Tailed Beast Blues: A Naruto Roleplay

A single amber light glows from the burning tip of the cigarette that a tall man smokes. The light of this vice cuts through the thick, musty darkness that he wades through. Determined, vigilant, he delves deeper and deeper into these fallen halls. Though mostly ruined beyond recognition, most of these hallways bear one resemblance: a symbol. This symbol which resembled a leaf was displayed proudly in each room of the complex. Records say that this was the symbol of the once proud ninja village of Konoha.

Back then...Konoha was one of the strongest villages around. But now...

There was no time to waste. He had a job to do after all. The man carried on, down the winding hallways of the complex until finally, he came to a stop at a set of wooden double doors. Etched onto the doorway was 'Hokage-Sama'. He pushed them open and they swung forward on their hinges with a loud, rusty creek. Vigilance, Determination, all faded the moment he laid eyes on a massive man that sat at the bug chewed desk of the Hokage. Coarse looking brown skin, with a gigantic afro, thick beard, and a pair of orange colored shades--he was something else, to say the least.

The one with the afro cracked a smile and kicked his feet up on the desk. "Lookin' for somethin', youth?" From his lap the man playfully waved a thick, tattered book. The cigarette fell from the first man's mouth and ashed against the ground. "I know what this means to you people...so...I'll make you a deal. Spark me up another one of those boys and I'll tell you everything. ...Deal?" With an impish smile, and giant hand extended, the man looked like the devil himself.

"...Deal."

Afro nodded. "Alright then. Let's start from the beginning, shall we?"

Tailed Beast Blues
A NarutoRoleplay​

In the beginning, there were Ninja. Ninja were the arm of the Feudal Lords, and the protectors of the people. Armed with powerful and mystical techniques called Jutsu the Ninja carried out many a mission for the world's people. The Ninja had a leader themselves of course, and they were known as the Kages. The Ninja were strong, but the Kages...whoo boy. Five nations, Fire, Water, Earth, and Wind, and Five Kages. They were damn near Godly.

Sometimes though, youth, even Gods fall.

For centuries, the world was like this. It was the Age Of Ninja, and no one had any complaints. That was, no one had any complaints except for the Feudal Lords. At some point the Lords began to meet in secret. During these secret meetings each Lord discussed the times, and each one had the same thing to say: The Ninja were too powerful. Each Lord feared the power of the Kages and their soldiers would become uncontrollable in time. They feared a coup by the Ninja. And that was how it began. The Purge.

Every Ninja was branded as a traitor to their Nation, charged with attempted seizure of the Feudal Lords' seat. Ninja were hunted by the Royal Guard, who had aligned with the Samurai of The Land Of Iron in their pursuits. All Ninja who did not agree to align with The Feudal Lords were killed on sight. The people that the Ninja had sword to protect turned on them without hesitation, branded as murderers and monsters. The Purge lasted for three years. The soil of the lands had never been so red.

To end the bloodshed, the Kages came together. The realized that even if they fought off all their foes and took control from the Lords, the people would not accept them. Surrender was their only option. So, to end the three year Purge, the Kages offered their lives. Executed on live broadcast, the denizens of the world cheered as the heads of their once adored protectors were severed. The Age Of Ninja was over.

That, youth, was 300 years ago.

Today, the Feudal Lords retain their power. Calling themselves the Divine Coalition the five Lords maintain a strong alliance between nations. The chief goal of the coalition is maintaining order and peace, by any means [even if that means restricting your personal freedoms in the process]. The Coalition is all too adamant about security, and over the course of the 300 year 'calm', they've taken several steps to show that.

ID Brands. Wretched little things designed by the Coalition's Research & Development Group. They're bar code style tattoos placed on a newborn's wrist. These tattoos hold the total identity of a person, they're family, location, occupation, everything is monitored by the Coalition from this very thing. Using the Brands, the Coalition can keep track of everything going on in their little bubble, and know the minute something is out of whack.

There are some out there that have found ways around the Brands, modifiers to the code, or even ways to get rid of them entirely. To deal with them, and other criminals, the Coalition has formed Heaven's Hand. These highly trained soldiers are outfitted with advance tech in order to defeat their opponents, and again 'maintain peace'. On paper, The Hand is the Coalition's military force. A shadow of the Royal Guard of old. They protect and serve. However, there is a much more violent duty of the The Hand: Ninja eradication.

Despite the outlaw of ninjutsu and extermination of the order, practitioners still exist today. We call them 'Users Of The Way', and they're public enemy No. 1 of the Coalition. They survive the old masters by continuing to practice their techniques. Most of these people live in isolation, away from the Coalition controlled cities. Some possess huge bounties, and live life on the lamb.

"But there's more! There has to be!" The first man hollered. Afro nodded.

"Of course there's more. Everything till here you already knew, right?" He got up from the old chair and turned his back to the other man. Afro looked out the large glassless windows behind him to the ruined village. "The Kages didn't just lay their lives down without a fight. Nah youth, they had a plan." He flicked the finished cigarette out through the window.

Gray smoke lingered around him...

The Tailed Beasts. All nine of em' were placed into special seals. At the same time, the strongest members of nine different clans were chosen to be imprinted with the same style seal. What was so special about these two seals were that they could last for centuries. Time would pass, and with each generation, one descendant of the nine clans would succeed the seal. The plan was to have the seals of the Tailed Beats to shatter at a certain point. This meant that the Ten Tails, the Juubi would be reborn--a terrible thing no matter how you look at it.

