You played the ending out of order, that's why lol. You were supposed to play as Sora first, get all of your DP to spend on Riku, then get forced dropped and play as Riku for the rest.

There was no way to know the "order" unless I looked it up, which I try not to do to avoid spoilers. What was the extra scene, just out of curiosity?

Just Riku being forced to drop like Sora was. Like I said, irrelevant but a nice little addition nonetheless xD

In The World That Never Was, there's a scene in which, if you don't fulfil the prerequisites, Riku is forced to drop (see p.216). For this scene Mr. Mamoru Miyano who plays Riku ad-libbed four patterns for us. It's not in the theatre so please, fans, try not to miss it (laughs).

Since it isn't in the theater, it is a bit of a cool thing to see. It's like in KH1 when you didn't do Wonderland first and it'd show Snow White being kidnapped rather than Alice, or if you did Monstro after arriving in Hollow Bastion & beating Maleficent, you get creepy!Ansem!Riku rather than normal Riku stealing Pinocchio and Sora shouts "You're not Riku!"
