no wonder the other staff were making fun of him

Is there a version that doesn't turn into a weird skirt? I thought they all did.

Here are the female versions of all the KH characters costumes, with more here. The bottom 10 are all unisex costumes.

KH3D Riku gets some nifty shorts at least.

Ah, not everything is turned into a skirt, thank god. I might consider using a female avatar for once if I get this game.

Very cool that more and more companies are not assigning articles of fabric, toys, etc. to gender binaries. More fun for everyone that way.

Re: Nomura on Unchained X: Co-Director Itou, Gender Switches in Customization

Nomura decided to go on a late night tweeting spree for whatever reason. Translations thanks to goldpanner, OP updated with screenshots as well <3

Next, you can choose one randomly displayed medal belonging to your partner. I may be lazy, but even I don't button mash through this part. Medals that me and my weak deck have never seen (other people's) come up, and that's rather important. In a way, relying on these just might be how I made it this far. @ Nomura

https://twitter.com/KHUX_PR/status/631825716036800512

Explaining it may make it seem rather time consuming, but in practice medal and Keyblade equipping is quick, simple and smooth enough that even lazy old me thought it was just fine. At last, select a quest and then next decide on a deck (Keyblade). I usually button mash through that. @ Nomura

Choose synthesis and a popup like the one on the setting screen will open, so drag one to the left and press synthesise to complete. Those who think that's a pain can hit 'auto' and the synthesis medals will be chosen for them. By the way, officially, they don't go by the title R (rare), we say star #. @ Nomura

https://twitter.com/KHUX_PR/status/631817221363240960

One of my most prized medals. I've selected my R (rare) Sora. With added skills, too. In rare cases medals exist that have added skills, and they have extra effects. You can see for yourself the added skill icons on the upper right of the medals on the setting screen I posted before, too. Medals have the potential to be synthesised and to evolve. @ Nomura

https://twitter.com/KHUX_PR/status/631813024798535680

Now that I think about it, I haven't explained the all-important medals. It's not that I was hesitating to show weak medals, you know! I have another open slot now, and I can set it by dragging one over from the right. I noticed that I have a lot of synthesis medals too, so how about I try some synthesis. @ Nomura

As you go through quests, occasionally a Raid Boss will appear and block your way. Even if you can't defeat it the first time, you can challenge it again and again while it has appeared. Despite this costing AP from the second time onward, it's actually a tasty opportunity as you can get various bonuses for defeating it. The points of strategy are whether to destroy parts of it or aim for the weak spots @ Nomura

https://twitter.com/KHUX_PR/status/631678457689190400

The final-version update has been decided upon, and as I was informed of the date my current data would be erased, my heart was breaking. I finally upgraded my Keyblade to Three Wishes. Unlocking the 4th slot made it change shape, too, and it got stronger than I thought it would. Well, it's going to get erased anyway. @ Nomura

As each Keyblade has different attribute enhancing slots, the key to strategising is the compatibility of the Keyblade, the deck and the quest. If you go along collecting materials and enhancing your Keyblade, you will unlock more slots. I have all the materials, maybe I'll just go ahead and make Last Resort? @ Nomura

Re: Nomura on Unchained X: Co-Director Itou, Gender Switches in Customization

He actually seems to like Unchained as a game that he not actively created (if he did, his character probably wouldn't be erased for the update, that seems like normal tester procedure), that's kind of reassuring.

It's also condemning the broswer [chi] more in my eyes, since he probably never touched this game before. I wonder what's his stance on the original Kingdom Hearts coded.

This is the most active Nomura's been with the KH community in like... months or maybe years. The hype for KHU is too real. :3

The date of the reset for testing was pushed to today rather than next week as expected, so Nomura is a little upset ^^a

Again, thanks to gp <3

Never really bothered giving a good look at the medals, but after I did I now kinda wish we could buy real, physical medals. They're snazzy.