But the Kages were wise. The seals of the nine clans would react the the revival of the Juubi. With activation, the nine different seals would pull the Ten Tails apart, back into its previous nine forms. The nine clan descendants would then become Jinchuuriki. Yes, they would be hunted by The Hand. Yes, they would no doubt live a life of struggle, just as the Jinchuuriki of old. But it was the Kages' belief that these nine would act as the catalyst for the rebirth of Ninja, and usher in a new age for the Way.

"But...what if they don't?"

"It's the Jinchuuriki's choice to use their power as they see fit. You knew that much, right Nine-Tails?"

The man smirked. "Indeed...I did."

You There! - Character Sheets, Jutsu use, Etc.​

Naruto roleplays always face the issue of character progression, and how to keep up with Jutsu. I've seen it done a number of different ways, some worked, and some didn't. Hopefully the way i'm trying it here will fall into the first category. Each character type will progress and start out in strength differently.

Jinchuuriki

The true scions of the Ninja Order, and the harbingers of their rebirth. Characters who are Jinchuuriki start from bare minimum in terms of skill. Sure, they may know their way around a weapon, and actually be formidable against normal, non-ninja or Hand opponents, but for the most part, they're weak. The path is all about progression, and mastering your new power.

During template creation, those making a Jinchuuriki will select three Natures [the third of which will be locked until they are in total sync with the Tailed Beast i.e. like Killer Bee & 8 Tails], and three starting Jutsu [E-C rank, one C Max].


At a certain point in the beginning of the roleplay, all Jinchuuriki will 'awaken'. This means the Juubi has been split back into its nine forms, and the characters have officially become Jinchuuriki. At that point they will gain access to their first three Jutsu. Although Jinchuuriki can improve their starting three Jutsu [C level water skill turns to B level water skill], their max number cannot increase without a little extra help. This help comes in the form of Masters. Masters are what really helps Jinchuuriki grow.

Masters are Users Of The Way that are extremely skilled at a certain style. Such as Jiraiya with Sage Mode, or Tsunade with Medical Jutsu. Studying under a master is the only way a Jinchuuriki can expand their arsenal of Jutsu and techniques. A Jinchuuriki can study under up to three different masters. Tutelage is handled by number of posts, each number is different for each master. The more posts you dedicate to a master, the stronger techniques you learn. They don't have to all be done at once, you can learn little by little.

I'm working on a list of stock masters as we speak. But it would be ideal for you guys to come up with your own masters. Just run them by me before hand.

This is much more traditional in terms of Growth. Users Of The Way are those who have discovered the old arts of the ninja. They live life on the run from The Hand.
Users start with six different Jutsu [E-A rank 1 A rank MAX] this number can expand to 8 over time, and low rank techniques can evolve into higher ranks. Users are aloud two Chakra Natures max.

Heaven's Hand

Spoiler Show

Members of The Hand are masters of Sealing Jutsu. The Seals they use are specially developed to damage a Ninja's ability to manifest and control chakra [similar to the Hyuuga Gentle-Fist]. In addition to their Sealing Jutsu, The Hand have access to 'Verses'. These are scrolls that act like artificial forms of various elemental Jutsu, albeit they're much weaker than the real stuff and require and can only be used once per battle. The tools in the Hand arsenal range from heat/night vision goggles, guns, to heavy armor. They're the ultimate Anti-Ninja Force.

Each member of The Hand will have the 'Divine's Blessing' and 'Heaven's Embrace' techniques from the start. Divine's Blessing grants the character the innate ability to drain Chakra with each direct hit [must be delivered by hand]. Heaven's Embrace is the ability for the character to create a cloak of defensive Chakra around themselves. This cloak absorbs all Chakra based attacks for two posts. Afterwards, the user is left completely exhausted.

Characters that are members of The Hand don't exactly grow in strength. Instead, their arsenal of the character grows. At the start, a Heaven's Hand aligned character can choose up to six different pieces of equipment, this includes Verses.

There are several different divisions of The Hand.

• The Foot - Your normal footsoldiers, patrol all Coalition controled cities. They're like police officers.
• The Eye - Soldiers specially outfitted for pursuit. Deployed all around Coalition space and have no set station.
• The Wing - Take to the sky in fighter class airships. Constantly patrol the skies for any dangers.
• The Arm - The elite. The badasses. Soldiers who have proven themselves to be the best of the best. They may lead full squads or work solo. They are deployed all around the world.

Once Upon A Time

At the start of the roleplay, the Coalition is celebrating the three-hundred year anniversary of their founding. A grand festival is being held on this night with a parade, music, food, and all together merriment at the Coalition's capital. Your character, whomever they may be, will come here. For this is where their destiny will unfold.

The Rules

   1. Keep it funky. Be respectable to other players. Your character can be an ass. But you can't.
   
   2. When it comes to combat, make it 'realistic'. You can't dodge everything bro.
   
   3. Be active. For this thing to work, we all have to stay in communication and maintain regular posting.

The world has undergone countless changes since the Age Of Ninja. This guide is here to help you, 'youth', to get accustomed to things, first as an overview, and then nation by nation.

Worldwide

The overall standard of living has been overhauled. The typical home is outfitted with televisions, multiple floors, the whole nine yards. The wood and stone structures that populated the old world are gone, replaced with steel behemoths. Skyscrapers and smoke have replaced the amber skylines of 300 years ago.

A worldwide transit system connects the nations and their capitals [The former Hidden Villages]. The transit, dubbed Izanagi is an automated set of trains, and its tracks reach high above the old dirt paths. Down below the transit, plenty of dangerous creatures inhabit the paths that some fools still dare to travel. The railway has been nicknamed The Celestial Way for the tracks' beautiful multicolored, fluorescent lights.

