wow I'm glad someone brought this up, it had bothered me since I first played the game, but I then forgot about it. well I don't think it makes much sense for it to be kairi because sora was talking about who was going to take down organization XIII, and he thought kairi was going to stay on destiny islands, so there wouldn't be any way for her to get involved. I kinda think it has something to do with Roxas

I think Sora is talking about himself, Riku, Mickey, Goofy, Donald, and Kairi. I mean he is looking for Kairi and Riku, it makes sence. When he said that I understood it clearly. I don't think it's that hard, Kairi is one of the Main Charaters.

NONE at all - roxas wasnt even a figment of his imagination at that point and i i dont think he just mentioned someone who he didnt even know about at all becuase he felt like it - its not roxas .. end of story

Actually, at this point, they were looking to King Mickey and Riku, but not Kairi, as she was safe on the Islands.

Roxas can't tell him anything he was asleep in Sora, he only woke up when Axel died.

I see all of you are forgetting Pluto. A dog that could find its way from Traverse Town, to wherever the hell that path in the grass Sora and company went to after closing Kingdom Hearts, to the World That Never Was, all without explanation, must be pretty special. Hell, the dog will probably go back in time with a letter in its mouth and make VAT chase it at the end of BBS.

Woke up in a way that Sora got to meet him, yes, but he's quite a dominant figure throughout the game. Sora cried because of Roxas when he left Twilight Town; when they find out Kairi's not safe anymore and him, Hayner, Pence and Olette all look at the sun through their orbs, we see him as Roxas, not Sora. It's not that far fetched to say Sora felt Roxas, just like Riku asked Roxas if he could feel Sora. It works both ways.
I think he meant Jimminy... Because for him not feeling forgotten.

i don't see how it could be pluto seeing as how you almost never saw the dog, esp. in kh1 when he's there in the beginning and then shows up in the end, but roxas seems more probable. didn't know he was there, but maybe sora felt his presence within him on a very subconcious level. but even that sounds strange seeing as how roxas was the 13th member of the org.

I agree with SufferingAngel. When Sora left Twilight Town and Roxas' friends behind, Roxas kind of cried through Sora. When Sora was counting the current members of "Death to Org. XIII" club, Roxas mentioned himself through Sora.
The game itself explained it when, as SufferingAngel said, Riku ask Roxas "Can you feel Sora?". In TT Sora feels Roxas' sadness, and in Yen Sid's Tower he feels... I don't know, Roxas' presence or approvement?

The only 'moral support' Kairi ever gave Sora throughout the games was -
1. Mocking him badly on Destiny Islands when he couldn't find the supplies she was f*cking standing over and only had to bend over and pick it up but didn't, instead leaving the job to Sora.
2. Telling him Riku could "take care of himself" after Hollow Bastion
3. Told Riku "You know he's hopeless without us!" in KH2 after Sora just about beat the entire Organization singlehandedly.
So yeah. I guess moral support's out of the question =D
