I would assume the more people they get on that list of people interested in the Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix+ the more likely a North American release would happen if Square Enix isn't already planning it.

perhaps, if they get many people intrested, S-E NA might send a notice to S-E JP, saying something about how many here are intrested.
I'm pretty sure this game is coming here, they just want us to suffer, writhe and question so when they do announce it, it'll sell like hot cakes, or pancakes(why do they call 'em hotcakes?)
and I'm still convinced that the the live chat staff is a cult where everyone is named Neil.

This is my chat transcript. I tryed to ask some(at least I believe) pretty tough questions. I thought he answered them very well but I couldn't tell towards the end if he getting pissed off or if he had (from his propective) a nice conversion. I also learned alot of interesting things. Here it is:

SER Neil: It would be more up to Square-Enix, and if it follows tradition as the first one, it might not come to the North American market.

Benji Black: Hmmm, interesting. Also, when I emailed Square Enix regarding this game they said that Square Enix Japan at that time had no plans to bring it to North America but that that didn't mean it would nessarily never happen. What I don't understand is is Square Enix Japan the one to decide whether a game comes to other regions? Shouldn't that be the job of Square Enix USA to decide whether a game comes to North America or not?

SER Neil: Well Benji, to be quite honest with you, it's alot more complicated then I'm able to explain to you.

Benji Black: In terms of what is required when you are trying to bring out a game? Like transilation of the game, marketing, preparing demos, etc?

SER Neil: Square-Enix Japan has many different reasons to hold back a title from other markets, but above all it's ultimately their decision.

Benji Black: Wow, very interesting. I can understand being that you are the American branch of a Japanese company. I ask these kinds of questions because I am considering going into the video game industry and it is interesting stuff to learn. I mean you personally might have noticed that some people have been writing you guys about the game because several notable gaming publications have been saying that the Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix+ is coming out in fall

Benji Black: and they want to know what is going on.

SER Neil: Well I honestly don't know what else to tell you Benji, you've asked me numerous times in different methods for basically the same answer.

SER Neil: We only know what is publically announced.

SER Neil: I really wish I could be of a better help.

SER Neil: But you will need to accept the fact that it may or may not come out in North America.

SER Neil: Until something is announced, we cannot comment further.

Benji Black: I can accept a fact if there was fact to accept I think what bothers most fans is that there is no stance on it. But, I can understand the position you guys are in.

Tepidshark's comment: Basically the thing I took from this is that it is all up to Square Enix Japan. Square Enix USA and Disney aren't really involved in the descision. Also, it was interesting to learn that Square Enix USA only knows what has been announced and nothing beyond that. I hope you enjoyed this.

Well I thought he wasn't going to tell me things I didn't already know, but he did tell me about how some systems for these kinds of things work. Yeah, he did seem to be getting a little annoyed I wonder if it because so many people have been asking him personally about the Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix+. I don't think it is any sign at all, the guys at Square Enix USA seem to know just about as much as we the gamers know about game releases. Plus, I asked alot of tough questions. I would say to keep on going into chat sessions because if nothing else I think it maybe good to get on the list of people interested.

He probably has been getting that question alot since we discovered we could do this. Unless, what it is is that any male person you talk to is named Neil because they want to keep there real names secret and there is a different name they use for all the female people you talk to as well.
