Anyone starting to wonder if the Foretellers actually were ever designed with faces? I mean this movie felt like the most logical time to see them and still after so long we have yet to see their faces. You know since the foretellers are mythical figures maybe Nomura intends to keep them as just that, "figures", and the explanation in the story for why they wear masks was just to justify why they will never take their masks off.

Now that you mention it... Maybe they have their faces designed, even though were concepted initially without it (With the masks). I don't think their faces will be revealed, but let's wait for UX season two. Maybe their faces can end up being shown.

finally got around to watching the ending. I appreciate that Kairi was shocked and hesitant to be training under Lea. Glad they acknowledged the kidnapping from kh2. Also, I wonder what Donald and Sora were fighting about? Really hope subs come out soon

So it didn't look like much happened in Back Cover. XD

One thing I though was interesting was when each of them had a private chat with Master of Masters, it showed CASE OF LUXU, INVI, who ever was talking with him in the scene, somewhere in the room (and it darn makes sure you see it.)
I thought it was weird at first (I mean when you start with a flask with Luxu's name on it you're gonna think stuff,) but it looks like it's just those particular scenes' titles integrated in.

Wasn't it like that Kairi will train WITH Lea, not under him? As far as I know Lea isn't really teacher material on the Keyblade and I also think that I heard a mention of Merlin.
Other than this part about Kairi though what I heard so far about the "ending" I personally have to say is rather underwhelming and seems not really of much importance compared to Aqua's plight and the possible further developments/implications for Terra and Ven.
Donald and Sora bickering isn't really anything new so I wonder what exactly the point of this is...do they even [I]plan[/I] on rescuing Aqua or are they just throwing a party like at the end of DDD?

the music that played when Aqua was fighting the army of Darksides made for such an iconic moment. Their 'desperation move' was really cool; my good friend Ashton69 and I flipped out actually.

However, maybe they should have made the Darkside bigger? Aqua being able to jump up and hit him in the face sort of trivializes the boss's moveset and game design; and don't tell me it's to 'show how much stronger Aqua is' because that's dumb lol

being able to run up Darkside's arm and hit him in the face was life's greatest reward; imagine if he was so big that the only opportunity to get to his face was to flow-motion glide up his arm. that'd be hype. Still a sick boss fight but probably less enjoyable on standard or beginner

I rewatched the last scene with the MoM and Luxu, and from what (little) I understood:
Luxu was not given a tome because of the task he was given--if Luxu knew the future, it would result in a paradox. (MoM: 君が未来のこと知ってたら、　プラドックス的なマズイことになりかねないから.)
The MoM says that Luxu must absolutely not open the box,
MoM: これ絶対開けちゃいけないやつなんだよなぁ~
telling him about what's inside would be "not good" ("NG")
I'd like to know what the MoM whispered to Luxu near the end, poor Luxu seems so confused (and MoM's "Surprise~!" probably didn't help lol)

Of course, take this with a grain of salt.

I've expected them to not reveal their faces due to both the prospect of Unchained X still going on which might at least partly involve the Foretellers further and the possibly bigger WTF moment if they keep these reveals until KH III or even further into the next saga.
Back Cover is made with the same technology as KH III so there won't be a discrepancy in quality.

The more I read about the MoM the more I am at a loss what to make of him. He does seem to be quite manipulative although in a very subtle way and what I've read about Luxu so far doesnt sound like an "evil mastermind" and the "traitor misusing the Master's teachings" as Ava accuses him of in Browser-chi but more like a slightly confused and lost youth who only follows his teachers orders out of a sense of duty and/or trust.

That was the first thing I heard too, but later on there was some mention about Merlin and them training together as fellow pupils, not Lea being the teacher.
Considering what exactly the mission is and coming just from witnessing Aqua's traumatic journey with only glimpses of what Terra and Ven are currently enduring I am inclined to agree with Donald if that's really what their bickering is about.

I haven't seen where this occurs in the game yet, but holy fuck, Yoko. I was worried that 0.2 was gonna be on the downlow with how dark everything would be but damn, this is fantastic and really does have a horror vibe to it. I love it.

I haven't seen where this occurs in the game yet, but holy fuck, Yoko. I was worried that 0.2 was gonna be on the downlow with how dark everything would be but damn, this is fantastic and really does have a horror vibe to it. I love it.

Yoko is truly a goddess. Her other work for this game was just as fantastic.

So I finished 0.2 and I have to say that I am impressed with this game on UE4. I am greatly looking forward to how Kingdom Hearts III turns out, as the visuals really do fit with what they were trying to do. It just works, honestly.

That aside, I will say that the combat took some time to get used to however, as the revenge values for bosses are very strict on Proud Mode and higher. There's also the fact that movement is a bit... unrefined, to say the very least of it. Like, Aqua runs pretty well and fast and it feels smooth in motion, but there are absolutely no animations for doing a quick turn or pivoting mid-stride so she just kind of stops dead in her tracks for a couple seconds as you redirect her course and only then do you continue running. This has gotten me overwhelmed by many heartless on numerous occasions...

I got used to it after a while, but it honestly is a horrible oversight that I really hope is addressed in Kingdom Hearts III; I'd love a patch but I highly, highly doubt that will be a priority for them ever (nor do I think they should do it, just that it would be nice).

That said, the music is great, the graphics are no longer an issue for me and I will go back and play-through it several times, guaranteed. I'll probably continue my Critical Mode playthrough sometime in the coming weeks, but I'd rather mull over it for a while.

Ah and I am still not done with my clear file yet, as...

There's also a small post-game bit that involves going back and finding chests with pieces of the Zodiac in them and which unlocks a boss rush / endurance run that you can do for challenge #42. It's NOT easy at all, even at level 70+ and even normal heartless can two shot you on Proud Mode.

Oh and like FFXV, there are some frame pacing issues on the original PS4, no idea about the Pro, however.

You know my own disappointment is Mirror Aqua doesn't don her armor. So now we've fought souped up versions of every TAV member but the only one who did have armor on is Aqua. Also now literally the only good guy wielder we've never fought from a main trio is Kairi. I suppose it's too much to hope for KH3 to have a Kairi fight....and on that note I made a related thing because I hate myself and needed to get it out of my head.
