but it didn't actually meet Sora;Sora had to go through an Awakening to meet Ven. I think the reasoning for their meeting is Ven's presence in the RoA.

When I meant "3 ft away," I meant that the heart was far enough so that we could see it physically enter a body and/or merge with a heart, to which I'm keeping Eraqus and Van in mind. Either way, we have never seen Ven's heart physically merge with Sora's in the RoL.

When was this established? By that logic, Ven's heart should've left his body immediately after splitting with Van.

Every single fusion that has ever occurred in the KH universe has happened in the RoL (with the exception of Kairi/Nami and Sora/Roxas, but they didn't have "teleportation" fusions). NOT Ven's and Sora's.
