Seriously though, the charcters, particulerly Sora, have big hands and feet to resemble classic Disney characters. Sora's clothing is supposed to some what resemble Micky as you can see in my sig. For BbS Nomura wanted to use a more Japanese style.

And Japanese people have really small feet!
I have really small feet myself and when I went to Japan I was estatic to find so much variety in my shoe size

It's supposed to be an age representation thing. The older they get the more normal their shoes are. TAV are already pretty old which is why their shoes look considerably smaller.

lol that's quite funny. Kids hitting puberty...the rest of their body grows except for their feet, which does the opposite and gets smaller...
