Creating bonds to save our world and bring peace
~Normatsu~

Staring at his rival, Normatsu stood unfazed by his words. He already knew how Daaku felt about him nor, did he truly care. As long as he got his fight then it was fine by him. As Daaku moved forward into his attack, Normatsu paid close attention. One could not face Daaku if they couldn't keep themselves composed. Once the punches came close, the Butcher dropped backwards. His right hand was placed on the ground, holding him upward. He was now being held up sideways. Kicking both legs outward, chakra was instilled within to each the overall power which upon contact would push out inorder to knock back actual contact like a shield.

The punches collided with Normatsu's kicks which canceled eachother out. The force though was enough to cause Normatsu to roll backwards and into a handstand, ending with him standing. His next move would have to count or else he might end up mush on the pavement. Before he could attack though, fireworks lit up the night sky. "Well Well Daaku. Looks as though our fun will have to end. Let's call a truce for now and proceed to the sidewalk and enjoy the parade." Normatsu stated as he walked backwards. He flipped off the stage with ease and made his way to the sidewalk. For several minutes of the parade and the Fuedal Lords showing their faces, Normatsu wasn't paying a lick of attention. His eyes were shut closed until he felt the mass presence of heightened chakra that wasn't his or Daaku or anyone else for that matter.

The Ten Tails itself had taken residence atop the biggest tower in Ame. It was funny that it would just show up now but, whatever the reason this was gonna be fun. Mini-bijuu creatures had dropped from it's body in a rather disgusting way. Pulling Vigilante from it's holster, the Heaven's Hand commander smirked. He held the sword in his left hand and his right hand in his pocket. Leaping high into the air, Normatsu came crashing down toward two of the creatures with hopes of fun.

~Arashi~

Looking up, Arashi only smiled at his friend Rayex. He had met him awhile ago but, they had never actually got the chance to hangout. His shoulder was still in pain but, nothing else really mattered as his mind was on Daaku. He needed to talk to the man and make sure it was his uncle. As Normatsu entered the arena and Dakku and Normatsu began fighting, Arashi was all eyes. He didn't let a single thing slip past him though the fight only lasted until the fireworks exploded into the air. The parade had begun quickly and the five lords made their face known. He didn't care since they were just pawns and figureheads for the Heaven's Hand. One day his blade would run through them and his family would feel vengence.

Things began to happen so fast as the Ten Tails appeared atop the largest tower in Ame. It was something about the creature that attracted him uopon setting his eyes on it. He didn't know what to do but, getting to the tower would be a step in the right direction. "Rayex, help me get to that tower. Idk why but, I just feel that I need to." Arashi stated as he unsheathed his wakizashi. He didn't know how he would get past the creatures but, nothing could stop him from getting to that tower.

~Renzaku~

The hyuuga gasped at the madness at hand. He had never seen something so enormous and disturbing in his life. He didn't know what to do but, people needed to be helped. One of the creatures had started attacking a group of innocents and Renzaku made a mad dash. Leaping forward, his pal connected with the creature's chest. It slid backwards while Renzaku took a stand before the people. Three more of the monsters attempted to garner an attack on Renzaku and the innocents. Their mouths gleamed with red light before a ball of chakra was launched forth. "Get back." Renzaku commanded. He began to spin rapidly as chakra was exerted. The heavenly spin was executed flawlessly, knocking away the creatures and their attacks.

His spin came to a halt and Renzaku got into a serious attack stance.

It was not a matter of how the Ten-tails appeared on top of the building, but of when. Yumei had some sort of a hunch that the current festival was running too well. Most bystanders did not notice its presence before the beast conjured up a few doppelgangers simply for destructive purposes. The speed and power that which each smaller copy possessed was nothing to be taken lightly. Heck, even the appearance of the enemy was threatening. An ebony body complimented with a crimson eye. Simply amazing.

[Act...FAST!]

The monsters poured from the Ten-tails like a fountain. A fountain in which a massive amount of chakra infused beasts were residing from. A seemingly endless number, nothing a few slashes could not take care of. Trapped in a dense crowd of bodies, Yumei raised his left hand and grasped the hilt of his Kiku-Ichimonji and raced toward a specific bijuu at an alarming pace. In fact, each step conjured enough force and chakra beneath them that the concrete beneath his feat unearthed. The pursuit angle was an awkward one in that the bijuu was not at all focused on Yumei, but on a specific target. It did not take long by any means before the man had obstructed the beasts path; blade drawn.