Re: Nomura on Unchained X: Co-Director Itou, Gender Switches in Customization

Good morning. Yesterday we were bustling with III news from over the ocean, weren't we? Anyway, I managed to make it past the point I'd got up to in my deleted file. Until the service begins I will continue my introduction, but there's a place I want to get to first, so I'm currently waiting for my AP to regenerate. @ Nomura

He's so addicted to this game lol

I like how he sounds so indifferent to the big news from D23~

We're just going to be updating this thread with all of Nomura's tweets now considering how obsessed he is with this game lol

As always, credit to goldpanner for translations <3

I actually meant to tweet about added-skill medal synthesis yesterday, but I forgot to select overwrite on, and I forgot about the left side thing, and I panicked and rushed ahead forcing synthesis with low success rates… and... lost about 20 added-skill medals and got depressed from the shock. Sorry for tweeting so much in a row, but I definitely don't want you to make the same mistakes as me. @ Nomura

https://twitter.com/KHUX_PR/status/634921089223647232

Another reliable method would be to use this added-skill synthesis-use medal I got from the Coliseum the other day, Scrooge. With one of these, you get a synthesis rate of 100% without having to raise the level. But, despite all this I forgot to select overwrite on and lost my precious Scrooge medal… @ Nomura

https://twitter.com/KHUX_PR/status/634918270986940416

The success rate is higher when you are synthesising medals with the same added skill. As a test I looked at adding an added-skill five star level 20 medal, and the success rate went up to 75%, which gave my poor nerves a little relief. By the way, there is only a chance of the added skill being overwritten if it is set to the left. @ Nomura

https://twitter.com/KHUX_PR/status/634915685429215232

, synthesise medals with added skills and the level of the medal will go up. The result of raising a medal that had 20% at level 1 to level 51 will boost the success rate to 28%. Added skills are important, so that's still nerve-wracking. @ Nomura

https://twitter.com/KHUX_PR/status/634911797103869952

If you synthesise a medal with an added skill, you can choose whether to overwrite the skill or not. You will lose the skill if you synthesise it without choosing 'on'. Added skills are very important, but as you can see the success rate is 20%. Naturally, if it fails you lose the skill, so it's quite nerve-wracking. @ Nomura

To the left is my carefully nurtured, bound-with-memories rare 5 star medal. To the right is a rare 4 star medal I received recently, and ability-wise it is low-end, but it has an added skill. I'm currently agonising over whether to keep raising it or synthesise it with a high-end to apply its skill. @ Nomura

https://twitter.com/KHUX_PR/status/634904573497339904

Unlock the board with the coins you earn in the Coliseum to get rare medals. There are even medals with added skills like I mentioned before and medals for use in synthesis. There's also a Coliseum Ranking that's separate to the general ranking, so please try hard and get a place. @ Nomura

https://twitter.com/KHUX_PR/status/634208571589136384

In the Coliseum, each rank has has a different number of rounds, and if you clear all the rounds you will move up a rank. For this one, if I clear it in one turn turn then I'll get a shortcut on the number of rounds, so if I do well then I can go up a rank straight away. @ Nomura

https://twitter.com/KHUX_PR/status/634205168939110400

After a long hard road I finally, at long last, made it… It took so long… Make it through 130 quests and you will unlock the Coliseum. It's apparently designed so that getting this far will give you more new kinds of extra things to do. The rules in the Coliseum are a little different, so I'll explain them in a bit. @ Nomura

I can understand Nomura's shock, I've also lost quite a few skills in [chi] because I fused cards that still had some of them inbued and not just once.

From a gameplay perspective Unchained sounds like the more interesting game with every tweet, I'm hoping that there will be a journal for worlds, characters and enemies like in every other Kingdom Hearts game.

Interesting. I think this is the first time I have seen Nomura tweet, or to just use the social media.
Unchained is shaping up to be an rather interesting game. Don`t know I am able to get it when it comes, but I will follow this game. I am very curious to see what will happen to Ephemera.

He has tweeted before. First when T3B was coming out and they forced him to do some tweets. The second time was when they forced him to tweet for new KH releases. He voluntarily tweeted for DQ's anniversary. He's also voluntarily tweeting about Unchained X. This is pretty much the only time he's ever Tweeted this much though.

Aah, all right. Now that I start yo think about, I think I remember seeing that he also tweeted stuff about Versus a few years back. Maybe one they we will see the miracle of Nomura creating his own twitter account? :)

This may be a bit off-topic but do you think now that Nomura opened up to twitter (at least a bit) it's possible to send him some simple questions regarding the lore of Kingdom Hearts? He probably doesn't read the stuff on the KHUX channel though.

I mean, if we asked the same question as a huge group to the two accounts somebody would have to pass it up the chain. If he'd answer would be another thing entirely but I think if enough ruckus was made about the question he may be persuaded...
