Don't know if this was posted but this was posted today. Honestly I am not buying the explaination. What do you guys think?

It seems pretty reasonable, given that the Wii U is a noticeably deviant console compared to the PS4 and X1. They virtually would have developed two games at once.

I am not buying the reason because it was confirmed not long ago that the WIIU can support Unreal Engine 4 which includes Direct X 11. They might as well go the Ubisoft route and just say the WIIU is not selling well and stop making excuses.

As we reported in our FoFF event coverage, Hashimoto said he couldn't comment on Wii U ports.

I think completely reasonable, and seems pretty direct. While it sucks that Nintendo-exclusive owners won't be able to enjoy the game, if they were to port it to the Wii-U it'd mean the team would have to 'dumb' down the game in a sense from it's full potential.