The beast did not halt its movements however. Crashing head-first into Yumei's body sent him flying backward, colliding into a relatively young boy. A teenager at that. The collision was not too bad in the sense that the only noticeable bruise was that on Yumei's bicep. It was not wise to take one of these things on individually but the source was overwhelming. And that's where he needed to be; the top of that building. Anything to stop the riot that was happening.

Old legends suggested that the Ten-tails had ceased to exist...There was no telling who, what, or how it mysteriously formed into being. Especially in a convenient place such as the festival to wreck havoc. But those thoughts need not be in process right now. First and foremost, the beast in front of Yumei and the boy had to be taken care of. The miscellaneous townspeople fled the scene leaving only those two in the immediate area. Of course some other brave souls also made their presence known.

"On your feet if you want to live, kid." Yumei's eyes still directed at the beast as he made the statement.

Those same eyes narrowed as a blue circle encompassed the base of Yumei's feet. The swirl of chakra grew larger and larger until the waves swirled up to the swordsman's chest. A remarkable sight. The bluish hue reflected off the surroundings causing a somewhat heavenly feeling. The beast would waste no more time however. An extremely loud roar pierced the air. Still, Yumei held his concentration as given way by the constant flow of chakra. The ruby eyes narrowed even more giving him a slight perception of tunnel vision.

The beast was already in the process of gathering energy at the base of its mouth creating a crimson sphere. Surely this was not in the best interest of the two. The sphere grew larger and larger with each passing moment. Now was the time to act. The wave of chakra dismissed itself as two shadow clones were conjured simply from the air. It almost seemed as if it was an effortless maneuver. The two clones blurred only leaving a slightly visibly puff of air behind. The original Yumei stood in front of the boy only hoping that he regained his composure in the past few moments.

"Brace yourself," With that said the ball of chakra was fired in the direction of the two. Yumei stood confidently before giving the air a quick upwards slash and again sheathing his blade. He's expect anyone to be rather confused at the gesture. Turning to avoid any debris flying in his face, the sphere halted in its place but still with the intent of charging forward. Whirling with no forseeable end, churning and churning creating small crater in the plaza. Finally the sphere diminished into nothing.

"Now."

The two clones reverted in close proximity to the beast one behind and the other falling from above. Knocking the beast into the air with the sheath of his blade. The extreme burst of chakra from the attack caused the clone to disperse into thin air. The other, above, had his blade already drawn. A flurry of two quick slashes resembling an 'X' sent the beast back down with incredible force. The force of the impact disrupted the idleness of Yumei's coattails. "One down."

