Looking at kingdom hearts 3 criticism, final fantasy characters not included, and much more. If run by a fan service model, every fan will get what they want. Especially with fans that have better story elements than nomura. I know fanservice are notorious in games, but for Kingdom Hearts it could work into their favor. They got by story to the fans, ask what they want, fix the pacing, and what they want added. Heck even drive form would be back if ran by a fan service. All i'm saying kingdom hearts would benefit if run by the fans, especially since company forums exist. The positives are too great than the negatives. Plus the added bonus of no criticism because of fan majority if it does happen. :D a fan service model is what the next saga needs. Please tell me your thoughts, and should kingdom hearts 4 and beyond be leaf by the fans, and not by nomura or square enix. Thanks for reading.

P.S.: I am willing to defend this discussion.

There is a balance they can find.

Nobody wants the fans dictating what the games should actually be. At the same time, criticisms should be listened to.

Fan service is not the answer, but rather just being more thoughtful on the approach of their future projects so they are still getting in their whims and at least some of the whims of the fans as well.

Pretty much what is being said here...besides you can't give to the fans what everybody wants, whereas a large portion of people might want more attention to this character another portion could care less or would dislike so much time being wasted on them.

I think Nomura/ everyone else should acknowledge what the fans have to say though...within reason. Giving 'all' of what the fans want though could place extra strain on Nomura, trying to please as many people as possible. It might also ruin his enjoyment of the series (could we relate this to how tabata felt before he left SE not being able to make his own story)

Yes.
Fans are so divided, too, that it would be impossible to give whatever the fans want because some wishes are complete opposites.

A KH game run by fanservice should have no Kairi whatsoever, but also Kairi as the main character, people dying permanently while coughing up fountains of blood, half of the whole game happening in Atlantis, Treasure Planet and Marvel worlds and having all the previous games' mechanics on top of 20 new ones such as Keyblade armor for everyone including Pluto.
Oh, and every character should profess their eternal romantic love to every other character, but at the same time they should all just be friends. And half of the characters are Kairi's Grandma.

You forgot Star Wars. Also no Disney worlds ever again, but all of them too.

Fanservice is like sodium. You need a little of it to survive, but excess is destructive.