The world's capital is the former Land Of Rain, Ame. It's been turned into a utopia of sorts since it's gloomy skies have cleared up [it still rains, but its oddly ever sunny now]. Tall, ivory colored buildings, and clean, wide roads populate the city.

The Divine Coalition is law. They use their unrivaled influence to spread whatever propaganda they see as advantageous to their continued control. Parents tell children stories about ninja-boogymen to encourage them to do right. Through all this control [ID Bands, Propaganda] not many are actually unhappy with the Coalition. Their rule doesn't directly interfere with their every day life, nor do they feel oppressed. It is a time of peace and bliss.

Well, until now.

The Land Of Fire

Feudal Lord: Tenzo Aiya XV

Still one of the largest nations in the world, the Land Of Fire has shed its green image. Gone are the forests of old, in their place now stand enormous, grand skyscrapers and suspended railways. The Land Of Fire is the second most industrialized nation in today's world, and is the chief manufacturer of its products. The Land Of Fire also has the biggest difference between its poor and its rich. Several slums are littered throughout the nation, where townsfolk live in rags and rundown tenements.

The Land Of Fire is the only Nation to have moved its capital away from the old Hidden Village. Tenzo Aiya VIII oversaw the construction of New Konoha. The largest city in the world, New Konoha has several sectors, each one more illustrious than the last. It's the new world's city of lights and life.

The Land Of Wind

Feudal Lord: Mai Kida

The Wind Country is still known for its harsh deserts and tall mountain ranges. Izanagi, and new motorcycle-like vehicles known as Sand-Skippers serve to make traversing the extensive desert a much easier task that it used to be. The architecture of the Wind Country adopts a hybrid of steam-punk and Buddhist. Temple-like towers will have giant pipes protruding from them, or smoke billowing from random spaces around them.

The nation's capital Suna is housed inside a gigantic stone Buddhist Monk head. Its been said that the head is a remnant from The Purge. A group of sand manipulating Ninja came together to drop it on their enemies. The lights multitude of lights shine out of the eyes, ears, and mouth of the head.

The Land Of Earth

Covered in craggy, mountainous regions, its still a task getting around Earth Country. However, several innovations have made The Land Of Earth much more accessible. Izanagi runs wide throughout this country. Earth is the only nation that has railways connecting each and every city. In the capital, Izanagi is accompanied by a shuttle system strewn about the numerous skyscrapers that make up Iwa. The shuttles are circular vehicles that travel through various tubes that connect different important points of the city.

The Land Of Lightning

Still vast, and just as dangerous, The Land Of Lightning retains its diverse geography. The architects of this Land have grown obsessed with glass since the Coalition took control. As a result, tall glass structures and buildings are not a rare commodity. The Lightning Country was the first country to invent flying machines. These take a variety of forms, from planes [they look similar

] to blimps. It's only right that flight be the most common means of transportation in this Country.

The Land Of Water

Feudal Lord: Izuna Ebihara

Capital: Kiri

This chain of islands is the most technologically advanced nation in the world. Although the smaller islands remain largely primitive by standards of today, the main island where its capital resides is worlds ahead the other countries.

Sail through the thick mist, and your ship will run into a giant mass of steel and glass. This massive thing is the giant dome that surrounds the island city Kiri: The headquarters of Feudal Lord Izuna and her Research & Development Group. Kiri is a city straight out of a science fiction story. Flashing fluorescent lights, robots, and moving sidewalks abound. All of this tech comes at a price however.

Kiri is the strictest nation in the Coalition's rule. The R&D Group uses its inhabitants for a number of experiments, and their mind control level of influence keeps the people from saying a word.

The Eight Tails

Personality:

Taro is soft spoken, and rather refrain from confrontation. To call him a pacifist for that though would be inaccurate. His abstinence from fighting isn’t as noble as it sounds. The boy refrains from battle because he is a coward, not because he wants to end violence.

Taro is smart. At least when it comes to the more academic side of things. When it comes to people, the youth has a lonnnng way to go. He can create a build a network in hours, and break through one in minutes, but he couldn’t figure out the person next to him worth shit. Taro’s not big into trusting people, he knows everyone isn’t his enemy, but that doesn’t mean everyone is his friend either. He’s cautious, and for good reason. Taro tries to put on airs to make himself seem much more mature than his age warrants. Its rare, but there are times when his calculated exterior falls and reveals the true child underneath [normally when sweets or video games are around] He's incredibly stubborn when he wants to be. When Taro decides to stand for something he is stalwart and steadfast, never budging a bit in his conviction.

Upon taking the Eight Tails into his body, Taro’s psyche has faced serious trauma. At times Taro’s personality will do a complete 180. He’ll become cold, harsh, even murderous. The times that he has these fits are random, but seem to be brought about during times of excessive stress.



Appearance:

Taro is a mocha skinned youngster with a baby face and innocent, melancholy violet eyes. Randomly throughout his hair are strands of white that he's had since birth; he used to get made fun of for his strange hair color in fact. He's short, even for a thirteen year old, and he’s sensitive about it. To talk about his height would probably turn him even further off from you. A beauty mark is situated underneath his left eye. Taro always wearing his sky-blue colored hoodie. It was a gift from his brother Walker. The material of the hoodie is cotton, and it's actually extremely thin in make. On his legs, Taro generally dons a pair of baggy tan cargo shorts. The youth's feet are ALWAYS covered by his trusty pair of red high-top canvas sneakers.

Remote Controled Shiruken

Hand crafted creations implanted with Taro’s special chip. Silent, quick, and deadly. Each shiruken has a camera implanted in them that Taro can use to survey areas with the transmitter’s range. Should they impact with a target, a jolt of electricity is sent through their bodies.

