Spider-Man should be white. He should never be any other race, but white. It just doesn't look right any other way.

Are you referring to the badass show known as "Static Shock," Raebus?

Yep thats the one. It'd be awesome if static shock was made into a live action film. :)

This suggestion will probably never come to pass anyway.

That's similar to during the production of Superman Lives (cancelled), when the producers asked Will Smith to play Clark.

Wait....what?

Stan Lee wouldn't approve, and this wouldn't fit at all. I'll keep Wesley Snipes as Blade, as Will Smith as Hancock is good enough.

I would rather just keep roles race specific. Like someone pointed out either it can be weird changing both ways.

What the hell am I reading? Peter Parker should stay white. End of discussion.

Funny you should say that cause this is quote from Stan Lee himself.
“…as far as I'm concerned ... anybody should have a chance to audition for the role. I certainly think [Donald Glover] should have a chance to audition. We've already had the Kingpin in 'Daredevil' portrayed by a black man, where he was white in the comics, [and] we've had Nick Fury portrayed by a black man where he was white in the comics… But not that many people had seen these characters — not that many moviegoers are familiar with them. Everybody seems to be familiar with Spider-Man, so I say that it isn't that it's a racial issue — it's just that it might be confusing to people… but that's a matter for the people at Marvel to take into consideration. I certainly don't want to weigh in on it in any way, except to say I think [Glover] is a fine actor."
