Terra and Ventus Strategy For VS

Anyone know a good strategy to fight VS with Terra and Ventus? I used the mine trick with Aqua but I want to beat VS with Terra and Ven differently. Like, whats this about the meteor strategy with Terra? Can someone explain this to me? And lol, I dont want to use the rock. Terra is a real challenge too since he's so slow. Any strategies will be greatly appreciated. (No Mine tricks please.)

The Meteor strategy with Terra is using Mine Square/Shield and comboing him enough to get your Style Gauge up enough to use your "Devastator" finisher (should be Terra's last finisher you can unlock).
It grants wonderful i-frames and does a decent amount of damage towards VS, granted you hit him with it.

For Ventus you can use Torando immediately after his 3 hit X-slash combo (although sometimes he will teleport out of the way and insta kill you) in which case it'll take 2 Tornado's to kill him and 1 normal hit. If you don't like that strategy there's always hiding behind one of the rocks and spamming strike raid over and over again. As long as you've got nothing but strike raid's in your deck he won't move from the other side of the rock so you'll be able to spam it constantly for decent damage.
If that doesn't suit you either you always have the option of just spamming Mine Square/Shield and dodge roll/sliding over all of them so VS steadily takes damage cause it also works, granted you have a high magic damage keyblade (wouldn't recommend this for Terra though).

aside from the strategy,i notice that he kills me with one hit even though i have once more (terra),is that normal?

have you max out the command it was melded with?

YES
,and i've also gotten it multiple times through melding and im sure i switched it on from the menu,im at level 41

well i cant remember but once more and second chance, one keeps you alive thru a combo and the other does the same from massive damage.
try getting second chance to.

there aint nothing wrong with the cheap way, i didnt give a damn about VS because he isnt cannon, so i used the cheap way so i could get to MF

Only difference was i used wind raid instead

You know I for some reason got to play MF before fighting VS. I thought that was weird because everyone said the only way to fight MF is to beat VS. I was playing on Terra and noticed Land of Departure was on battle level 13 and I was like no way! And I got to fight MF. I dunno it was weird. Maybe its because I already beat VS and MF with Aqua? I dunno. anyone else encountered this?

You have to beat VS with only one character and after that MF is unlocked for everyone
