It was said that Roxas had half of Sora's strength, and when they reunited, Sora and Roxas combined their strengths. However, when Sora (recombined with Roxas) faced Organization members, he had a heck of a time trying to defeat them. Is it just me, or the fact that Sora had Roxas within him mean absolutely nothing?

And by the way, considering the fact that Sora lost his nobody half at Hollow Bastion in KH1 had no real effect on his "strength" leaves me thinking there was a huge inconsistency.

Is a nobody + a heartless > a single nobody, or a single heartless?

Shouldn't Riku have kicked Roxas' butt?

Shouldn't EVERYONE?!

What do you think?

Roxas was the second strongest member (weaker only than Xemnas - Nomura's words) but that doesn't mean the difference of powers was that big, that also doesn't mean that Roxas alone could easily defeat any member and the Org. members were strong independent whether Roxas was fused with Sora or Roxas alone, Roxas was just stronger, how much we don't know (remember what Saïx said: "Only you could make this far in one piece Roxas"). One more thing, Roxas had half of Sora's strength, that means that when Roxas fused back with Sora he regained his original strength.

Roxas had entered Sora, but never fully merged with him. It wasn't until before the Xemnas boss fight that Sora truly became one with Roxas.

Nice opinion, but I don't think that's true.

Yeah, but why did Sora not weaken due to Roxas' absence from within him? And how is it that Riku, a FULL person who was able to challenge Sora easily throughout KH1 and KH2, not able to defeat Roxas?

I'm suggesting that Sora having Roxas or not having Roxas is a superficial point and has absolutely nothing to do with the story, in the area of strength. It feels as though the idea of the Nobody was created after KH1, and not in the mind of Nomura until KH1 was a success.

No, the idea of nobodies was long before KH2, they were mentioned in KH FM Ansem report 13.

thats a good question Twilight, of course you should know Sora did beat Riku in 2 battles, Riku lost in a battle to Roxas once and then Riku beat him using his full power of darkness

Good question. But i think that if Sora had not had Roxas (or lost him for a period of time) then...hmm what did Roxas take from Sora...I think that since Roxas didnt become a nobody like the others(remmeber him and Namine are different from the others) something...something...yeah
