Chapter One
Welcome to the end of the world. In this plane, you will feel pains beyond your wildest imaginations, and wish you were already dead. If you manage to survive here, you will need to strengthen not only your body, but your mind and soul as well. Once this is achieved, then the real battles begin… This is the Underworld of Edinea. Several people have been to this place and never returned, and for those that have, it would probably be better if they never did. This place of supreme darkness is the home of many creatures that live in only your nightmares, and any mere mortal would die at the sheer sight of them alive. Trouble has come to Earth, for now more and more of these Creatures of the Night are escaping, and seeking revenge on the humankind that locked them there millennia ago. If they aren’t stopped, the world as we know it now may cease to exist.

But all is not lost; for there is always light where darkness presides. There is a place higher than Heaven is now beginning to send their Angels as such to stop these threats on the humankind. The realm of Second Heaven is now opening, and sending the Seraphs of Elements to rid the menace that the Underworld is releasing. Among these Seraphs are higher-ranking immortal beings, the three Hero Seraphs. Power, Intelligence and Speed. Being more powerful than their counterparts of Second Heaven, they have incredible strength in their chosen field.

Leon, the Hero of Power, stands a mighty 7’ tall, and is incredibly built in his torso and arms. He has long black hair running down to the mid of his back, with sparkling red eyes. He wears a dark red silk shirt with black runes of Power running down the left side. He pants are simple black jeans, with a crimson tinge throughout the stitching. His six wings have a vary of colours, the top two being red, the middle being a dark crimson and the last being black.

Ranger, the Hero of Intelligence, reaches a height of just 5’5. She seems to have an average build, but doesn’t rely on her physical physique to attack her opponents. She has brilliant gold hair that stops just under her shoulders, and has a slight curve upwards at the end. Her eyes are a goldish colour, and tend to have a tint of wisdom in them at all times. She wears a long sleeved yellow shirt with black runes of Intelligence running down the middle, with a white silky vest over top. Her pants run down just past her knees and are a white colour, with a gold shine on them in a certain light. Her wings are tricoloured, the top being white, the middle shining a brilliant yellow, and the last a glimmering dark gold.

Jet, the Hero of Speed, stands at an average 6’1 tall, and has an athletic build to help keep his reflexes in top shape. He has sapphire hair that reaches a length of about one and a half inches, and spikes back on a 45-degree angle. His eyes are a dark blue colour, and always have a hint of cheekiness in them. He wears a deep blue muscle shirt with black ruins of Speed running down the right side. His pants are tight on his legs, and are a deep navy colour, running just to his ankles. His wings have three closely related colours, the top sky blue, the middle pure azure, and the bottom dark sapphire.

These three heroes have been friends since they ever met each other, alive and as Seraphs. Gaining Hero status wasn’t as easy as it sounds. They had to be a normal Seraph at first, getting all the hard and unusual jobs. Then, after a few centuries of loyalty, they became Seraphs of Elements. Although not having one of the predefined elements, they worked to their full potential with their new powers, protecting the world from lesser evils.

Then, one day, Leon, Ranger and Jet were on a routine adventure, when they found something within a temple… Three stones, glowing the colours of the ancients. As they walked up to three stones, a deep voice spoke out. “Be warn young Seraphs, with these three stones comes a great amount of responsibility. If you decide to take these, you will be left with this choice for the rest of your immortal life.” As suddenly as the voice had start, it disappeared…

The three looked at each other, question locked within their eyes. Finally, Leon opened his mouth. “Well, what should we do? I think we have found the Three Hero Stones, but if we take them, what will happen do us?” Once again, a silence of epic proportions emerged. Ranger and Jet were silent, looking at Leon, thinking over his question, and many more racing through their minds.

Eventually Ranger spoke up, her wisdom usually making most situations work out. “I think that we should take them. If we have found the Three Hero Stones, we can handle the responsibility. We have always been together, and we always will be. If we don’t, we could be missing out on the greatest opportunity in our immortal lives.” She finished a bit quiet, being reminded of the day they were all killed. Vivid flashbacks entered her mind, and she shuddered a little.

