Ansem the Wise says to Aqua “Everything is born from sleep.” What does this mean?
Nomura : In that scene the ones who are calling for “Sora” are the ones who have already disappeared from the world. But in the world of KH there is no concept of death, that for example they are just sleeping within Sora’s heart. If you can just wake them up, they’ll be able to return to the world, they would be “born from sleep”. That there would be a possibility of this, is what Ansem the Wise is saying. Even Aqua, who isn’t in the realm of light, would be born from sleep.

Nope, Xehanort is making a comparison between himself and Sora because they both harbor hearts beside their own.
Xehanort has Terra's and Eraqus's (confirmed) and maybe Vanitas's as well.
Sora has Ven's (confirmed) and either that is the only one, he has another heart we don't know of or Xehanort was somehow referring to Roxas and Xion.
MX's intentions on this all are clear and don't need much explanation, lol.
As for Vanitas, MX told him that forging th x-blade is his only means of "salvation" which doesn't have to be true at all since Vanitas is, just as Ven was before him, just a tool in MX's eyes.
In BBS MX said to Terra that Vanitas is a monster beyond salvation. (Which might of course be also a lie, with MX one can never be sure.
).Vanitas's personal motives may vary but one is for sure related to Ven, if it's revenge for destroying him or another attempt at the x-blade, anything is possible.
Although one has to keep in mind that Ven himself despises Vanitas and will always resist a full fusion so the x-blade would be again incomplete if Vanitas would even get the chance to try forging it again.
No one of the tormented ones will be actually saved already in Dream Drop Distance according to Nomura. DDD is about the Mark of Mastery and the data Ansem the Wise hid in Sora (which will become the key to save everyone).
DDD lays the groundwork for that and the actual rescue will happen in KH III.
Any reason that we're back to Sora's cheesy KH1 smile next to his health bar? Really Nomura?
Nomura apparently has a fetish for the younger Sora-model.
Oh, and it is apparently necessary for the story that Sora and Riku appear in their younger forms in the RoS. Why? We have no idea yet.
Still, I'm gonna have to, like, put tape over that face. I can't look at it D:

The idea that Lea shouldn't be using the chakrams is silly to me. Braig's weapons might have been slightly different before, but they were still actual threatening weapons. Lea going back to using frisbees, on the other hand, makes no sense at all. They might work fine in a playfight, but in an actual life-or-death situation, why wouldn't he keep using the spiky wheels of death Axel used instead?
Well, now I just feel silly.
I really hope Namine has a role in this game. Considering that she restored Sora's memories while he was sleeping (so obviously understands some of the concept of sleep giving birth/rebirth) and is probably one of the only people who may have a clue as to what kind of data DiZ hid inside of Sora, I think it would be negligible not to give her a part to play. I also say this because Namine is inside Kairi, so that would mean Kairi would have something to do. I think the two of them working together to some end while Sora and Riku take the MoM would be a nice parallel plot. Me and my wishful thinking.
Wait a minute, Lea is back?
I'm thinking Aqua destroys Lea's heartless in the realm of darkness in BBSV2.
Data-Naminé already said in Re: Coded that she has no clue about what DiZ's data actually is. She only knows that DiZ planted it into Sora.
Also, on that note and also the notion that the actual rescue of the tormented ones happens in KH III and NOT in DDD here are the explanations on that from the Re: Coded Ultimania:

I remember somewhere, it may have been said that a reason for this was so that even the world's inhabitants wouldn't remember them....or something like that. Someone should try to find the interview/article talking about it.
In the long trailer i noticed that Sora was holding a different keyblade...with a bell...at 3:00, when he's "diving" in the Tron world...

Uh..Maybe you get a bell themed keychain in the notre dame world? lol duh.
Some ideas floating around here is that Red Eyes may be Axel's heartless. Nothing confirmed at all, but seeing Lea (and Ienzo andAuelus) there means that all their heartless were defeated.
Hunter in the Dark is a nice similar name to an Assassin, Axel's job class.
Why would Lea's Heartless be a Pureblood...
Lea's mother was a Witch, his father was a Wizard.
