Not this again...
Stuff like a Star Wars gumi ship or a death star like gumi shop boss would be fine but i really dont want a Star Wars world. And just because Xemnas has lightsaberlike weapons or that KH shares some huge similarities to the Star Wars aga doesnt mean that it would fit well into KH.

"Star Wars Easter Eggs" does not say world, now does it? Did you even read the OP?

I want a light saber and awesome force powers who with me?

Well...the Keyblade is already "force-like" in that they can summon the Keyblade back to them...and Xehanort has mind-tricks haha.

And ñext we will see Xemnas will take student to wield his ethreal blade

Idk if he need to take students when Xehanort's built a clone army xD

For KH3, at most a secret boss battle and lightsaber keyblade. Hold any potential world till KH4/next KH saga.

Who would be the secret boss?

Jedi robes DLC for SDG and the Milineum Falcom gummi ship design

JEDI ROBES YES

Xemnas is pretty much a Sith Lord in all but name, even without his lightsabers. Black hooded cloak, telekinesis, deadly lightning-like attacks, evil yellow eyes, monologues about rage, hate, and anger...

You now, I never even looked at him like that until now...it's pretty damn obvious now where Nomura pulled his inspiration for Xemnas from.

I actually did a general star wars ref topic a while back: Here.

But I do wonder what other star wars refs will show up in KH3!

I feel shamed for never seeing this thread back then ;~;

A Republic Venator-class or an Imperial-class Star Destroyer as a secret Gummi ship boss (with accompanying fighter escort), in the same vein we had the Final Hunter in KH 2. ;P

Hopefully just as fun as KH2 if not more.

Lea attacks Xigbar first, but then in the Final Mix it's changed to having Xigbar attack first.

crying

Have Sora and M. Xehanort duel over a sea of lava in the Graveyard ala Revenge of the sith

Now that would be pretty damn epic.

Why does this have me roflmaoing?

I think name references like Biggs and Wedge, who were already in KHII, would be very likely. Some relatively obscure names, like Dodonna, Typho or Zam, not necesarily those, but on the same level.

Maybe when walking through a cave we can see a glimmering light stuck in the wall, not able to interact with it, it is really a Kaiber Crystal, or if we get a lightsaber styled Keyblade, have the cystal be its keychain.

Darth Vader as a secret boss. Nuff said.
Vader, especially compared to a lot of other Force-users in Star Wars, is slow, clunky, and is limited to non-acrobatic swordplay and the occasional Force choke/throw. He doesn't even have Force lightning! I don't think he'd be able to keep up with a character like Sora, who can dart this way and that, ricochet off walls, and practically fly with the right abilities.

I'm thinking that a decent way to do it is to have a couple of the Gummi ship routes be based off of famous starship-fight scenes. The trench battle from IV, or the whole opening sequence from III, for example. Completing all these missions and meeting certain criteria on all of them will get you the Keyblade "Red Five," a design based off of the X-Wing with a lightsaber-like shaft.

I would like a small reference. Nothing big that changes the plot of KH3 like a whole Star wars world.
More like someone cutting Sora's hand off and telling him that he's his father.

Hooded Enigma: Yen Sid never did tell you what happened to your father.

Sora: No, and why does that mat-

HE: I AM YOUR FATHER.

Sora: ... Oh.

HE: You're... not going to freak out? Scream "NOOOO" and all that?

Sora: Why would I do that? Is this supposed to be important or something?

HE: okay let me try this again I AM YOUR BEST FRIEND.

Sora: *panics and freaks out*

I love this. Now we can start theorizing who Sora's father is. We defnitely didn't get enough talk about Sora's mother so maybe we'll waste even more time talking about this.

With the power of the PS4 and the Unreal 4 engine the Gummi ship segments hopefully will be even further enhanced.

I really dig that idea since most of the big space battles in Star Wars (especially Battle of Endor in Episode VI and Battle of Coruscant in III) are very epic.
The opening shot of the Coruscant battle alone can give one chills as the first things you hear is only war drums, then one single Republic Venator-Star Destroyer glides into sight with Obi-Wan's and Anakin's fighters coming into view.
They fly over the surface of the Star Destroyer and once they pass it and fly down you realize that there's a battle with tens of thousands of ships of both the Republic and the Confederacy going on and you have the city-planet of Coruscant (from which more Star Destroyers are starting to join the battle) as a backdrop:

The dialogue of the prequel trilogy may have been cringy as hell for most parts, but they managed some damn epic space shots.
Heck, when I first watched Ep. III I was even disappointed that we got to see so little of that titanic battle and on subsequent watchings I made it a habit to ignore most of Anakin's and Obi-Wan's bantering and focus on the space battle in the background instead.

The only worry I might have about this is that the Gummi Ship is way too frail to survive in an environment like that compared to what actual Star Wars fighters are made of.
Not to mention that unlike the Heartless and Nobody ships, nearly all of the Star Wars ships (capital ships and fighters except the cheap Imperial TIEs) are heavily shielded.

That's why I wanted the Gummi Ship segments to be based off of these battles. Have the same kind of setting, actions, spaceship choreography (yeah look who's BSing terms 'cause they know nothing about moviemaking), that sort of thing, but not the actual SW-universe ships. Like how you described the opening of Episode III:

They fly over the surface of the Star Destroyer and once they pass it and fly down you realize that there's a battle with tens of thousands of ships of both the Republic and the Confederacy going on and you have the city-planet of Coruscant (from which more Star Destroyers are starting to join the battle) as a backdrop

Imagine a sequence almost just like that, but replace the ships and general space chaos with KH equivalents. But keep the way the scene is revealed and presented (minus the Jedi banter) similar enough that anyone who knows some Star Wars would be reminded of Revenge of the Sith.

KHII already did this with the Dreadnought sequence, the final Gummi Ship path you have to take to Twilight Town and TWTNW. It's preeeetty obvious that they were going for an Episode VI-esque "fly into giant laser-beaming superweapon in space, destroy it from inside, and fly out as it explodes with the camera facing your front" sorta feeling.

lol, that'd be cool!
As for Easter Eggs... Some of you should now it already, but I am not a fan of a Star Wars World in KH III.
But I wouldn't have anything against Easter Eggs. I'd actually be happy about some of those. There could even be a Lightsaber-Keyblade of some sort. But I dunno.

New trailer on the same day as TFA. Not saying there's a connection but if there's gonna be a SW world, now's the time to be showing it doncha think?

Bring on the Star Wars world. I'm sure it'll look awesome in the Unreal 4 engine.
