So the new episode dropped today.
What I liked: They didn't miss a beat with any of the story, there were no cuts from the manga, in fact they added to it. I do hope this is a continuing trend for the rest of the final season.
I also like the change up to some of the visuals, like being inside a titan (It reminds me of the crappy live action movie).
I looked it up, and the news is that only 16 episodes have been slated so far, but I honestly think that's for part one of season 4. I didn't think they'd ever be able to fit ALL of the Marley Arc up to the current Arc even in 25 episodes. So that's a plus.
What I didn't like: I don't like the 3D titan models all the time now. I think I've just always preferred the 2D art, heck, I'll even take season 2 where they went back and forth with the Colossus.
I also don't like the opening. It had barely anything to do with the upcoming story and nothing involving the characters; I get that it's about war, but none of the visuals made a lot of sense (and what was up about the technicolor and inverted colour thing?)

Spoiler Show
1. I wonder if Eren knows how hypocritical he's being after claiming he's free. He's obviously a slave to the concept of freedom (an potentially Ymir after the last chapter with Armin being suffocated with a tongue...ew, by the way
2. I've also been thinking to myself, "Why do Titans eat people? Why is that their main objective?" Then 135 came out and Armin mentions how its Ymir's will to destroy humanity for the wrongs done unto her. So maybe after dying, her will kind of seeped into the Pure Titans, and that's why they have an insatiable hunger for humanity's destruction.
3. I've been mulling over this theory: What if Eren creates himself in the end? We see him have the dream in the beginning and cry right after, what if his future-self made the Smiling Titan (Dina) kill his mom so that he could end up on the path he is now? And the younger version just got the backlash of those visions from the future? The only way I can support this is with the scene when Bertolt first destroyed Wall Maria, but Dina just walked past him when he was in a very vulnerable state.
