That's good. ^_^ Hey, once I complete my template, would you look over it and see if I got them all right? If not, just tell me and I'll try to fix it up.
Also, I think I'm the only one that's using a Rapier. :O

And that's pretty cool that you'll use a rapier, because:
I use a Katana,
CD uses a Morning Star,
LatinoHeat uses an Axe,
and Kiba uses a Scythe.
Every single one of us so far will be using a different weapon type.

Sweep-Soryuken- a horizontal sweep at the feet knocks a foe down but Renn then follows with a rising vertical slash (2 hits)
Quickdraw Slash- using his sheathed blade he surprises his opponent with a possibly deadly slash as he draws his weapon. (1 hit)
Sprint, An activatable burst of speed and a passive increase of a player's dodging capacity within the game. Level 225
Passive Skills:

Real Life Appearance: Renn's pretty young looking for his age, with deep blue eyes framed by black bifocal glasses and is almost always present with a pair of black headphones over his ears. His hair is dark brown and almost down to his shoulders so he ties his hair most times in a short ponytail( Example Here).
Outfit wise he prefers to keep it comfortable and stick with what he thinks looks good on him... Wearing red jackets, black, blue, forest green, red and white graphic tees. And as sure as you'll find his headphones he always wears a pair of washed out blue or black jeans and silver sneakers.
In-Game Appearance: Renn never really liked being dishonest with his appearance so he uses a design similar to his real appearance with some minor touches. His ponytail is longer and he still looks younger than he is. Wearing a black T-shirt, blue jeans with a belt that holds twin sheathes for his sword on his left and right hip, His pouch on his right hip however is for holding items for the sake of easy access (This minus the pauldron)
Personality: Renn is basically a loner, but not because he wants to be. He's a loner because he's socially awkward and the fact that most people don't interact with him mostly out of fear or respect within the game. He's actually pretty likable when you get to know him and he's a great ally in and out of SAO. He's helpful, caring, and will always have your back if you party up with him. He's also intelligent to the point that he has a IQ of 210 and has a pretty good sense of humor. Just don't backstab him.
Bio:
The reason his swords have names is because of his two siblings, his older brother and his twin sister got stuck in the original SAO when he was 15. When the facts hit the public about the 'death game' Renn went through an emotional breakdown. At first he was angry then worried and kept shifting between the two as he kept a vigil over his siblings. Renn tried to figure out a way to see into the world of the original SAO for the sake of finding his siblings but he found out if he tampered with the nerve gear it would trigger the microwaves and fry the brain within it and that was the only way to access the data.
He could only hope and pray that his older brother and sister were good enough gamers to survive until the end...
He kept up to date on the events within SAO as much as he could but he was soon heartbroken when he got home 1 day... His twin sister had died.
Prior to SAO Renn and his sister Raelyn were really close. In fact Renn never really needed friends because he was happy with just his family. Raelyn and their older brother Jiro were always there when they needed each other and they all played video games together often. Renn was especially connected to Raelyn because they although unique, they loved a lot of the same things. And to lose the closest person in his life next to his older brother was a tough ordeal. Renn was driven to the point that he wanted to take his sister's nerve gear and enter SAO himself and get revenge on Akihiko. His parents held him back not only because they lost Raelyn and could lose Jiro and they could not bear to risk the one child they could keep.
After Akihiko released everyone, Renn's older brother was let out immediately and he tried to protect Raelyn as much as he could within the game. But he didn't make it in time to save her. At first Renn blamed his brother, but after about a couple months things simmered down.
But another shocking event occurred, after the events in Alfheim online, Jiro was killed in a drive-by shooting. Not as deliberate as what happened to Raelyn, but still sad.
Renn was never the same after that... He moved on with his responsibilities but never moved on from his losses. Video games held little appeal for him anymore until he had to find a way to spend his spare time. He joined SAO with the hope that he could make friends and possibly move on but hasn't been very lucky.

@Roxie: Before you get your first post in, I actually did notice one thing in your template that you are missing. If you could read through the rules section and then get that in there you'll be golden.
@Shinra: A katana wielding, kimono wearing, speed-based samurai character? That sounds oddly like my character.
You are also missing the same thing in your template that Roxie is. You can find it in the rules section.
Lastly Shinra, there are a few minor details about your character that are a little questionable. Would you prefer to discuss them here, or via pm?

It sounds like I based it off of your character although I never looked at your template... I didn't want to use Raelyn like I did before but I swear even without looking at the template I copied it? wow... but I forgot some details because by the time I was done I was falling asleep
Yeah, I figured you probably didn't look at my template and just happened to come up with a very similar character. Weird.
Anyway, here are some of the issues I found in your template:
The dual wielding skill was only granted to a single player in the initial SAO, and it was granted to the one who was supposedly meant to defeat the final boss.
But, I know this is just an RP, and dual wielding is being permitted for multiple players now, so that isn't the real issue. The main issue is that you said you tied with him and was granted the ability in the original SAO? It's stated in the bio section of the template that characters aren't allowed to have been involved in the first incident, but family members could be. This was one of Lone's original rules.
Now in this section, you never make mention of Renn having played the original game, just his brother and sister who got trapped. So in your section about his weapon, you say he tied with Kirito for the dual wielding in the original, as if he was a part of the first game. Yet in the section about his bio, you state only his brother and sister got trapped. If Renn played the original, he would have been trapped as well, because every single person who logged into the game was unable to log out from day 1. So I'm not really sure where you are trying to come from here.
Lastly, I just briefly want to talk about your skills. The level cap for skills is supposed to be 1000. All of your skills are at level 500 or more, which would of course be the halfway point. Now, I don't think anyone else really bothered with skill levels, which is fine, I don't think it's super important in the story-telling either way, but here's my issue with with it:
Your skills are all at least at the halfway point to being maxed out, one is even about three fourths of the way there. Yet only 2 out of 10 bosses have been defeated. It just seems like your character is a little too powerful for the point we are at in the story. It is mentioned in the email to the players that if they are partaking in the tournament, then their player data is being stored away, so they are basically starting fresh.
Now, I could even see you being a hardcore gamer who grinded out levels for a while too. But it still seems like a bit too much considering the tournament has only been going on for 2 months, on top of the fact that only 2 bosses have been cleared.
Sorry for having to nitpick through this, I just want to make sure everything is good and clear before things really get started.

I hate to ask that of you because it's obvious you put a lot of time and thought into it, there were just a few too many things that didn't add up. Once you get everything cleaned up and figured out there will be a spot waiting for you man.
