Ariel probably was originally but I think it may have had something to do with the fanbase or something in the plans that cut her out of it.
Don't remember Maid Marian doing much either, cept pleading for Robin Hood's life. Least that's something. Need to watch the movie again XD
I'd think the status could go beyond being human. Just the ones chosen were human.

She was probably cut because of convenience's sake, seeing as she is a mermaid and the only way for her to become human is to include the storyline of the original movie, which would have been too complicated and not too connected to the main plot. To make up for this, the writers seemed to have emphasised her flaws to explain why did she not make the cut, unfortunately not too many people have picked up on that.
Yeah, logically Queen Minnie would be a POH, only she was cut because it would seem weird for one mouse to be among six human females. Anyway, aside from her, my other choices for POH would be
Pocahontas
Esmerelda
Mulan
These three have more personality and actual strength and purity of heart than Snow White, Cinderella and Aurora combined. Although Cinderella seems to have much more personality and actual defensive skills in BBS. Hopefully Snow White and Aurora get the same treatment.

And please, don't say anything about him being a guy, because, as Nomura said. "PEOPLE" with hearts of pure light. The PoH was a name given during KH1 because all of them happened to be female.
Meaning there could have been a guy in the past.

Alice is 11/12 in the Disney films. She was 7 in the books, but KH takes from Disney.
She'd be 1, or 2 in BBS. Though, it seems like you're not born as a PoH, from recent evidence. She might not have been a PoH back in the day. :/

... Aerial would be a princess but she was turned evil by .. ursale ( sorry i forgot how to spell the names im just writing whatever i know XP )
boo would make a funny princess her running around while pete trying to catch her and Sulley knocks out Pete wit a punch ( now that i think about it Monster's Inc would be a perfect world in BBS Xp or at least the next KH game )

I like this idea.
First of all, that would explain why Ariel is not a PoH in KH1, yet her world has been visited by keyblade masters beforehand, as said by King Triton.
Also, Pocahontas needs a world, so this would be a good excuse. But the only problem here is... her heart IS pure, she never gets consumed by darkness, so this wouldn't make sense. Unless she dies... And yeah... that ain't gonna happen. Maybe she refuses her fate and gives her PoH to Alice?
Someone came up with the idea of Rinoa. I like that idea a lot, because that would give Squall/Leon a background story he oh-so needed. First of all, Rinoa is a princess. Second, she could have been living with Squall in Radiant Garden until she was attacked by Heartless (which in this case would happen in the end of BBS obviously) and that's one of the reasons why Squall changes his name.
"Ashamed and angry that he was unable to defend his home and his loved ones from the Heartless, Squall assumed the name of Leon in order to distance himself from his past."
It fits... Besides, Rinoa needs a voice actor by now. She's one of the best FF characters and never had a VA. What's up with that...:23:

We're not talking about replacing princesses. We're talking about who the villains might mistake for Princesses. Like how they mistook Wendy for one in the original Kingdom Hearts. And no. No one is replacing Alice. Ever. If they do... Ugh. Alice is too good for you guys. >_>

Never thought about her. She did heal Milo in the movie and whatnot. Probably takes more than that but she could be mistaken for one.

That's exactly what I imagined happening. Frollo goes against both the heroes and the villians, becasue he strongly disbeleives that a gypsy could have a pure heart.
There are so many Disney girls I completely forgot about until you guys mentioned them (Maid Marian, Kida, etc.)
Also, I can't beleive this didn't occur to me before, but maybe Tiana from the new movie "The Princess and the Frog" (The first African American Disney Princess). It would be a good way to promote the movie before it's release (The same way they had Chicken Little in KH2, even if the movie was a flop).
Also thinking about random Disney girls, another one who came to mind was Penny from Bolt, which practically everyone of you would prolly object to, as that would mean having Miley Cyrus in KH (Though I personally have nothing against her).
Wait...that's it!! HANNAH MONTANA AS A PRINCESS!! (Oh come on, I'm only kidding XD)
