Does anyone on this forum get a beta code for it? I dont have one, but someone invite if possible.

Anyways, probably not many socom players here, but who knows, I haven't touched this forum in a while. In any case, discuss the upcoming release of this, or other past socom games.

Yeah I know, this new socom looks like it has s3 + ghost recon gameplay combined. But who knows, I just wanna get my hands on the beta. Maybe they improved the gameplay somehow, or something. Like hit detection isn't as retarded like in s3, or any other garbage. Hopefully sniping controls are like s2, not that s3 garbage where you make literally impossible snipes.

I didn't like the add ons. The guns they had in Socom 2 were great. And they should trash vehicles.

Socom 2 guns were the greatest things ever. With enough skill, you can turn what is dubbed a "crap" gun, to a deadly weapon.
Including the m9, and the 552, which were godly if you knew how to use them.

Anyways, I got my hand on a beta code, so i'll update with what I think of this garbage.

Confrotantion freaking sux ass! I can barley ever connect because of the freaking server issues!(yea I know its a beta but I cant even connect to the online menu. takes like 15 tries!). Mabey its cause its my 1st Socom game? It just seems very slow to me! I wanna try it again.But I cant cause of the damn server!

That isn't Socom's fault. That's Sony's fault. If you want to have a fun time and don't know what SOCOM to get, get 2. Socom II is the best, and back 4-5 years ago, it was freakin epic online. But now it's a bunch of cheaters. Then go onto 3. Combined Assault sucks.

Alright, basically, its nothing s2-ish. Crossroads is like, fully detailed in s4, and it still took me a while to figure out i was in the effing red room. I personally like the bland s2 look, but go figure. In anycase, theres add-ons again. Same set up as s3, and you can customize your character, its nothing great.

Yeah, the lag and constant boots and 15 minutes to connect to something is a huge pain in the ass. Hopefully it'll change. The movement is a little "bulky", if you get what I mean. Like its a pain in the ass to sit tight in a nice spot. I tried sniping, which I loved doing in s2, and I dont know what the hell is up with that. I shoot up a guy with an m87 and i get jesus scoped across the map with an ak.

In anycase, no socom, will ever be like s2 again. GAAAAAAAAY.

I've done the freaking update thing already and it took me 2 hours to do that. then it said my data was corrupted and i deleted all my updates and am currently re-downloading the stuff. this is really pissing me off. if this doesnt work.....
