I agree. I think it's Mysterious Figure and he has some kind of power to make himself look like other people or maybe a reflection of whoever looks at him. Or it could be Xion and Riku is seeing himself in her or something. Or maybe it's Zexion/Ienzo and he's using his illusion powers. Who knows really. Then again it may actually be Repliku.

I'd say it'd depend on how he really looks. I wouldn't expect Repliku to have his hair cut be like Riku's. I would still expect him to look the same as in CoM, basically looking like The Journal (Data Riku)

Repliku should stay dead, let him keep the title of being the only person in Kingdom Hearts to die, and not actually be brought back. He deserves it. D:

My first thought was since Dream Drop Distance has to do with the Data in Sora's heart, that it could be a possible data Riku. Pretty far fetched, but Coded kind of showed Nomura's not against using some stupid reason to make a clone of any specific character.

Yeah, I don't think it's Repliku either, but whatevs~

With all the other characters popping up in the RoS, i think it makes sense for him to be there. Why would Nomura add another new clone character of Riku when he's already got one at his disposal? The only other solid explanation is that it's a Xehanort form that takes the shape of Riku in the real Riku's eyes. Other less likely possibilities are the Data Riku or a Xehanort form that has Riku's body due to Ansem SoD possessing his body for that short time. Again unlikely, but Yen Sid did predict more forms of Xehanort. It would be cool to see Vanitas and Riku-Xehanort side by side in their respective red ad blue dark suits. It'd be Sora and Riku vs,. Dark Sora and Dark Riku!

EDIT: Also the MF and Xion theories are plausible.

I think Grass was theorizigng about the replica program and he pointed something out in game that was interesting. They were doing this program before Repliku or Xion were made and then shifted gears to focus on them, so maybe this could be something from the earlier days of the replica project.

The thing that's interesting about MF unlike the other secret bosses Xemnas and Lingering Will who have special unseen atatcks is that he has barely ANY unique moves to him. Almost every move he uses is taken from someone else or a variation of someone's moves. He uses Vanitas' X-strike attack, Aqua's Raging Storm, Ven's Tornado, Xemnas' weapons, Marluxia's Doom, Sora's Valor form stance, Vanish, Megaflare, Collision Magnet, just to name a few. The only unique attack that i don't recognize is the floating orbs that shoot lasers. Maybe MF is like a replica Blue mage or something and he carries the attacks and appearances of who he chooses.

In the RE:Coded Secret ending, yen Side talked about Xehanort not being alone. Am I the only one who thinks that he was talking about Vanitas?

I was also thinking: what if the original replica program was started to give Terra or MX a new body to put their heart into to get away from the other? They finally get fed up with sharing Terra's body that they make their own body.

XH have a similar attack when you fight him for the last time and Xemnas when he sit in his chair and wear his armor

at first when they posted it I don't think they mentioned it but then Lancelot or someone reposted it and thought it was new. I thought it was weird that someone like him would make a noob-mistake mistake like that so I read it and saw that there was more stuff in the end. that's probably why you missed it.

The other part of the game is looking at the data inside Sora that Ansem the Wise left, right? So, that data maybe in Sora's heart. Now, parts of Xion and Roxas could appear if they inspect Sora's heart (maybe Ven), but what if Vanitas never left Ven's heart and is now in Sora? That could be how he is seen today.

It'd be pretty odd for someone to wear a mask while also wearing a hood. So, I'm pretty sure Vanitas isn't wearing his mask, but I could be wrong.

These creatures that live on the opposite side of the world’s gate, with the dream eaters guidance you can find the Key to Sleep.

On the first journey, the worlds engulfed by darkness were restored. However, for some among them it was incomplete and they fell into slumber.There weren't gates leading to them, and even the Heartless couldn't invade. But instead there was a different kind of darkness in the sleeping world. It is said that the Heartless and the doors to the hearts of worlds are the opposites of one another. Finding the Dream Eaters may lead you to the sleeping keyholes.

Sora: Yen Sid said, the worlds that cannot wake from their dreams... if they can’t wake up, they won’t be able to be reborn.

This is what Yen Sid was talking about, the inside the world's dream it can't wake from... If we don't wake them up, they can't get back to normal.

Joshua: It’s the same, however, it may be different for other worlds, if it’s only one is impossible to say, get it?

I don't think he would be wearing a mask....I don't think he'd be wearing his suit though either if he's wearing an Org. Coat.

Dark Suit=Dark Powers Enhance

It kind of seems....odd to me if he would be. But he probably would be.

Oops, I've been out of the news loop until this morning. Sorry for posting old stuff. But, still, exciting to know it should be out then later today!


Also, dunno if this was already pointed out, but, when you're 3D's site, at the bottom of the page is a Drop gauge with a picture or either Sora or Riku. The Drop gauge is slowly depleting, and when it does empty fully, it switches between them. Probably means it'll work like that in that in the game too, it's just a timer.