Jet, being the only one not to talk yet, began to step forward. He was ready for this. They had been Seraphs of Elements for so long, and he was ready to go to the next level. Even though he never took anything too seriously, he had the straightest face Ranger and Leon had ever seen. He took another step towards the Blue Stone, and then looked back at his friends. “We have to do this. This is what we have been waiting for since we heard about them. Don’t tell me any different, because I can see it in your eyes…” He put out his right hand, and stopped, waiting for the support of the other two.

Leon and Ranger knew that Jet was right… for once. They took their steps towards the Stones; Leon heading towards the Red Stone and Ranger the Yellow Stone. Jet smirked a little as his two friends finally came to their senses and followed suit. Leon outstretched his left hand, while Ranger put both out, the Stone looking a little big for her strength. As they got closer, they could see ancient runes engraved into the stone in front of them. Jet smiled widely and whispered, “This has to be them. They have the engravings of Heroism.” Finally, they all looked at each other, and nodded, and took the final step, touching the stones…

A white light, and a great shudder could be felt for miles around them. Each of them could feel changes happening to them. Leon, the unofficial leader, felt his body strengthen, and he grew taller to compensate for the extra muscle. Ranger’s body didn’t change all that much, but she could see everything and anything she wanted to, feeling her intellect grow by each passing second. Jet felt his muscles tighten, and his body sleek out, making him the perfect speed machine. After what seemed like an eternity, the light slowly faded, and they were revealed to each other. The colour of the stone had adapted into their body and clothing style. They were the new Heroes of Second Heaven.

Chapter Two
Deep in the uncharted territory of the Underworld, two figures stood, talking of plans of the near future. “We can succeed, if only we release our full arsenal of creatures. Why don’t we just do it now?” A deep, male voice bellowed. This figure was about 6’ tall, and wore a cloak that nearly covered his entire body. It was tattered and torn at the bottom, and small holes showed through the black material. Underneath the cloak, a pair of old, dark jeans could be seen, finished off by a pair of leather boots. The face at the moment was hidden in the darkness.

To the intense question finally came a reply, but the voice was surprisingly female. “We can’t just yet. The portal is still opening, and can only release our smaller creatures. Patience Vincent, patience…” The second figure stepped out of the shadows, and revealed a slender dark red-skinned body, with a tight leather suit covering most of her, tightly hugging her forearms, her torso and stomach, and the bottom of her legs. Her fire-red hair reached the back of her legs, and was straight as an arrow. Her eyes shone with sparkling blackness, and had a threatening look at all times. She stepped over to Vincent and put one of her clawed fingers on his cheek. “Our time is close, but if we rush it, we will fail. We will conquer all those who stand in our way, and leave them in the destruction we leave behind.”

Vincent now stepped out, showing his face. He had short brown hair that wasn’t looked after, and tended to look untidy all the time. A small black eye patch covered one of his eyes, while the other was a dull brown, almost lifeless. He looked at the ground, and muttered out a few words on a barely auditable level. Then, he lifted his head back up, and looked at the female figure. “Yes, you’re right once again. We will wait, and strike with full force when the time is right Daemonia.” He grabbed her hand, stroked it once, and then let it fall to her side.

Not known to many of the other demons, Daemonia and Vincent had a long relationship together and were constantly hiding it from them. If any of the demons found out about it, they could overthrow them from the top because of feeling a human emotion. They have had a few close calls, but had managed to destroy any evidence by any means necessary. They had even had to kill some of their best minions because of their feelings. Their teamwork and love had led them rise to the top, and some of the lower demons were starting to become suspicious.

After having their small talk, Daemonia shimmered away, and left Vincent to stand there, with his head looking at nothing. He sighed, and turned around, right into the face of one of his most devoted followers, Zetsumi. He stood there, his eyes having a questioning look in them. Vincent’s face quickly turned to shock, then sternness. “How long have you been here?” His voice was firm, but had a hint of fear through it. Zetsumi’s eyes changed to a loyal look, and he replied with a quick note.

“I’ve only just arrived master. I come with news. Second Heaven is starting to send more powerful Seraphs after us, and I’m sure that the Heroes will arrive soon. If this continues, we will be wiped out before we have a chance to fully unleash ourselves.” He bowed, his dirty blonde hair falling over his head, and covering his face. He put his right arm over his chest, the bandages that he always wore slightly ripping and falling. His left arm followed suit, and shot behind his back, covered in a fine mail material. His shirt had never kept its sleeves, and was a bloodstained colour. His pants had a tint of bloodstain at the top, with the rest being a cloth-like blue, and covering his unique purple leather shoes.

