The king's role in KH2.....evil????

I've seen ALL the trailers, so far. And I was just speculating. And the talk of the King going evil is out of my range. What I'm trying to say is that he's just like MetaKnight from Kirby: Right Back At Ya! He's good, but he is mysterious, and has a way of boggling others' minds.

Yeah I am pretty sure Mickey will not be evil, wait scatch that he WILL NOT BE EVIL AT ALL. But there is a chance that he could use the darkness, I think this may be what Nomura meant when he said "You'll be surprised by Mickey's role in KH2". I am not sure because he went down the path to twilight with Riku in CoM, but he never said that was his choice to be twilight.

well i seriously doubt they would turn mickey evil. it would just ruin the whole story cause i mean think about it...mickeys a disney chracter....no disney characters can truly be evil. they may seem it but theyre not. honestly like i said if they truned mickey evil it would just ruin the whole storyline

Maleficent is a Disney character, and I'd say she's the MISTRESS of evil. oo;;; She called on the powers of HELL! Go watch Sleeping Beauty! I think she's also the only Disney villain to say something borderline "bad" (like saying hell).

EDIT: Nomura confirmed in an interview (not sure which one) that Disney will not let them make Mickey evil, so this thread is pointless. However...the powers of darkness do NOT mean evil...go watch Digimon Frontier, Kouichi uses the Spirits of Darkness but he's a good guy!

Yeah, and hasn't it been said before that there is some purpose to the black robes that Mickey, BHK, Sora, and Riku wear? Perhaps Mickey and the others are only using the darkness like Riku has before. Darkness does not always mean evil or bad.

When he said King MIckey's role will surprise you i think he ment when we saw him in the Black Coat or it could be something else that we haven't seen yet.

I for one an for the whole "Mickey could be using the darkness for good theory." It just seems realistic to me. It could happen but then again it could not.

I think Mickey would be using dark powers to help hiself in the game. when mickey followed Riku down the road mabe he went with him for a reason?

If they made Mickey evil then Disney would be like WTF and then go chew them out about making the bad ass mouse of KH evil. Though he could probably fake his fight with Sora and the gang and then turn on them like Axel did. Also hella Disney villains are evil like… what his face… is umm… awww I can’t remember. Though hopefully the game will have heck of betrayals in the game that will make things interesting