From his position, Yumei eyed the top of the tower only hoping that he could avoid any kind of catastrophe on the way. Turning back to the boy his emotionless face called out. "Two options: come with me with guaranteed safety, or turn tail and run...only hoping your fear isn't snuffed out. Let me tell you; it reeks."

~~~~
"Afternoon: ruined" The teenager complained.
It was no use in using her Alpha Suit in this area. The environment wound honestly not be able to handle it. Tessa looked through the scattering civilians trying to locate Koete, Koniru or Normatsu. No where to be found. Save for Normatsu who was having an unusual amount of fun with the situation. Tessa gave herself a facepalm yet smiled under the action. "So unprofessional," she announced to no one in particular. First priority, take these things out without anyone severely injured or worse.
Letting out a harsh breath, Tessa's ruby eyes slowly molded into the bright emerald ones signifying her kekkai being activated. An outward thrust of her right hand and five ethereal blades came into formation with the sixth summoned to her hand. Of course the blades would not be one hundred percent without her suit on but that was a chance she was willing to take. Running her off hand through her hair a feeling of responsibility deemed over her consciousness.
"Ahem!"
The blades disappeared into a field before emerging again in a flash of light through the body of one of the nearby copies. Essentially Tessa could fight without moving a step, but who would want to miss out on a chance to see the Ten-tails up close and personal? Of course she would not miss this chance for the world. But upon seeing the beast she knew an extensive write-up would have to follow suit. Tessa pondered over this by placing a single finger on her chin all the wile her blades flashing at a ludicrous speed almost resembling that of a light show. 'Eh, I think it's worth the ten pages'
Making sure no one was around in the immediate area, Tessa dismissed her blades and jolted into a light sprint towards the skyscraper. Seeing Normatsu on the way to the tower almost makes her wonder who else is making their way towards the tower. Sure enough she would not be the first to make it up one hundred plus levels. But in her eyes it cannot be helped. Sure she may run into more clones on the way, but The Hand did not make her a ranking commander for no reason.
This clearly what they had anticipated. Kishain stared in awe on the gigantic ten tailed creature wreaking havoc at the festival on top on the highest building. His body began to shake as creatures began to form off of it and attack the civilians, he never knew fear like this before. Everything around him: The glass chattering, women screaming, hand members crying out in pain as they are defeated easily seemed to fade out and he began to hear a voice calling him.
Closer
Move closer……..
His body stuck in place with clear signs that fear had taken over it. A hand member jumped in front of Kishain trying to help out but one of the creatures that formed from the bigger one swiped him away in a second.
It stared at him with its clear white eyes, he could feel its hot rough breath breathing on him.
Move……move!!
But it was too late the creature moved him for Kishain. Shane was knocked high into the air and was closing in fast on the building the ten tailed beast wreaked havoc upon. He landed in the building unconscious but soon awoke after several minutes.
If I hadn’t used my chakra to cushion the landing I surely would’ve been dead, or my injures would've been more severe.
He turned to see a blurry staircase.
Go to the top Kishain, you will soon possess a power like no other.
The voices wouldn’t stop even after he passed out again, he had no other choice. He would have to go to the top and gain the power to end this…..if he made it there.
Kishain began climbing the steps, only 4 more floors to go.
Normatsu being able to easily get out of Daaku's strikes didn't surprise or upset him in the least. He just noted that like everybody else black light had still been forced into both legs while Normatsu had countered. That was enough for the time being as the parade started and the two men parted ways but didn't separate too far because of the crowd. About 3/4 through the event a large chakra began to manifest itself before the masses and at once the sense got to Daaku. He hadn't expected that after so many years something like this would happen, not when everyone was still so far back from the responsiveness that what would happen called for.
The chakra was immense and it reminded Daaku of what had happened years before, the same kind of thing that resulted in both Rayex and his daughter Ayumi losing their lives...
"No. Not this....not again and not here." It was a sad tale to follow as both of Daaku's eyes saw what was happening. The ten tails was atop the tower; the city able to witness firsthand all the chakra massive and fluctuating even while pieces of it broke off and splattered on the ground. These blobs of chakra took shape and formed humanoid figures that were basic copies of the force from the tower. This meant trouble. No reason and no feelings were held within these beasts that were attacking So Daaku didn't need to worry about the humanity he'd possibly be destroying.
"Please. This is old news to me. Get back!!!" Daaku yelled at the crowd nearest his person and jumped forward. Then twisted around a lunge from an incoming chakra beast to strike it in the back several times. This was simple and when the beast once again attacked Daaku ducked out of the way, punching the bijuu in the chest. He'd chained more than six masses of black light and that was enough for ignition. The monster was sent hurtling backward and was met with a nursing from Daaku.
The explosion engulfed another tailed chakra copy which got beheaded when Daaku ran past, using The smoke still lingering from his jutsu as a small cover. "This isn't how I planned to spend the night either."
The tower loomed ahead and he wasn't the only one to move toward the same spot. The only difference Daaku saw was while he could use Firuta and move from one location to another with out pause...others did not have the same talent.
"Nobody needs a show-off. If the chakra beasts had more intelligence it would be different." Daaku moved faster toward the tower, even noticing Normatsu on the way there. "He better not play around with these things so we can get to the bottom of this." There was no time for games. This logic was even more definable merely with the appearance of the ten tailed beast.
~~~~~

It had been bad enough being squeezed in between a puppet and the obvious enemy and then some other random guy in the heat of the night but now things had taken a drastic change. "This is interesting." Even if the festival and parade had been fun while it lasted the entrance of the ten tailed beast was a lot more excitement to come. Sure many people could end up dead in an event of such disastrous magnitude, however Date saw it as a chance to have fun and protect those in need if his ability as a ninja allowed it. Another youth had already taken out the tailed creature attacking a boy that had been completely terrified.

