SPOILERS... Vanitas's future influence on Sora

These are mini thoughts/theories... and abstract ones at best.

In future Kingdom Hearts installments involving Sora saving TAV, what if Vanitas was reborn through the darkness in Sora's heart, due to Sora having Ven's heart? Say there is a lot of crap going on (his friends are in danger, the situation is hopeless), and poof! Vanitas appears and offers to make everything better, and maybe even turns Sora to the dark side through coaxing.

On the other hand, in the case Vanitas is reborn, could there be a possibility that he would attempt to possess Sora, finding a way to get rid of any darkness Sora had in his heart to try to recreate the X-Blade?

I know this is kind of dumb, but they're just thoughts.

So, fellow forum members, how do you think Vanitas could influence Sora in the future? If at all.

I doubt vanitas will return. Vanitas was createed through MX, even if Ven regains half of his darkness, i doubt it will gain anew conscious

All MX did was what Xemnas did to Sora; he sampled something out of him. In MX's case, he sampled Ventus' darkness, in Xemnas' case, he sampled Sora's memories. Perhaps in a near future, with Xehanort as a complete being, he will sample Sora's darkness and form Vanitas.

If solely for fan-service, as Vanitas is pretty popular already, I'd say there is a very likely chance he would return. Think outside the box.

your misusing the word sample, sample is to take some, not all.

MX tried to take all of the darkness in ven's heart and made two pure hearts. MX did it differently than xemnas. Plus xemnas made a replica body to host it, MX did what to vanitas? i doubt he gave him a host body, but instead had a image of a body like sora in kh1-kh2

BBS ultimania said the reason why vanitas looks like sora was because sora filled the fractured section.

so he will most likely look like sora again

I'd say he will return. A lot of fans have fallen under his evil spell (because who can deny an evil looking Sora?) and Nomura +his team are one of the only people I know who sorta tries to stay tuned-in to their fan's likes and dislikes.

I kinda like to see him join forces with Pete & Maleficent as a sort of evil rival party to SDG:

Sora vs. Vanitas-pretty obvious
Goofy vs. Pete-shield vs. forcefield
Donald vs. Maleficent-magic users
guest party members vs. world villains-probably won't always be mirror matches here....

Plus you know, it's not like Maleficent's ever gonna accomplish anything on her own again at this rate. Playing sidekick to a Nomura-made antagonist might be her best chance at relevance.

Sora's darkness isn't quite as powerful as Ven's was. That, and it's arguable whether or not Ven's heart technically merged with Sora's (I mean Ven's actual heart inside Sora).

but I'd like Van to return, one way or another.

Ven/Van's heart is in the RoA, I'd say the hearts only fused in essence.

no it's not, the room of awakening has ven's body and soul. thats the reason why aqua made it.

Eraseer rain, you always make vague theories or so, but i think you should at least keep up

Yeah, while his heart's all the way in the RoA. It's arguable whether or not a heart can simply "teleport" itself completely.
