Huh, how do we know that door is gone?
if we sealed the door to Kingdom Hearts TWICE already, why did we have to continue running around beating up on poor denizens of darkness and seal those dumb random keys.
In the KHII some of the keyholes weren't even keyholes.
No, not the door to darkness. The door to Destiny Islands' Keyhole, which, when unlocked, broke the barrier separating the island from the outside worlds, the shattered barrier pieces bcame gummis, and Heartless were able to enter the island because of the broken barrier.

The door leads to the Heart of Destiny Islands, which holds the heart of the world...traveling through the dark pathways the heartless came sensing the Hearts, which collapsed the barrier around Destiny Islands and opening it up to the other worlds.

Umm guys the keyhole on DI is still open. It only "showed" itself to Riku that one time for well some unknown reason.
Actually, when Sora and King Mickey sealed The Door to Darkness at The End of the World, it sealed ALL the World's Keyholes, hence why the Gummi Ship had to travel through "special paths" in KH2 since the Keyholes were locked.
The Door itself was still there if you saw when Sora went into the secret place at the end of KH2 and saw Kairi's Drawing, the Door was still there.

How do you know the keyholes closed? I don't ever remember anyone say this. While it s true the worlds became separated that wasn't because of the keyhole it was because of the invisible walls that separate them all.
No But Once They Locked Kingdom Hearts Then All the Key Holes Must Have Locked .. As That Was What Was Connecting The Worlds That is Why In Kingdom Hearts 2 You need To Go Through Them Gummi Paths SO you Could Get To That World That is also why when ever you completed a world you had that mini cutscene where something triggred the keyhole to appear then that crown like shape would appear and sora would unlcok a world
Umm dude that "keyhole cutscene" wasn't a keyhole at all even Yen Sid said it means a new path has opened and thats all. Also yes a keyhole is immensely powerful but no one ever said its the connection to all the worlds. A keyhole is just a door to that worlds heart. Nothing more nothing less. Also if the cutscene did mean what you say it meant Sora would be a blithering idiot.:lol: It would mean all the hard work of sealing the worlds keyholes in KH1 was all for nothing. So I'm sorry but your explanation doesn't make sense. So that's my story and I'm sticking to it.
I think that the door is locked because right at the end of KH2 During the credits there is a scene with sora looking at the star that Kari drew and you see the door but no keyhole and im thinking that the keyhole would have showed up if it wasnt locked because of sora having the keyblade with him so im guessing it got locked at the end of KH1.
But thats only a guess =]
