Its just a transition between scenes, no need to be creative on that.

and after looking at the scenes again...the only similarity is the angle of the camera (and even that's a little off)! the train's design nor the people's position in the train are even similar.

What can I say? Trains happen to be a pretty good and common mode of transportation in games. That's all there is. It's a train, there is absolutely no intentional connection here.

People ought to stop making connections out of stuff that isn't there.