Vincent took his loyal disciple’s word, and turned with concern. He put his hand to his head, and closed his eyes. He thought deeply and wondered what he could do to keep his minions fighting and start to take control of the war they had waged against Second Heaven. His thoughts drifted slightly to Daemonia, and what she could do if she was here, his intensions turning on how to impress her without her help. He finally had it. “We will go ourselves. We can slip through the portal together, and balance this war in our favour.”

Zetsumi looked at his master, a look in his purple eyes shining with bloodlust. He had been waiting for this order ever since the war had started. He stood up straight again, his arms still wrapped around him, and looked at the back of Vincent. Zetsumi watched as his master turned slowly, a smile over his face telling his follower that he too wanted this to happen. His hand was extended to his disciple, and once it was filled, a small surge of energy flowed into Zetsumi’s body. His eyes turned from the purple colour, to a shocking aqua, and his hair lengthened a little, changing to the same colour. Small electrical surges pulsed from his body, and Vincent knew that he was now ready for the battle that was to come in the near future.

Daemonia had shimmered not too far away, and kept her presence barely noticeable. She watched Vincent, and his follower Zetsumi talk. She heard of their plan, and smiled to herself. Vincent was finally beginning to take charge, and soon he would be ready for her master plan. She cloned herself, leaving a shadow to watch the rest of the conversation. She shimmered away, and soon arrived at her throne, sitting down slowly and watching in her mind the rest of what the shadow saw. She watched Vincent share power to Zetsumi, and wondered why she had never seen him do anything similar before. If he could share power, why didn’t he ever share with herself?

Thoughts ran through her mind, not only of Vincent, but also of the current war that battled on as she sat there. She clicked her fingers, and five figures appeared before her. Each appearance was the same as the other, but all of different colours: red, purple, blue, deep green and yellow. They each had extremely short hair, and wore only their coloured pants. If you looked into their eyes, all you could see is a black emptiness with no emotions what so ever. They each stood in the presence of their summoner, and waited for orders. Finally, Daemonia looked up, and told her orders sharply. “Follow Vincent and Zetsumi. Make sure Vincent stays alive. Zetsumi is expendable.” The five figures nodded, and a black smoke covered them, fading away with these five dark minions.

Daemonia sat back in her throne, and pur her head on her left hand, holding it up and beginning to think again. She trusted Vincent and would do anything for him, but why did he keep such a powerful secret from her? Something like this could change the entire war, but he had kept it and given power to his most loyal minion. Maybe there was a reason he didn’t give power to her. She couldn’t think straight anymore, and a sharp glare hit the ground, an small explosion making the dirt scatter from the point, leaving a small hole in the ground. She stood up again quickly, and shimmered back to her shadow. She dismissed it, and continued to watch…

Vincent and Zetsumi smiled together, the evil on their faces matching one another perfectly. Vincent put his hand on Zetsumi’s shoulder, and then turned, his hand dropping to his side, and began to walk, his follower closely behind. As the master began to fade, the disciple followed suit. Once they had fully disappeared, they were transported directly in front of the portal that would allow them to join the war. With one last look, Vincent stepped forward and was sucked into the portal. Zetsumi was only a few seconds behind him, and when he arrived, saw the battlefield of Seraphs and lower demons waging right in front of them. Vincent looked back at Zetsumi, smiled and then ran into the battle…

You made my character a servent? I believe I asked you to switch the names of the two?

Ah well. I already made my congratulations and suggestions when I first saw this. They still stand.

Chapter Three
In the highest parts of Second Heaven, a small figure sat on a wisp of a cloud, his wings folded so they were out of the way. Two wings were also on his head, showing through his snow-white hair. He sat with his arms crossed, and looked over the tragic battle that was happening below. “Damn, why now? We have had peace in this place for over 10,000 years. What has happened?” He shifted his weight slightly, and then began to hover. His wings flapped lightly, giving him that extra boost of height. He turned, and for the first time, Goudias, the God of Second Heaven was seen.

