When Riku stole sora's keyblade in hollow bastion, why couldn't Sora use another keyblade?

In the first game in the begining he never own one he just delived it to Riku. But when Riku's heart turn to darkness the keyblade choose the person with more light in there heart. Being sora

Sora actually was the owner of the Keyblade that whole time, Riku's heart was just stronger at that particular moment. When Sora's heart became stronger than Riku's again, the Keyblade came back to him.
As for the OP's question, Sora only has one Keyblade.
When Sora began his journey, he only had one Keyblade, so when Riku's heart overpowered his in Hollow Bastion, he lost it. However, in KHII, after Roxas joins with him, he was able to double-weild, because Roxas was able to double-weild as well.
Since the entire game is about one Keyblade Wielder wielding one Keyblade, I think the answer speaks for itself.
Roxas can dual wield because Sora can dual wield, not the other way around.
Because he only had the one at the time. He doesn't acquire the second till he acquires Valor Form. The point of that was to prove that Riku was the originally chosen wielder but when he chose darkness over light, his heart weakened.
Or, you know, Nomura didn't add the duel wield element until the second game because he didn't think of it for the first game.
Or that. Would have be better dual wielding in the first game with a sucking camera system than in the second with an all right camera.
Umm brah it wasn't really cause Sora had more Light I don't think cause if it went to the person with the most light than it would have gone to a PoH.

the keyblade doesn't pick the person with more light in its heart it picks the person with the strongest heart, being light or darkness, as long as the person doesn't lose themseve to the darkness and has a strong heart they can still wield the keyblade.
thats why riku is a jerk.....at least in kh1(the middle part)
That actually has nothing to do with it. There are as many (if not twice as many 2 per wielder) Keyblades are there are people qualified. I doubt Sora lost his qualification since he gets it back, but he could have wielded another Keyblade if he had one, but he didn't cause he doesn't acquire the second Keyblade until Valor Form comes into his possession

Only one Kingdom Key my friend.
Plus without it how can he change the Keychain to have "another Keyblade" if he doesn't have Kindgom Key in his possession?

Sora lost the Keyblade because it was the KK and only the wielder can use the KK, plus he didn't summon up another Keyblade because no one knew you could do that at the time since they all were just learning what the it could do [except Mickey who couldn't tell them] and the Sora could only use the KK being the wielder.
Also Roxas would have figured out dual weilding anyway since as a Nobody he natually had power and since he's Sora's Nobody that easily gave him supreme Keyblade power being the only one who didn't need an ability to use two.