Canti

A prototype board that defies gravity. Able to rise several feet into the air with ease, the board gives Taro a level of mobility that dwarfs many foes on the battle field. It comes in an eye pleasing lemon yellow. When not in use, the board collapses into a small, then, cell phone shaped device.

Chakra Nature: Wind + Water = Ice

Techniques/Skills:

Growing up in the home of one of New Konoha’s top minds, it was only natural that Taro develop some mastery of computers. No one would have guessed though, that the boy would trump his own father’s programming skills. Taro has the ability to hack into and manipulate mainframes, and design new, useful tools for the team. In order to create these new tools, he first must find some inspiration; an existing weapon or item that he can build upon. With growth, Taro can even disrupt enemy weapons, rendering their advanced tech useless.

I N K O U T

Influence of the Eight Tails causes Taro to adopt some traits of the beast. Taro gains the ability to spit ink from his mouth. This skill can be used in conjunction with his Wind Nature to create a thick smoke screen.

Jutsu:

Transformation Technique - E Rank

_Taro assumes a new form. At early stages he's limited to people, but later on, Taro can take the shape of animals, or even inanimate objects.

Hiding In Mist Technique - D Rank

_Taro generates a thick mist that reaches as far as the eye can see. He combines this skill with his 'Ink Out' technique, making visibility for anyone but him completely zero. Anyone other than a Byakugan user is out of luck if they try to sense him out. When being sought out by sensory ninja, the Mist takes on the color of Taro's chakra [a golden color], making it impossible to locate him using that method alone.



Wind Style: Great Breakthrough - C Rank

_Taro inhales a great amount of air and quickly exhales it. The result is a powerful gust of wind. The longer Taro charges the technique, the stronger it becomes, with the strongest level of it being able to rip through a large tree. The squall can blow away all things in Taro's pat.



History:

Taro's life has been uneventful to say the least. The boy was born and raised in New Konoha to Rei and Yuzu Murakami. Taro's father Rei was the founder of the Eos Corporation. The company is a top manufacturer in the world, and is employed directly by the Divine Coalition. In his early life, Taro had a close relationship with both of his parents, but as his father slowly became obsessed with his job he separated himself from his family. As a result, the boy has completely fallen out with his father in recent years. Taro's relationship with his mother has been strained. His mother has lost her warmth and life, and instead the woman's dreary and aloof. It's as if she barely sees him. Some nights, he hears his parents engage in heated arguments. Taro suspects that to be the cause.

The boy's one friend in all of this has been his caretaker: Kai-Lan. A weapons master far from the east. The family employed her to watch over Taro. The son of a top businessman has many potential enemies. Gentle, wise, and most of all, motherly, Kai-Lan has become the boy's biggest support, and best friend.

The family was invited to attend the Founding Festival by the Feudal Lords themselves, however, both parents were far too busy to attend. So on their way now are Taro and Kai--by a private Coalition air ship.

Other:

_Taro's chakra manifests itself in a gold color rather than the traditional blue. This could be a result of his bloodline.

Whimsical and lighthearted, earnest and kind is Solo. He's a man who only desires one thing: to live a fulfilled, happy life. Mr. Kuzunoha isn't a person to start fights; he's too chilled for all of that. He sees himself as a lover and would much rather bump fists than throw them. While he is laid back, and calm, he is far from lazy, and won't hesitate to put his all into something he sees worthy. Solo possesses the inherent ability to whether psychological shit storms that would break most men's psyche through laughter, marijuana, and relaxation. He likes to see the good in people--a habit that has put him in terrible situations before.

Solo's very spiritual and recites an old prayer to Princess Kuzunoha before every battle. His faith gives him something to believe in. The youngest child of the Kuzunoha family has an extremely healthy appetite for knowledge. Old scrolls, ancient texts, ruins, you name it. From lost arts, to current technology, Solo has a thirst for it. When he stumbles upon something new he's filled with child like excitement and wonder. He won't stop digging until he finds out everything about it.

He's known to be a very prolific liar under pressure. When the going gets tough, Solo likes to blame other people for his problems, or run away from the all together. He's immature that way, and it shows how much he has left to learn about the world. Solo knows how to handle himself in the streets, and on the battlefield, but he's still got a long way to go. He's naive, and still holds onto empty, vague ideals like Justice, and good & bad.

Appearance:

Coming in at 6’3”, young Solo is thin framed with a less than impressive physique. His skin is a light brown color while his messy black locks sit forever unruly atop his dome. Lack of care has caused him to grow a small prickly beard on his chin. The bibliophile’s eyes are a pair of wine colored orbs. Those same eyes are typically ‘complimented’ by his square-shaped, black-framed eyeglasses. He can’t see a lick without em’. Solo's got a peculiar looking tattoo underneath his right eye, a tattoo all men in his family are given. He also has a tattoo of a scantily clad Princess Kuzunoha on his forearm, her back is turned, and her kimono is falling off. .

As for apparel, both of Solo’s ears are pierced with black bead style earrings, while his left is pierced two more times along the cartilage. His style of dress is a mixture of business casual, and painfully hipster. He's often wearing a dress-shirt and vest, sleeves rolled up, dark pants a white leather belt, and white loafers. Solo takes the utmost pride in his clothing. Solo keeps his blade Saika's sheath in his back most belt loop, it hangs there diagonally.

Copper Wire

Thin, light-weight, and handy as all hell. Being a Lightning-Natured combatant, Solo keeps a ton of this on hand. He often uses this super conductive wire in conjunction with his techniques.