"Too bad the kid needs work it looks like. Maybe he'll stay alive and make it out of this intact. I'd like to think that'll be the outcome."

The skyscraper tower at the near heart of the city seemed to be a good place to find answers, "Of course there's not a chance it would be that easy." Date said this as he looked upon two more bijuu that had dropped down in his path that was only a few blocks from the tower. Both eyes already monitored the movement each beast was to take and even a rapid attack from both beasts at once was parried and came out with Date unscathed.

Slashes were all over each of the bijuu...their lengths burning with white fore that spread quickly over the monsters while they roared and reached out, burning down into ashes after only a short time. Daaku flew by and nodded to his second in command of the company which got a laugh in return.

"To guys like us these things are a joke. I'll just not to over do it and burn out my chakra before it's really needed."

Koniru watched as the petals rained down, the band's piece and the mini-play that served as the Lord's entrance. As they dispatched the ninja, a mocking laugh escaped before he could hold it in. "HA! They want to show they took care of the ninja!? I would love to see them try and take out just one! It's people like me that did all of the work, those lazy, arrogant, lying-" Before he could finish his rant, which he was instantly sorry for saying out loud, he felt the massive chakra that made his eyes instantly dart around, trying to find the source. Well, he did. And he was sorry it was him that had to do something about the massive creature that rampaged only the longest of times ago.

Reaching back into his cloak for the scroll containing Aracni with his left hand, he ripped off the cloak with his over. By the time he unraveled the scroll and laid it down on the ground, Solo already proved Koniru's reason of suspicion by shooting off chakra at the segment of the Ten Tails that was staring at them. A hand placement and release of chakra later, Aracni and Koneru were there in front of their master. Disconnecting their limbs and sending them into the no-tail, he preformed one of his designed-to-be-lethal techniques. “Puppet Execution: Seventeen Spears of Heaven!” It was a gruesome sight, two of the spikes stuck directly in what used to be its eye., but nothing that he hasn't seen the likes of before.

Returning the limbs, Koniru walked over to the sludge and decided it wouldn’t be a problem to anyone anytime soon. He looked over his shoulder and examined Solo and Kenshi. “Well, I’d deal with you, but fortunately Kenshi right here can do that for me. Oh, and Kenshi, I call trying to see what I can do about the giant monster up there, so good luck with this guy, Try not to die, and…uh…yeah.” With a few finger movements, Aracni opened up and was used to store Koneru in and then sealed back up. Walking over to the puppet and sitting down on it, he manipulated its legs to crawl across the ground towards the skyscraper. Passing by various hand members trying to subdue the off-spring rather than deal with the source, a sigh was let out once again. “I seriously hate my job. If I’m fighting things like that, I better get a raise. Maybe even a promotion. Yeah, definitely a promotion. You don’t see most people at my rank fighting the ten-tails, do you?” As Aracni now scaled the skyscraper, Koniru was reminded of his lack of actual company. “A sidekick wouldn’t be too bad either.”

The dark sky reflected how Koete was feeling about the parade starting after such an annoying day that had passed. She didn't care for any of the loud noise or screaming and as usual the feudal lords were running their mouths off the hook and acting as if it was they whom had the power to change the world, that they were the ones who had fought to defeat the ninja whom were supposedly plaguing everyone's minds and causing so much trouble.

"Those bastards, I hate hearing this trash year after year, thank God its only one day that it really gets this serious."

It was completely a coincidence that things had gotten a lot more serious than men lying to the populace about their fabled power, as the Ten tailed beast had appeared randomly and without warning, sending the people around into a panic that had never been seen before. Koete thought it was funny but saw that the seriousness of what was happening wasn't something to laugh it, it needed to be taken care of immediately.

Some of the other members of the hand she'd already picked out and they could handle themselves and do what was needed so until this was over, Koete wanted to have some fun and kill as many of these chakra creatures as possible.

Her mindset was still a lazy one so it conflicted with how much effort this was all going to consume. Koete looked up and turned around to impale one such copy of the ten tails that Renzaku had apparently just knocked back. The best started to break up as Koete rammed her wing into its particle state and shredded the creature as chakra flowed through it.

