So after chewing the bullet and going through KH3 again, and digesting what ReMIND had to offer. The ending of ReMIND and the Secret Episode got me thinking about a theory regarding Yozora and Sora.
Spoiler ShowSo by the end of ReMIND three separate people warned Sora about abusing the Power of Waking. YMX, Mickey, and Chirithy respectively. And yet by Chirithy's attempt Sora explicitly says he does not care what happens to him. Meaning he willingly gave his life to save Kairi (yet again.) By the time he saves Kairi, we see that he is already starting to fade. Then the ending of 3 happens. But here is the kicker:
It looked like Sora himself knew he wasn't going to return. Because by the time he awakens in TFW in the Secret Episode even he seems surprised by returning to that place. Despite being told countless times "that you will fade and not be able to return." So here is my theory, Nomura has said that Luxord's Wild Card would be the key to Sora returning to his realm. But what if the Wild Card isn't an actual entry but a person?
When they encounter each other Yozora is caught off guard by Sora recognizing him and by Sora using "Sora" as his name. What if Luxord's Wild Card summoned Yozora and by battling Sora in TFW he helped form a connection, an anchor, that keeps Sora persisting in TFW? What if Yozora is the reason Sora still exists and he's the reason that Sora didn't fade completely? And thats why Luxord gave Sora the Wild Card in the first place? [/SPOILER]
