My Picks:

GAME OF THE YEAR

-Uncharted 4: A Thief's End by Naughty Dog/Sony

BEST STUDIO/GAME DIRECTION
-Naughty Dog for Uncharted 4

BEST NARRATIVE
-Uncharted 4: A Thief's End by Naughty Dog/Sony
*I think Inside has a great chance to win this one, too.

BEST ART DIRECTION
-Firewatch by Campo Santo

BEST MUSIC/SOUND DESIGN
-Rez Infinite by Enhance Games

BEST PERFORMANCE
-Nolan North as Nathan Drake, Uncharted 4
*There were a lot of great performances here, and I'd give all the nominees the award if I could. Rose would be my next choice after North, though.

GAMES FOR IMPACT AWARD
-That Dragon, Cancer by Numinous Games

BEST INDEPENDENT GAME
-Inside by PlayDead

BEST MOBILE/HANDHELD GAME
-Fire Emblem Fates by Intelligent Systems/Nintendo
*Pokemon Go also has a good chance based on its resonance with the public at the time of launch.

BEST VR GAME
-Batman: Arkham VR by Rocksteady/WBIE

BEST ACTION GAME
-Overwatch by Blizzard Entertainment
*I think Battlefield 1 could have a case made here, too.

BEST ACTION/ADVENTURE GAME
-Uncharted 4: A Thief's End by Naughty Dog/Sony

BEST ROLE PLAYING GAME
-The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt -- Blood and Wine by CD Projekt RED

BEST FIGHTING GAME
-Street Fighter V by Capcom

BEST FAMILY GAME
-Ratchet and Clank by Insomniac Games/Sony
*My personal pick, but I actually think Lego Star Wars and Pokemon Go stand a chance here.

BEST STRATEGY GAME
-Civilization VI by Firaxis Games/2K

BEST SPORTS/RACING GAME
-Forza Horizons 3 by Playground Games/Microsoft

BEST MULTIPLAYER GAME
-Overwatch by Blizzard Entertainment
*Battlefield 1 has great chances here, too.

I've either played or have extensive knowledge on most of the games on the list, and every single game I have chosen. I think in almost every place where nominated, Uncharted 4 wins, except maybe best narrative, where I could sin Inside coming away with the trophy. In whatI felt to be a surprisingly lackluster year for video games, Uncharted 4 stands out easily. It's one of the best games I have ever played, and I fail to see how it doesn't run away with the competition. As impressive as Overwatch, Battlefield 1, and Inside are, they don't even come close to the technical and artful masterpiece that I felt Uncharted 4 was this year.

Honestly....was it any surprise Overwatch got GOTY? C'mon folks...wake up and smell the bandwagon coffee. I do give props how an objective-based FPS changed the genre to win GOTY.

Some of these picks can suck a phat dickkkkkkkkkkkkkkk tho

Like Pokemon Go winning both Best Mobile Game and Best Family Game? Fcuk that. That alpha piece of shit aka Ingress 2.0 had so many god damn problems and various updates that definitely don't redeem it as "best" anything. Honestly, the Best Mobile Game should have been MH Generations or FE Fates. GO is just a fad. A bestseller or record breaker =/= best.

Best Fighting Game: Street Fighter V. LOLOLOLOL. Another polished alpha trash game making records. Great.

Best RPG: The Witcher 3.....damn straight, absolutely deserved it. (no sarcasm)

Also Geoff jocking Kojima's d at these shows is practically a must at every Game Awards. Tis true, Kojima has had a rocky 6 months, but it ain't an awards show without the Geoff/Kojima bromance.

Not Witcher 3 itself but an expansion, seems weird to me to give such an award to DLC.
