Sometimes Norton doesn't tell you about threats until later when it's doing a full system scan, but by that time the threat should be gone. My Norton did warn me, but I'm sure you'll be fine.

Oh, I forgot to say, I dont use Norton. I use a program my brother installed on it, called McAfee. I dont know how good of an antivirus program it is (i've only had this laptop for a couple weeks), but its free so Im sticking with it for now.

Mine started going crazy around the same time everyone was having trouble with the site and reporting the virus. Just delete your history and cookies for the past month. I cleared my cookies, but I need to get rid of my history.

how do I delete my cookies again?

If you using chrome, click the wrench thing, and on the drop menu, go to clear browsing data....

IE, you go to tools, then internet options, then clear history...

EDIT: Oh, Firefox, I don't use that one...sorry.

On Firefox just go to Tools, then click options, and on the options menu go to privacy. On privacy there should be an option to remove all cookies. I did about 10 or 15 minutes ago.

So did I. But when I go to, say my email or a forum, my login info is still saved.

McAfee should work just as good as Norton, so you should be safe.

Allllrighty then. Thx.
