This is your problem, David.
Get some reading glasses.
Where did I assume people who drink are alcoholics?
Where did I assume everyone who smokes marijuana is a "pothead"?
By calling anybody who smokes a pothead, and anybody who drinks an acloholic you are assuming they are. That is where you assumed. Seriously, don't play dumb. Or I wonder if you are actually playing. Everytime you refer to someone who smokes or drink, you refer to them as such. You never say, someone who smokes weed, or someone who drinks. Like I've said a million times before, smoking does
not mean you are a pothead. In the same way that drinking does
not mean you are an alcoholic.
That would be like me referring to religous folks as idiots, then saying, "Where did I assume people who are religious are idiots?".
Sounds like something that came from you.
It didn't. But if it did, would that make it any less valid? Would my point somehow change in anyway?
I really don't care about the illegal/legalization of alcohol.
However, idiots saying "well if marijuana can't be legalized, than neither can pharmaceutical drugs" should get shot. People DO need pharmaceutical drugs you know.
Some people need pharmaceutical drugs, I agree. Last time I checked, many doctors used Marijuana as a pharmaceutical drug. So, we now agree that some pople use both for medical purposes. They are equal in importance. So, why should one be legal, but the other shouldn't? Afterall, they are the same. Both can help you relieve pain, and they both have side effects. I see the hypocrisy, do you?