"Get it in gear Renzaku, they're regrouping, take em out quick before we end up surrounded by the ones still coming from the Ten tails on the tower."

Two of the beasts moved in for the kill and Koete opened her eye wide, causing a deep red chakra to seep from around her body, this was a concentration of dark chakra that Koete used as a vortex to surround her body, even as the beasts struck her over and over, nothing happened as the chakra they hit merely began to fuse into their malleable chakratic forms which Koete had planned. The chakra had all at that point been absorbed into the chakra replications of the ten tails and both once again struck out toward Koete.

Both of them exploded..."Oops." No doubt that Renzaku had seen why the beasts blew up but there were still three more to be disposed of. "Not a chance bitch," Koete punched a chakra beast in the face, but her hand got stuck and began to be affected by the chakra that burst in a spasm around it. "What the hell is this?? Get off me!!!" Another of her wings snapped around and jammed into the creatures forehead right above where her hand had been stuck.

This resulted in a thousand kunai taering into the creature and been sent flying off into other chakra beasts..."Come Ren, do I have to kill them all!?!?!"

Kamenoko

The man sat in the booth, holding his head in his hands. He felt an immense pain between his eyes, a icy numbing sensation. "B-brain freeze." "I think you've had enough........" said the same waitress who had been serving him for the past half hour. Kamenoko sighed, standing up. "Thank you for the excellent food and service." And with that he left, continuing his pointless journey around the festival. He managed to see the end of the parade. It didn't amaze him much, he always stood neutral on the Coalition v.s. Users battle. He only cared if innocents were hurt.

Suddenly he felt an immense pressure. He stood, frozen in fear, when a ear piercing roar came over the festival. Oki turned to see the source of the sound, a gigantic black beast, with a large red eye, and ten tails. "That thing is huge....." It sat on the tallest building, Yashirodono. Pieces of it began to drip down, falling among the people bellow. They began taking shape, looking like the original on the tower, only smaller and without tails. People began to scream and run, afraid of whatever this creature was. Oki however, was frozen, not a bone in his body would move. He heard a low growling and turned to see one of the miniature beasts stalking up behind him. Damn..... he thought, as the creature leaped at him.

Kenshi

"Hey dude, watch out!!!!" Kenshi shouted pushing the younger man (Kamenoko) out of the way. He colided with the creatures midsection, tackling it. It snarled at him, struggling to get up. "Just when I thought that I would have a day off, you things decided to show up." He began punching the thing in the face repeatedly, until the thing slowly turned into an ooze. He stood and walked over to the guy (Kamenoko). "You alright man?" "Yeah, I'm fine." The guy stood and brushed himself off.

"Hey Solo," He walked over to the other man and placed a hand on his shoulder. "Okay, listen. I could lose my job and or life for this, but I'm gonna let you go. Clearly there's a lot of commotion and I don't want to babysit. Not to say your not worth my time, but something more important just came up. Just take care of that guy, and if they ask what happened I'll say you escaped." He pointed over to Kamenoko. "I need to make sure these people get away." He ran off, through the running people. He took the chains off his waist and wrapped them around his hands.

Taro couldn't believe it. He was alive. This man had saved him. So much power. Taro watched in awe as this guy dispatched the monster with ease. With the techniques he used that surpassed what even the strongest 'Verse' could create, the boy knew that this man was a ninja. Young Murakami shuddered at the thought. He was slowly bringing himself to his feet when the crimson eyed man called out:

"Two options: come with me with guaranteed safety, or turn tail and run...only hoping your fear isn't snuffed out. Let me tell you; it reeks."

"But...you're a ninja! You're probably the reason he's here in the first place!" While he yelled, Taro's voice was trembling. "All ninja are scum, they're monsters. I'll never follow you." To a boy brought up in a Coalition controlled household, it was only right that he harbored such a prejudice of the boogymen known a shinobi. Just then though, three more of those black...things appeared. They were closing in fast. Taro bit his lip. In one corner, he had this red eyed ninja--and on the other...these thoughtless beasts.

