Sora’s Castle?

So im playing kh1 again. On the slide show in Deep Jungle, a picture of a castle comes up and Sora says, “this looks so familiar. I dont know why, ive never been off the island.” Is there a reason for this outaide of Ventus? Or is the writing team so hardcore they had a full story setup? (Because Ansem SoD says, ‘there once was a boy who lived [on this island] who sought to leave this worlds boundaries. So he accepted darkness into his heart.’ Which could mean both Riku or Young Xehanort. Which if it were the latter would be insane. So was it Ventus???) I cant see that being possible because you wouldnt imagine Kingdom Hearts to be approved as a full on series in the first game’s development.

Kairi is taking refuge in Sora's heart during KH1. That's why he hallucinates and sees her when she isn't there.

Kairi grew up in the Hollow Bastion castle, so when Sora sees a slide of an old castle, Kairi's memory of home makes Sora feel funny.

Also important to note that this is why he was able to semi dive into some of those memories later when he saw the vision of Kairi's grandmother in the castle library right before unlocking Hollow Bastion.
