Again, I'm just assuming from the TGS trailer where he says something like 'Even without taking the MoM, no one can beat me!' that he's gotten a little arrogant. Sure, he's always been confident and a bit cocky, but that's why we love him. But something about that line from the trailer just really bugs me...

I find it somehow funny that people make out a whole personality turn just from one freaking line.
From what we have seen about Sora-footage in DDD so far he seems his usual self...and then there's Nomura's line from either the last or before last interview where he said that "Sora didn't change".

Yup. To be fair, those quotes are from Another Day, an extra chapter in the game in which everyone's sillier character traits are really emphasised and exaggerated for hilarious results. It's awesome.

I see...I really need to get my hands on that game somehow.

I'm also eagerly anticipating the trailer - but it's approximately 21:48 for me right now. Hopefully I'll be greeted by the 8-minute trailer when I wake up at 7am tomorrow! I will definitely watch it before I go to work if it's been released.

No. The game wasn't even confirmed for Jump Festa. Keep Final Fantasy news in it's proper section.

I s'pose. But even Sora's body language and facial expression says 'I'm being deadly serious right now.' At first, I thought he might have just been trying to have competitive banter with Riku like the good ol' times, but it does look like he's being completely sincere when he says he's the best thing ever.

About that line of Sora's, I thought he said it because Yen Sid was telling him he had to take the MoM before facing Xehanort. If I were Sora, I probably would have acted the exact same way. To me, the MoM seems like a waste of time when they could be preparing for Xehanort's return. Especially since Sora's defeated him now numerous times. And is doing a lot better than the Keyblade wielders that had years of training.

I'm not arguing with you, but I don't get why people think Sora suddenly thinks he's god's gift to fighting with that one line. You have to remember Blank Points. In that, Sora didn't really seem arrogant at all. More resigned to saving everyone, because it was the right thing to do. He seemed to have really thought the journey over, and is sad to leave Kairi.

IDK. Sora almost seems more mature to me. Especially since he does end up taking the MoM, something he doesn't think he needs to do, to support Riku.

And honestly, Sora's always been cocky. I think that's just how he deals with all the tramua. He passes it off as a joke, and says ridiculous things. Kind of like Snow in FFXIII (though not as bad, I think). And that's actually why I love him. I love him being light hearted even with everything bad going on.

And at least the line's not as bad as this one from the original CoM, "I'll save Naminé, Riku, AND the king…and I'll do it blindfolded! Heartless? Hah! Forces of evil, do your worst!" LOL.

I think all Sora (and everyone) needs to learn is that Darkness doesn't mean evil, and Light can be corrupt like Darkness can. But that's just my opinion

No. That would be cruel. It will come out earlier because SE games don't take six months to come out anymore. Every game after BBS has come out 1-3 months after its Japanese release. (minus Type-0 which will is a special case, and we know for a fact BBS did not take eight months to be localized. It was localized in about three months and the delay of its release was because of other reasons)

SE isn't THAT sentimental, anyways.

Some scenes with both Riku and Sora take place, as well as Master Xehanort appearing. The trailer ends with a boy appearing in an Organization cloak and eventually reveals his face to be none other than Vanitas!

Win. Though probably fan service, win.

You know, I never thought of that. That may be a possibility, although some fans will be disappointed because other Square games have had pretty swift localizations/releases outside of Japan. I personally wouldn't want them to wait because they'd be back to their old habits of long waits between releases.

I actually tried to make mine custom as well, but it was just too small so I left the original image intact.
As compensation I made all parts of my Signature myself except the Moogle (=> Sign made it).
Lol, he's all like: Come if you dare...and I'll stabbety-stab you.

and at 3:32 the guy starts talking about how it was originally going to be Sora who needed saving, not Kairi, with certain lines like "That's right Sora. Your body, your soul, your whole existence... they're going to disappear." and ""Come on guys, we've got to save Sora."


Nomura is known for taking things that have been cut out of previous games and putting it in the next ones (Pride Lands, Pinocchio, etc.) so who knows. Maybe Sora will need saving, like I though ^_^.


If I was to bet on it, Vanitas would say the first line and Mickey would say to everyone else at the end of the game they need to save Sora.