The Demon Eye

Solo was a soldier in Heaven's Hand, specifically the Research & Development branch. Although he left their ranks long ago, he still has one memento of his time there: The Demon Eye. An experimental ocular device that was the R&D's attempt to mimic the Sharingan & Byakugan.It came in the form of a pair of specs, and looking at them, you would never know how useful they were.

The Demon Eye has a number of advantages. The first being connection to The Hand's Data Network. A comprehensive network of everything happening in the world. With this database at his disposal, Solo can track people by ID Brands, gain information on new places, check the movements of The Hand and more. The second is the ability of enhanced perception it grants. The glasses have heat seeking, night vision, telescopic, and chakra sensing all in one. It's the ultimate eye, and a monster in combat.


Saika

A legendary Chakra blade passed down throughout the Kuzunoha family that comes in the form of a chokuto. The blade and the user develop a sort of partnership with one another. One cannot use this weapon without intense training with it. One who is not accustomed to the weapon will have all of their Chakra sapped away, one who is skilled with it though, will be blessed with one of the strongest ninja weapons in existence. Saika reacts to the whim of the user. If Solo throws it, the blade will travel the path he wants it to go; curving, spiraling and rising to the exact point he desires. Should the weapon be knocked from his hands, he can call it back, and the blade will return to his grasp in seconds.

The weapon can disperse Solo's chakra at will. Bolts of fierce lightning will jut from any point of the blade without warning. It's his most trusted partner.

Solo three years of basic training starting at 18 to join The Hand. As a result he has reached an above average level of speed and agility. Solo's fighting style is a mixture of unorthodox and erratic acrobatic moves, and fast flurries.

Although Solo learned formal swordsmanship during basic training, his main style is self taught. Inspired by the Drunken Fist, and several dance styles, Solo's invented his own style. Hand springs, back flips, somersaults, you name it, Young Kuzunoha will do whatever it takes to win the battle.

A hybrid Nature somewhere between water and lightning. The release allows the creation of laser-like Jutsu. They flow free like water, and strike quick like lightning.

Secret Art: Total Shape Manipulation

Kuzunoha ninja had a level of chakra control that dwarfed other clans'. Members of the Kuzunoha clan could make their chakra manifest in the form of large, dense solids. Cubes, spheres, you name it. The most skilled warriors would make their chakra take the form of weapons or armor. The more intricate and strong the user wishes to make the object the more concentration and chakra it takes to create.

Chakratic Knowledge

Being an ex-member of The Hand, and personally intrigued by the subject, Solo has a wide catalog of knowledge on ninja arts from the old days. He knows nearly every nuance to chakra and its uses, a knowledge that has been widely lost with the times.

Jutsu

Body Flicker Technique - D - Rank

A high speed movement technique. Solo uses a certain amount of chakra to invigorate his body and cover distances at an incredible, untraceable speed. Because of how instantaneous the movement is, this can be mistaken for teleportation, but that would be wrong. The larger the distance Solo covers, the more chakra he must use. Normally, Solo will disappear without a trace, but there are instances when he may leave a plume of smoke, or a mass of sparks behind.

Lightning Style: Staccato - D Rank

A basic lightning nature technique. Solo ejects a stream of light from a point on his body [palms, feet, tongue]. The lightning can be used in a number of ways. What it lacks in strength, it makes up for in versatility.

Storm Style: Bang! - C Rank

Solo makes a gun shape with his hand and gathers some chakra at the tip of his finger. Using his Kekkei Genkai he creates a laser like energy and fires it. The 'bullet' is able to curve, rise, and descend to his liking. Solo can fire six of these shots in quick succession before he has to 'reload'.

History:

Ah...Solo...now that is a story...

In the old world, the Kuzunoha clan was full of proud warriors that fought to the death for their Kage. Now though, the Kuzunoha are a shadow of their former self. They have long since forgotten their proud heritage as the clan that made allies out of Tailed Beasts. Now, they were just a typical family residing in a small Earth Country town called Sado. Neku Kuzunoha was the youngest son of the family's four children [three older brothers, one younger sister]and knew from the get-go that he wanted something more...fulfilling than living like his parents did. He liked the idea of standing for something; probably because it looked so glamorous in the books he read and the games he played. This idea led him to enlistment in The Hand. Neku began basic training at the age of 18.

The Officers realized that Neku's brain, creative and inventive, would compliment the Research & Development Branch the best, so they shipped him to Kiri. He would still be working as a soldier, but from time to time, he would be called in to aid in experiments [and be a part of in the Demon Eye case]. It was when he transferred to the R&D that Neku was first given his codename: Solo. They told him that down there, nothing was the same. He hardly believed them.
Work in Kiri was horrible. The city's people were nothing more than lab rats, liable to be snatched off the streets at any moment to be subjects in the R&Ds next test. The streets were lifeless. There was a constant chill in the air. It was all bad. People were losing their lives, and here was Solo letting it all happen. This was not what he wanted. This wasn't the life of being a guardian to the people he pictured. This was the total opposite.

A little under two years into his service, at the age of 22, Solo broke away from the barracks. Kiri was a fortress. He had to cut through a number of soldiers, and the dome itself to escape. To this day, Solo is the only person ever to escape Kiri. Using his Demon Eye, Solo erased his ID from the databases and went under the radar. He decided to keep his codename Solo; he couldn't go back to being Neku anyway. At some point, the man returned home. He came back to find an ailing mother, and a solemn father.

His dad didn't say much to Solo when he returned, and he didn't care to know why he was back. Instead, he told him to follow him. Yu Kuzunoha led his son through a series of caverns beneath the house that Solo never knew existed. Insignia on the wall he noted as the symbol for the old Hidden Cloud village, and another he had never seen. At the end of their journey, they reached a room, full of statues. It was circular, and reached high up. The statues were all situation along the walls, stacked upon different tiers, all the way up the mass of the chasm.

