I don't really like the colors on either.
The first is oh-so-sepia
second, the blue just doesn't look good.

maybe a more leveled color scheme? More whites.

Otherwise, great shot.

With a Brightness/Contrast layer, that'd look so much better

Duplicated the original layer, G. Blur at 2px and set to Soft Light at 40% opacity
Brightness/Contrast. Brightness at +14 and Contrast at +12
Apply Image layer, Sharpened
Another Apply Image layer, did some Dodging/Burning
Then a R:13 B: B:76 fill layer set to Exclusion at 25% opacity.

in that order.
Seems like a lot, but it really isn't. 5 minutes of tinkering.

ahhh i see
the advantage of editing in PS rather than in Lightroom
you wouldn't me using some of those edits, would you?

Personally, I think the shot is boring.
Good in the sense of composition and the rules of photography and stuff, but just really boring. :/