He was only a child, but had the wisdom of many millennia. His hair stopped just at his nose, and layered to the back, finishing above his shoulders. Under this silky veil of hair, two blue eyes shone, a hint of yellow at the pupil. His body looked frail, only small, fitting the child-like frame that the rest of his body portrayed. His body was covered in only a simple cloth, tied together over his left shoulder. His feet were bare but were surprisingly clean for never wearing shoes or sandals. His wings on his back and head were a light silver, with a gold trimming on the tops only.

He raised his hands to his head, and closed his eyes, hovering over to an orb of silver and purple swirls. He stopped just at it, and dropped his hands. He opened his eyes slowly, and a weird glowed appeared from them. The swirls in the orb began to move, and they revealed a location of five beings… the Seraphs of Elements. They were in a type of trance, and awaiting orders to move out. Goudias didn’t want to resort to this, but as each new day past, stronger demons showed up, and were beginning to destroy the Seraphs that were most loyal to him. He looked back, seeing a glimpse of the war that still carried on, killing more and more.

Three Seraphs fought off a creature twice the size of a normal human, and its skin was a deep brown, tears and cuts oozing out blood from wounds, but showing no sign of slowing it down. Its teeth were stained red, and his eyes were bloodshot with rage and revenge. His claws were like razors, slicing through the bodies of the Seraphs like scissors through paper. One of the older Seraphs moved quickly to dodge the attacks from this beast that they named the Slasher. Surprising for its size, the creature moved just as fast, and knocked the Seraph back. He stalked the injured angelic figure, and held his razor sharp claws high into the sky, ready to make the finishing move. To the older Seraph’s relief, the two other Seraphs flew straight in, knocking the Slasher to his knees with a basic Tornado Kick.

The Slasher cried out a blood-curdling scream, making the Seraphs within a close distance have to cover their ears. Taking the quick chance it had, the creature raised its hands and sliced cleanly through the Seraph he was targeting before. Cries that seemed to ring out constantly continued, and were added to again with each fresh kill. The two younger Seraphs felt a surge of power as their elder was killed. They were surrounded by a glowing white aura, and flew directly at the killer. They ripped straight through the skin of the beast, creating a massive hole in the chest of the Slasher. It fell, revenge sought out for the death of the Seraph just killed.

Goudias turned again the orb, and began to speak… “Elements, we need you. We are beginning to fall more and more, and I can’t stand the sight of my most beloved Seraphs dying for this cause anymore. You need to finish this quickly.” The image in the orb showed five figures open their eyes, and stand up, bowing to nothing but the voice that had just spoke to them. Their mighty wings opened, reaching a massive span of seven feet each and being a beautiful display of colours as they straightened up. The five of them crouched slightly, and then took off, leaving a small cloud of dust from the sheer force.

Goudias closed his eyes, turning slowly as the orb stopped swirling, becoming a solid colour once again. He shook his head, regretting having to call upon the support of the Elements, but this war had to be finished before too many others were killed. He went back to the cloud he sat on before, opening his eyes again, and hating the fact that because of his much adored underlings were sacrificing themselves for the greater good. He knew now that they would stand more of a chance because the Seraphs of Elements were now on their way to help stop this war.

There were five in total. The first, and most likely leader was Willow. She was the element of Wind, and can tell when people are lying to her because of the change in their breathing patterns. Her hair ran down to just at her shoulders, usually flowing free and sparkled with a brilliant purple. Her eyes matched her hair, with black pupils sitting perfectly in the middle, never seeming to move for her to see to the side. Her outfit consisted of a purple long sleeved shirt with a gold trimming, and a white pair of pants that bag just over her ankles. Her wings were all purple, with gold along the top.

Secondly, there was Calista. She had control over the element of Lightning. She seems to judge people too quickly, and usually gets the wrong impression. She had a great amount of thick curly yellowy blonde locks, reaching down past her back. Her eyes were like that of a cat, yellow with slitted pupils, and allowing her to see over great distances. She wore a white top, with shining black silk sewn around the collar and bottom of the shirt. Her pants were a gold colour, looking like a skirt that have a seal up the leggings like shorts, stopping just under her knees. She had control over a set of deep gold wings, black along the top of hers.

