So, I just started watching Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle (the first episode is wrapping up as I watch this), and already my mind is drawing parallels between Sakura and Syaoran, and Sora and Kairi.
Princess who's lost her heart and been rendered catatonic? Check.
A childhood friend, whom it's heavily hinted she's in love with, has to go and find her/those pieces of her heart? Check.
Alternate dimensions/worlds? Check.
The relationship between one's heart and memories? Check.
Not to mention the fact that Sora and Syaoran have the same seiyuu. Hot damn, I just found another subplot for my fanfiction!
...and there will be a running gag about how everyone gets confused whenever Syaoran, Sora and

I would read that fanfiction, if you decided to write it. xD I never noticed how close the two stories were to each other. Nice catch!
Yeah... if I get around to it. xD;; It'll... be a while, as the story in question is the fourth in a series. I'm stuck on the first... and the first doesn't really involve KH at all, except for an unhealthy amount of Shout Outs and Foreshadowing.