Here, Yu told his son the story of the Kuzunoha, and the story about the ninja's extermination. At the end of the tale, he gave Solo a blade. Sharp, sleek, and warm to the touch. But when he grabbed it, Solo felt weak. This was Saika. Solo asked his father why he told him all of this, but Yu only told him to leave.

And so Solo did. With Saika in hand, the Kuzunoha scion took off. For years he drifted. And he was happy like that. It was peaceful and calm.

But Solo's tranquility is about to be shattered.

Personality: Daaku never let's up in any of his endeavors and from one day to the next he holds fast to each and every belief he has. Nobility and the righteous actions of prosecution of the wicked seem like good ideals but why bother?? More than anything Daaku is a man committed to not only whatever needs to be done but the means to accomplish those tasks.

He is an intense and brash man and can easily come off as vindictive or even harsh to the point of being evil at times but overall his overtly sarcastic manner keeps this at bay. Underlying his persona that hits the surface is a heart of brilliance that loves hard and hates harder...

Appearance: Daaku is fairly dark skinned but not too dark to where the melanin in his flesh looks like dark chocolate, it's more of a milky cocoa or caramel coloring. He stands at roughly 5 feet 9 inches which isn't overly tall but his posture is amazing and so straight that he can come across and much taller than he actually is.

Muscle mass is abundant in Daaku's legs and in his torso yet where some people bulge with muscles all over the place Daaku doesn't feel the need to impress others even though his lithe physique IS impressive. A large majority of Daaku's body is covered in an array of tattoos and piercings, most of them being tribal work because of his Symbology. Both sides of his lips, his eyebrows and tongue are all pierced along with other areas such as both nipples.

One very unique thing about Daaku would be that his hair naturally grows purple but fades into red, then grey and a shiny white as it layers over his shoulders. His cheekbones aren't too high or sharp but he does have a soft chin. Also Daaku's eyes are near constantly black so dark in fact that some believe light doesn't reach them at all. Daaku normally wears ceremonial robes that are mixed in with technological advancements from his firm.

Weapons:
Tanmatsuken(Terminal Sword)- A special blade that with two others, Daaku developed and has made using high forgery skills and the natural forces of Yin and Yang. With such an intense compression of chakra as physical material and the finest metals and materials, this is a blade with a simple red handle that can be just about any size. Upon usage it builds from chakra flux into a gleaming blade that can be long, thick, wide, sharp, dull, and so on by Daaku's will alone. It is the ultimate physical nature and by allowing chairs stemmed from the weapon to reach out, Daaku can cause occurrences like growth or organic materials.

Akumu- This is the second weapon in Daaku's arsenal that is in the shape of a bladed fan that isn't that large. It is filled with the seeds of Yin and unbound spiritual manifest which in battle is a great ploy. The rivets of the fan extend up to four times their original size and release their power of Yin itself, the ultra defined force of imagination or in the naruverse a mental basis that causes opponents to become confused as they are struck and face their very minds dissolving. Daaku is quite able to flow genjutsu directly through the fan with each connecting strike.

Activation of this blood trait involves a stemming notion of corroding and then regenerating chakra which mutates the eyes to turn black and also ebb light to reflect back unto darkness which allows for a pitch of black coloring of the eyes, hence the name Burakkuai. Extra chakra develops very thin rings at the edge of the eyes that varies from user to user and also causes a mutation in the genes even before the blood traits manifest which do odd things to the users hair coloring shortly after the toddler stages.

With the KG active Daaku as user can see and ebb chakra through his sight to detect and monitor both movement and chakratic flux, able to read and store the notions of these happenings as well and use them later on. Not just the eyes, but the senses can concentrate on movement and chakra from right next to them to a radius of 500 meters, but with chakra and a stemming balance of training and poise, Daaku has no problem focusing to do this within 3-4 kilometers, using daunting concentration to flux his sight through matter.

The ring inside the eye gives a powerful ability in the kekkei genkai; The clarity of objects still, or moving is enhanced by more than 350%, making the eyes keen on pretty much anything that is going on. The ring slowly rotates, feeding information about chakra and automatically looks directly into the body, not at just the chakra stream, but at pinpoint locations where an area is weaker than it should be in a dangerous way. It is possible to see exactly where chakra flows faster through an area, and rapidly attack that location, and cause chakra to surge through the area, bursting apart muscle, blood vessels, and possibly organs that are targeted. In reverse, every notion of the muscle control and reaction time is advanced allowing high flexibility, This is also why Daaku is able to move at such daunting and extreme speeds which stem from his underlying chakratic forces.

The last notion of this Kekkei Genkai would be its construct called' Gentoukuiseigen(Mind Singularity), The raw psionic nature to influence and control the primordial aspects of the mind stem from the concentration of chakra that holds precedence over such an area, in this case the manipulative effects of chakra brandishing genjutsu so strong that they shift one's personal reality itself, taking every sense to a new level so real that chakra inside the body is caused by Yin to partially enact what the mind witnesses inside each genjutsu that Daaku can furbish. So strong are his genjutsu born from his Burakkuai that he is easily able to conjure an image and have everybody in the vicinity believe what they see, with no real notion that it is false other than that if they have a very strong mind or resistance to genjutsu they will feel out where reality has torn and their minds are trapped. Rather than go into complete detail it is safer to say that Daaku’s control causes traps so perfect that there isn’t really a notion for escape other than a massive release of chakra. It should be obvious that he is unaffected by genjutsu for the most part and the higher the level genjutsu he unleashes the more massive a drain of chairs he takes.