Next, Atlas came into the picture. He was the controller of the element of Earth. He has a sturdy attitude towards anything, sticking with anything he starts. He had extremely short green hair, barely reaching longer than an inch and always sticking up. His eyes were solid green, with black lines scattered over them, looking like cracks, but actually being his pupils, and could let him create small quakes. He didn’t usually wear a shirt, and shows off a great amount of muscle, but isn’t for power, but endurance. He had a pair of green pinstripe pants, the lines being black. He had a massive set of luminous green wings, with a silver lining on top of the powerful limbs.

Along with these three was Slater. Ice was the element that he commanded. He is cool and calm in any situation, and has never had a burst of temper. His hair was a gentle light blue, and seemed to defy gravity as it spiked up straight at the front, and began to angle more as it came to the back, reaching a maximum length of three inches. His eyes were a darker blue, and had a glaze over them at all times, allowing him to intimidate people into telling him what he wanted. He wore a silky sapphire vest, with a pair of silver ¾ jeans. His wings were a deep sky blue, with the tops being white.

Finally, there was Akuma. He controlled the element of Fire. He had a short temper, and usually lost control over his emotions very quickly. His hair flowed to his shoulders, the front being slightly shorter, and the whole of it being a flame red, slight oranges seen at the roots. His eyes were red, the pupils being an orange colour, and looking like a flame rather than a circle, allowing him to heat up a small area slightly. His shirt was a deep red colour, with the sleeves being cut to look like flames, and having yellows close to the edge. His pants were also deep red, but the ends were straight, and stopped at his shins. He had wings of brilliant ruby colour, with yellow tops.

After a while, Goudias saw the five Seraphs fly past with great speed, heading towards the battlefield. He smiled slightly, knowing that the rest of the Seraphs would have a morality rise after seeing these Elements fight along side them. He wanted this war to finish, before it was too late… or he had to join. He hadn’t fought a war in ages, and if he did, there would be great destruction and sacrifices. He let his eyes fall, and had flashes of the last time he fought… the terrible war that ended his best friends life….

Chapter Four
The battle in front of Vincent and Zetsumi raged on, even as they entered. Some of the lower demons rejoiced as two of their leaders were now joining them. The two men looked at each other, nodded, then Vincent let out a red beam, Zetsumi's being aqua, and both merging through the air, and wiping out a large area when they hit a Seraph full force. They smiled at each other, and then leapt into action, punching and sending smaller beams towards the Seraphs who had enough guts to try and fight them. They laughed at the pathetic attempts on their lives, and continued to slaughter those in their way, while the lesser demons followed, taking out any they missed.

Much to the Seraphs relief, they saw the five coloured wings of the Seraph of Elements fly over top, destroying some of the demons in their way. The five higher Seraphs saw the beams coming from Vincent and Zetsumi, and flew over, landing in front of them. Once landing, the stood there, and Willow said, “Your reign of terror has come to an end. Now, you will pay for your treachery. Prepare to be destroyed.” They took a fighting pose, and began to power some of their weaker attacks. They were ready for this, their other tasks bringing much experience for this battle.

The two dark figures stopped, and then looked at each. They each had a look in their eyes of surprise, and also a tint of humour. They then looked back at the five figures, threw their heads back, and let out a loud array of laughter. Vincent spoke up, a bit quiet at first, “You think… that a couple more enemies with an assortment of colours can beat us two? You have to be kidding me.” He shook his head, quickly shooting a beam at the group, and making them scatter into the air. Zetsumi laughed like a maniac, and sent a few of his own beams into the scattered group, and was actually quite surprised at their speed.

Akuma was the first to react, yelling loudly, and then shooting a beam of fire at Zetsumi. It looked as it would hit, but then the dark figure moved slightly, letting the beam hit the ground just behind him. “Why won’t you just stand still and DIE!” His temper was already at its break point, and he flew in, Willow and Slater close behind, never letting a companion fight alone. Atlas and Calista looked at Vincent, then at each other, nodding and flying in to attack him. Atlas’ fist charged with a green aura, while Calista used her element to shoot small sparks ahead towards Vincent. The cloaked figure stood, waiting for the right moment to counterattack. When they were just three meters away, his whole body lurched and he put his two fists out, screaming profanities as they connected, a small implosion letting loose.

