Personally I think you should just get the 358/2 Days special case if that's the only reason. You may even want to just wait for that to cause they might have some for sale here too when the game comes out (although don't quote me on that).
However it is a bit silly to blow that kind of money on a Japanese DSi just because you like the cover art or whatever it's called. I mean even if you have it to blow that's pretty frivolous. Now if it was the game I could kinda see your point but at the same time I would still advise you not to on the fact that you may not understand neither Japanese or Kanji. However ultimately the descision goes to you for whatever you decide on either.