KG Jutsu

Burakku Raito no Ken(Fist of Black Lights)- A fighting style that is based solely on the exertion of chakratic pressure during each intended strike to disable the equilibrium of foes gravitational standing when they are hit. In conjunction with the Burakkuai during this taijutsu style, Daaku unleashes blows back to back with stacks up the strain on the areas he strikes and fills them with black light; a chakratic substance that holds physical energy or kinetic force inside small glowing black particles.

The more times a person is hit and pressurized muscle or tissue is filled with this substance, Daaku can cause it to implode, or explode, causing severe damage to the inside of the flesh and disabling nerve function and slowing down muscle reactions to a crawl. This style is also very unpredictable as the strikes come from a series of rolls, or flips and acrobatic feats that make study of the technique alarmingly complex as during movement the black light vibrates from Daaku's body itself so that tracking methods only capture the inertia that Daaku has charged up and cover his movement from being traced. Only normal eyes can actually see him, and even then its still basically a lost cause.

The most dangerous form of this style is called finger strikes as Daaku can channel Yang in a compact manner directly into his finger tips and build up vast amounts of inertia and physical force within these small areas and then release it all at once in devastating strikes that cause high impact collisions upon others and frankly can easily shatter stone, pierce metal and break bones.

Firuta(Filter)- A technique savvy to the enactment of movement through the rending of chakra in a given direction, place and time which allows the user to be embodied in one place after the next. Like movement with no speed involved a simpler force can be exerted to move to extreme speeds in non linear time. *No-Rank, Kekkei Genkai/Supplementary*

Bankai(Recovery)- The simplest idea that chakra embodies both life and death, and as such can be used to embody healing and recover just about any wound. A notion stemming chakra upon one's being through the mind to turn a mental image into complete reality. *No-Rank, Kekkei Genkai/Supplementary*

Youzai Gutaiken (Flux Embodiment)- A simple thought really, Daaku uses a perfect flux of chakra to embody his being, meaning he can make replications that are in every way shape and form, Daaku Raito. Other than that they can function and act on their own as such, but they come with a limited warranty so to speak. If damaged the right way, they fade away and also release part of Daaku that sets off an odd genjutsu like effect. It is also possible to fuse these replications back into Daaku as he chooses. *No-Rank, Kekkei Genkai/Supplementary*

Chakra Nature: Yang, Lighting, Earth.

Techniques/Skills:
Symbology- This is the use of a specialized contract of sorts that causes yang chakra to flourish within each of Daaku's techniques which changes them from mere jutsu to spells of great force that have increased physical power via yang embodiment and infusion. The tattoos adorned on Daaku's body allow this occurrence at a sustained rate. It should be noted that the basis of these actions is via the tarnaic blood that also runs through Daaku's veins. As a manipulator of the Yang property at such an extreme level, Daaku's aging has stopped because he embodies life as a Yang Master.

Chakratic Dominance- As an accomplished ninja in the fields of manipulative effects with chakra, Daaku is well versed in the stimulation of chakra to accomplish an array of feats such as walking on water, on upside down surfaces or even emitting chakra to turn water into ice as an example. His calculations are always precise due to his kekkei genkai and he easily manipulates chakra to perform more daunting tasks such as flight.

Chakratic Superbia- The Pride in one's own control of chakra and its manifestations as those which come from within a being in sentience, in this case Daaku. He never worries about what could happen to his chakra because nobody can control it other than himself without harming themselves first.

Hikari Youzai(Light Flux)- Oh?? Daaku has a taking for light and can bend it and use it on whim. Though his chakra natures don't include light, in actually Daaku is a master of light techniques and forbid himself to use them because of the massive terror he caused to others wielding them in the past. By manipulating light bia chakratic force and also meshing and melding light into his attacks with Yang chakra as a medium, Daaku can very well realign his jutsu to cause even greater harm than before. More so is his ability to diffuse light from substances and hamper its uses by others with his advanced control of Symbology. To make matters more complicated due to the fact that Daaku' blood trait produces dauntingly powerful genjutsu, manipulation of light into an energy base and genjutsu base are also possible so he can switch to and from these properties flawlessly and cause great confusion to enemies and allies alike.

Jutsu
Senhappa(Beam Blast)- a technique that would be classified under the Yang release through its purposeful intentions. Seru charges between its hands a strong physical endeavor within chakra that builds up into a mass of raw physical energy in a concentrated format of diffused and expanding particles. When fired at an object or enemies, though the jutsu may look solid it is not and opponents can be torn apart by the makeup of this technique. The potency of the Senhappa varies upon use but the greater the mass put into it the more dangerous such a technique becomes. This technique is quite variable and malleable so it can be used in many ways via the users manipulation or intellectual thought.*No-rank, Yang/Pure*

Rasenkoa(Helix Core)- The user starts this technique by channeling a dense form of chakra above their hand until it intensifies and manifests as a solid sphere that can be anywhere from several inches to the size of a baseball. The chakra is fueled by Yang as complete physical energy and draws chakra around it in a helix like DNA pattern that gives it inverted momentum. It draws chakra to it and can be controlled remorely so as it speeds through the air it has the ability to disable techniques by breaking up their chakra on the helix and then slam into foes causing horrific damage via inversion force as they are sucked on it. Variants of this can be formed and using more chakra amplifies the damage and size of the technique. *No-rank, Yang/Pure*