"Ahhh! Fine!" The youth roared in frustration. "Canti!" Taro tossed a small yellow object on the ground. With flash, his trusty hover board appeared. In full form, the device levitated only a foot off the ground. It waited for its pilot to grace its deck.

"Get on!"

This man must have known somewhere safe. After all. Ninja were skilled at hiding...right?

* * *

Solo just watched as he got 'captured' and then 'freed'. The two men he were traveling with ended up being Hand soldiers, and, as their duty called, they went to protect the citizens. This new guy he was with though...there was something familiar about him. The moment Solo noticed that cybernetic eye it hit him.

"Oki!"

Oki was a night watch guard in the R&D Branch, much like Solo. They worked a few jobs together, but he hadn't had contact with the guy since he...'left'. The bespectacled wanderer grinned. "Long time no see...I wish we were under better circumstances though." He looked toward the tower where the Juubi was sitting pretty. The monster's head rocked side to side as if the screams of the townsfolk were music to its ears.

The Kuzunoha clan were said to have kept Tailed Beasts as pets in the days of old. If their blood truly ran through him as his father said...maybe he was meant to fight this thing.

Destiny. Or some shit. Right?

"Princess give me strength." Solo muttered. He gently stroked the tattoo on his forearm. "Oki...i'm going to that tower. You're coming with, right?" He didn't give his ex-coworker any chance to reply, and just headed for the sky scraper. There were Wing troops fighting in the sky--apparently the Ten Tails had created winged spawn as well. The soldiers piloted small gravity defying air bikes. One soldier was swatted off of his vehicle. The thing landed, mildly unscathed a short jog from Solo. The soldier wasn't so lucky though.

It gave him an idea.

"Heh..."

Koniru was already high enough to find himself inside the battle that was taking place mid-air. Switching direction and driving Aracni inside the building through of of the many openings made by the ten tail's roar. They can have wings? Serriously? This is starting to be a bit unfair now. I mean, wings? After standing up and brushing off some glass, he reached down to pull out the pieces of Hotei, along with the normal ammo for it. He took a moment to look over the pieces, deciding he might replace it with something he made himself, and carried on to assemble the rifle. I suppose I'll leave the higher-up's to take care of one-eye up there, someone like Koete or Normastu might be able to make a dent in it, and help save the ignorant, mostly defenseless and panicking citizens instead.

A very nice shot that hit the center of the eye sent one of the winged spawns down to the ground, while another merely made a hole in another, the survivor showing no signs of slowing down it's attack on a fellow hand member. Well, that wasn't as effective as I expected. Figuring he wouldn't be much use in the air, Koniru swiftly took apart the gun, stored it away, and took control of Aracni again. Patting it's lifeless back, he directed it towards the edge of the floor in with a flurry of legs, and launched it into the air. It was a relatively small jump form the skyscraper to the building he landed on, but he could still feel the force shake through the puppet. He took a second to reach inside his cloak, both for Aracni's scroll and Zen's condensed form, before sealing up the metal tool and taking control of Koneru instead with his free left hand.

Taking off the cloak completely, and with a roll of his shoulders, Koniru extended Zen in it's basic staff form, and infused the weapon with chakra to sprout a blade from the top, effectively making it into a spear for the moment. Another jump landed him back at the ground again, though in a surprisingly quiet area. Well, quiet until a crowd ran in, pursued by two of the spawns, their screaming taking away that description. Koneru's limbs all detached, spikes ready, and circled around one of the beats while his master slapped the spear down on the other, letting the group of civilians get away. While the spikes continued to spin around beast #1, faster and faster, beast #2 jumped up and slashed at Koniru, and even through he was able to raise up the spear in time for a block, he was pushed back quite a bit.

A side-ways swipe knocked the creature over, and a downwards thrust ended it. The bits of Koneru were spinning fastly enough now for the technique. "Execution: Heaven's Saw!" The blades closed in on the beast, and living up to the technique's purpose, the spawnling joined its sibling as a pile of sludge. Thinking about the tournaments held on the outer part of the city, Koniru made his way towaards the center after reassembling Koneru, letting the challengers deal with whatever came their way and instead focusing on those who couldn't take care of themselves. Well, as long as people don't try to take care of these by themselves, they should be alright if they are sensible enough to get as far away as possible. I wonder what the other Hand members are doing...