Meanwhile, the battle with Akuma, Willow and Slater against Zetsumi raged into the sky as blows were exchanged without warnings, the dark figure keeping up with each of the other three’s attacks. Akuma flew back a little, and charged up a fireball, quickly reaching a diameter of seven meters. He flew back in, and hit Zetsumi in the face, sending him back a little, and making their battle temporarily stop. “Wow, that actually hurt. I congratulate you. Now, its my turn…” Zetsumi put his hands together, and black lightning began to gather around his hands. He pulled them apart, and an aqua ball of energy emerged. He put it above his head, and soon, it reached the size of a football field. He smiled, and threw it at his three attackers.

Willow screamed to the other two, and soon they were next to each other, and placed their hands in a triangular shape, touching at the fingertips. They let off a scream of their own, and their elements merged, sending a beam of three colours towards the dark ball, threatening the planet that they were sworn to protect. The two energy powers hit with tremendous force, and began a struggle of force. The three Seraphs shot an extra boost of beam, but Zetsumi looked down at his orb, and it instantly overpowered the beam, destroying it and hitting the three, sending them to the ground with the force of a thousand train wrecks.

At the same time, Atlas and Calista struggled to gain ground against Vincent, the three individuals still joined at the fists, bolts coming off Calista. Suddenly, Vincent moved to the side, and the two Seraphs fell to the ground. They quickly bounced, and took their stances again. This time, it was Vincent’s turn to attack. He lunged at them, slightly lazily, and watched as they dodged, but smirked as a shadow of himself followed him, and hit both directly. Then, without giving them much chance to recover, lifted his leg into Calista’s stomach, after that quickly head butting Atlas, sending them into their other teammates.

“Ok, they’ve had their chance, now we stop playing games.” Willow muttered, while slowly getting to her feet, and watching as her companions followed, gathering in close. They began to mutter in another language, and soon an aura of their element appeared around each of them. They stood back in a single line, and looked at their opponents, a new hope of victory in their eyes. Vincent and Zetsumi moved together, holding their hands close to their sides, tightly bunched into fists, and awaiting the Seraphs to make their move.

After reaching their wanted power level, the five Seraphs moved with a tremendous amount of speed towards the two dark figures. They hit without resistance, sending them flying towards a large cliff. Whilst Vincent and Zetsumi hadn’t expected such a massive amount of change in their power, they quickly recuperated, and flew back at the five over powered Seraphs. Suddenly, they all disappeared. They moved faster than the eye could see, blows being seen all over the sky. This time, the groups stayed together, and supported each other where it was needed… the dark figures were losing…

Atop the cliff that Vincent and Zetsumi were sent at before, black smoke appeared, and as it dissipated, five more figures stood… Daemonia’s minions. They watched the battle, and saw Vincent slowing down, and taking more damage with each hit. They saw Zetsumi there also, but they weren’t too worried about him… he was expendable. All too quickly, Vincent and Zetsumi fell to the ground, and the five Seraphs were about to finish what they had come here to start. They stood in a circle, and the elemental auras around them merged, and were sent at their enemy. Now was the time to enter the battle for Daemonia’s minions.

It was won. The two dark figures were weak and the Judgement Beam was sent to finish the job. The five watched to see the little battle be won, but were abruptly disappointed. Five figures, all looking the same excluding their colours appeared, and blocked the attack. Vincent and Zetsumi were shocked, and wondered who would be able to stop something like this… The two figures got up, and then shimmered away, knowing that these new five could handle this job. The five Seraphs stood, also wondering who these five new figures were. Whoever they were, they were helping the dark side, so they must be destroyed.

But, before the Seraphs had a chance to charge these new figures, a black smoke appeared around them, and they disappeared. Once again, the dark side had managed to avoid destruction, and the battle around them had stopped… for now. Hopefully, they could come back soon, and finish what they had started. For now, they would return to Second Heaven and recuperate. They had to tell Goudias what had happened, and how they were stripped of their victory. They each flapped their wings, and with a mighty gust of wind, took off towards their desired route.