Raioningusukurimingu(Screaming Lighting)- This is a lightning technique that Daaku uses by extending his fingers and allowing streams of lightning to run out of them at a selected target, the lightning is dense and can cause nerve failure and also seizures through continued contact. Not only can Daaku thicken the grey lightning streams he can also stream the lighning around himself and be unaffected by it. By sprouting the lightning into the air and letting it dissipate unto simple plasma particles, the air can become laced like a heavy static field that affects the nervous system and body, also causing convulsions if one is left in its grasp for too long. *Symbology, Lightning/Yang*

Shinseihappa (Nova Blast)- A rapid chain of hand signs ending with the tatsu seal ignites a bound flux that grows inside the closed palm, the palm is opened and normally outstretched and the mass of chakra charges up and gains substance, soon regulated by a thin shell of chakra that melds the jutsu and gives it shape. An angled thrust of the arm sends the jutsu forward or in whatever direction it is launched and a lump of chakra rips through the air, breaking particle speeds. Upon collision with the flesh of an enemy ninja the jutsu has dangerous blunt impact damage, as it breaks apart foes are showered with detonating chakra. A direct hit with something not organic will cause an explosion of chakratic flux that is even more dangerous and results in a mushroom cloud afterward. Unmei no Inazuma(Fated Lightning)-Brimming chakra is used when striking a target numerous times and this summons onto them a small sparkling particle that causes a minor shock and also warms up their face. What they don't know however is that the use of chakra charges this particle location and acts as a summoning portal to drop a large bolt of purple lightning upon them. Chikyu no Kohai(Earth Devastation)- A quick flux of yang chakra is released into the ground as Daaku brings his hands up and lifts with it a grove of rock that forms densely packed cubes formed of particles of the earth and increased physical essences. On whim he can use these cubes to slam into foes or defend himself. It is also able to manipulate the cubes into smaller sizes and hurl the cubes simultaneously in any direction, also having the choice to put the earth used back into the ground. *Symbology, Earth/Yang*

Kowarete iru Raitoningu(Corrupt Lightning)- One of Daaku’s quickest attacks that involves making use of Firuta to target and transport himself to an opponent via the electrical signals in their synapses and upon appearance, jab his hand into their back releasing a ripple of black lightning to cage them in and explode forth from their orifices. Though the damage looks severe enough, in reality the only purpose of this jutsu is to cause fear in an opponent since they are aware of black lightning spewing from their bodies. In an alternate version, Daaku can quickly shoot a thin line of black lightning from his finger to strike a foe.

Chikyu no Nankaina(Esoteric Earth)- Daaku forces chakra along the earth's surface or particles of dust in the air to encite them into high velocity movement where they collide and spark. These earthen pieces manifest into a cloud that sweeps over the enemies and burns into their skin causing very painful abrasions and wounds that sting and bleed. The cloud gets intense to the point that foes inside of it are subject to spontaneous combustion and possible death.*Symbology, Earth/Yang*

Chikyu dai Kozui(Earth Cataclysm)- Daaku’s body crackles with a sweltering electrified current that traces down it and runs along the ground, bouncing along and seeming to go out quite a few times before it picks up again and all the while the ground rumbles and shakes and electricity starts to shot out of the ground, splitting it and forming a sinkhole that expands outward from Daaku's location at a rate that doesn’t leave me time for escape. The crashing earth that falls into the sinkhole is one thing but the explosive energy of plasma that in abundance washes around the entire sinkhole is extremely dangerous and causes ensuing reactions of earth and plasma infusion as a result. *Symbology, Earth, Yin, Lightning*

Forbidden Jutsu
Kissui Tensai(Pure Disaster)- This jutsu is the call of ambiance from nature and from life, from pain and from love, from chakra and what chakra stands for and everything else that can, or can't be explained in the Naruverse, this is the ultimate jutsu that allows the draw of purity and piles it on to convert the force of life itself into an essence based construct of force that he melds into a massive sphere of destruction, unable to be justly defended against by any kind of chakra and he draws chakra from the realm in its entirety and forms this attack above his head. Spacial interference and the likeness of time no longer matter and once this bomb of raw existence is dropped, you're as good as erased, as the surge from Kissui Tensai is no joke, such a beautiful emission of green and swirling grayish white chakra, one that will end any fight for sure...

It seems that its been nearly one hundred years since I last tried to even encompass how much the world has changed. There was a time when I was the Raikage but that was long before Kumo had gotten so industrialized but I don't regret my choices or decisions. A new age has fallen upon us and rightly so, the ways of old are nearly lost inside the tall buildings and everything that has been happening.

Honestly it doesn't matter much to me, as most assume that my name is Daaku Raito only because of the fame that name had in ages past, but nonetheless I am he, the same man that felled the nations and ruled over Kumo with a strong but kind hand. It goes to show that living for such long periods of time doesn't always have the toll that people often think it should and that is enlightening because its not that I can't be killed, I simply don't age.

Being a master of chakra manipulation and kinjutsu and events that are so far gone that even the records of them have been sealed takes me back to a time when those like Rayex and Sano were still by my side. I'm surprised that Sano has gone missing because he technically was immortal too but it matters not at this point. All I know is that the new way of things is so secretive that nobody has realized that they are being oppressed but that will all change dramatically in the future that is coming shortly.

If before the Bingo Books held all the information on people, in this time its those damn barcodes that control every aspect of life that people see. I of course don't have one and just a few years ago I brought back Date Uchiha from the his resting place from his soul being trapped along with others in that cursed suit of armor Seru, so he and I have worked to stay off the charts and not outwardly expose ourselves to the public. To everyone where I am, I'm simply a businessman with a lot of money and that works for me just fine

I've always known things that other people did not and the Heaven's Hand has no idea the wrath that will befall them if they continue to manipulate the world for their own gain, people simply need to have their eyes opened to the truth, and people like me are going to make it happen...
