On the card that Sora received, it says 'Rebuilding Committee Special Member'. Sora's happy that he's been recognized!

It reads "Hollow Bastion Restoration Commitee, Honorary Member: Sora".
It probably allows Sora to get into certain part of Hollow Bastion and shows that he has helped in the rebuilding of Hollow Bastion

Aren't they trying to rebuild Hollow Bastion to its original state? So if he has a card that states he is a member of the Rebuilding Commitee, wouldn't it mean that he is like one of the Rebuilding team?

Everyone is probably right about the card letting him get in a certain part of hollow bastion. Just like in kh1 where he had to get that hero card from phil
