES Trailer reveals, Kairi's memories and melodies hold the central key to Yozora's plan. He might even have been the reason Kairi ended up at Destiny Islands. He indirectly or directly sent her there so that she'd meet Sora and Riku and grow up with them.
[T]he brightest light casts the darkest shadow.
The closer you get to the light, the greater your shadow becomes.
Kairi will become Yozora's ultimate weapon to transfigure all existence into an everlasting dream.
For that matter, Rex playing VERUM REX is reminiscent of the opening of TOY STORY 2. The phrase 'to infinity and beyond' is thus connected to Yozora.
