Galbatorix was simply sitting at the table feeling the contents of his stomach swishing around. he felt very satisfied after that meal. It was delicious. " Ahh how wonderful. This is turning out to be a good day already. I am happy now." Galbatorix had just realized that Purg had showed up, but wasn't sure he should talk to him after the night before.

" Well Alexa...........are going to take us, or not?? I love to read. "

After getting his food, Purg walked back to the table and took his seat. Purg noticed Hakura throwing a egg at the rude guest's head. He giggled alittle as Hakura headed back to her room and Purg began getting prepared to eat. Some of the other guest staring at Purg, wondering how he was going to consume his food. Purg placed the food near the mouth of his mask and a mist came out of the mask.

Purg thought to himself "I must be entertainment for these people just by their eyes being glued on me. I don't like this kind of attention but oh well."
The mist started to dematerialize the food and Purg sucked the dematerialized food into his mask. Purg did the same thing for his liquids
instead of drink them normally. Purg wasn't ready to show his face to anyone just yet since it was terrifying for anyone's eyes. Purg noticed Hakura returning and she was looking at Purg while her eyes were twitching.

Terran watch the scene unfold before him. And oaf was making fun of Purg and Haruka stood up for him. The egg looked nice on him. Helped improve the image of his pot belly. Haruka soon left, going back upstairs. And as she did, Alexa came downstairs. She smiled and asked if we were ready. Galbatorix replied excitedly.

"Yes Alexa. Im ready. Could you tell us what the library is like first though?" Terran asked this as he slid from his chair, landing on the ground a little bit harder than he ment.

OOC: Sorry bout the short post... Not in a very RPish mood...

OOC: Well, hate to leave the scene without half the group, but the plot must be advanced! :O
---------------

"Yeah, well, some of us got lucky, I guess." she smiled awkwardly at the comment about her wardrobe. She was still glad she wasn't stuck with a dress. Haruka asked about the Metal-Man and Alexa shrugged.

"I don't know. I haven't actually had a conversation with him or anything..." She still wondered if he wanted to come. He seemed alright. He was seemingly on their side, since he helped them out with the whole hole-in-the-ground the night before, but she didn't know if he'd want to go with them. Oh well, he was smart, obviously. If he wanted to follow them, he could do so at his own leisure.

Alexa grinned, "Alrighty then, let's get this show on the road."

She turned to exit, but turned around again on a second thought. She pulled the map out of her bag and handed it to Aara.

"Here, I'll leave this with you guys in case you feel like catching up or doing some exploring while we're gone," she adjusted her bag on her shoulder, "We can pick up another map when we get to the library, so it's all good."

Then she turned around once more and pointed towards the door, "Onwards!" she said dramatically, stepping up towards that big solid oak door that separated them from the outside world. She pushed it open (a surprisingly easy task--it looked like it would take three men to open but in reality only took one teenager). Once outside, she took a breath of fresh air and gestured to her left.

"As you can see," she said in her tour-guide-esq voice, "There's a lovely spot of cobblestone right here that looks exactly like it did the first time we saw it, instead of having a giant crevice through the middle. It remains one of life's biggest mysteries."

She giggled, despite herself, "And the next stop on our tour will be the biggest library known to man. Or not known to man, in this case. It operates on some sort of blend of magic and technology. Simply enter what you want into their navigation system, and zip!" she made a short slashing motion with her arm, "It'll take you to an arrangement of books and official documents that match what you entered. It works a lot like a search machine on a web... site..." she faltered, "Nevermind--y'all probably don't know what that is. S'alright though."

She looked over her shoulder, recalling which way she'd gone. She began to wander at a leisurely pace down a street to their right.

OOC: Hey Sticky, I'll post both here and on Shadow's Bloom tommorrow at about... 4:00. That okay?

OOC2: I lied... HERE I AM!
-------------------------------------------

"Onwards!" Alexa yelled as her, Terran, and Galbatorix started walking to the door. Terran hung his head slightly and grabbed her shirt and began to tug her along. "Let's not try to make to much of a fool of ourselves..."

She got out of his graps, and with ease, pushed open the heavy looking oak door. As they walked down the street she gave an odd description of everywhere they passed... As like she was being paid next to nothing for the job, but needed the money.

She then mentioned the next stop being the worlds largest library known to man... or other creatures as well. And then she mentioned a web site.

"Is that where spider locations are called in your world?"

And then Terran saw it. The Library, the giant turret with the dragon. He excitedly rushed the door and fell to his knees as soon as he entered. "Look... at... all... the... BOOOOOKS!"

After finishing his breakfast, Purg took his plates and placed them in the kitchen. Purg was intersted in going to the library but he had to stay since he worked at the hotal. But Madame LaFooch came to Purg and said "I apologize but I'm going to have to replace you. The old Head custodian just asked for his job back and he is down on his luck. Purg nodded and said " Well it was fun while it lasted but he needs this more than I do. Let me know if you ever need my assistance."

Purg went on his way and followed the others to the library Alexa spoke of.
Purg looked around the library when they arrived and he said to himself" Hmmm, this reminds me of The Rosendor Library on Earth. Come to think of it, that place has almost all the books and knowlege of the universe." Purg went to the navigation system and looked up "The Chaotic Arcanum". Purg was directed to the villain's section and he began reading about each member of the Arcanum.

"I'm looking at it, Terran." Haruka gawked as she saw the hella building of books. "Whoa... this is surely a hella complete library.... wonder if they have the record of Lalos empire compilation....i haven't read the compilation version yet..."

" Guys this isn't right!!! This page is explaining in detail the way...I-I died!!!!!!"

Twitching again after hearing Galbatorix' sentence. "Whoa, you're serious?" She ran to Galbatorix and look at the page he meant. "... okay. In the count of three, if this is not a dream, i'm going to be buried under a pile of the records from Lalos empire. One, two, three--" She haven't finish when suddenly a whole pile of books fall on her. "Ouch, ouch..." She stands up. Then, a guy slides down a stair. "Sorry ma'am, are you okay? I was not careful... i'm the head librarian of this library, by the way. And please, be quiet so you won't disturb the others, thank you." The guy confusingly say the sentence so fast.
"Uh... it's okay, i've feel how is it pinched by books, don't worry. By the way, mr....uuhh...."

"Paife. Just call me Paife, please." He smiled as the crescent-shaped glasses reflect the sun's shine. "Okay...so, Paife, uuh..." Haruka shrugged. "How often do you receive new books?" She asked. "Oh...well,..."

But before he give the answer, someone call him. "Sorry, i have to go. Enjoy your visit here though." He said before he disappear.

Haruka stands there, the two ends of the double pigtails flies around blown by a wind, twirling around Terran's head. "Oh... by the way, the falling books-- oh. My. GOD!" She froze as she look at the cover. She haven't read the compilation version, no, not that. The compilation version was not out yet, as she remember. But the cover... "Compilation version 2nd print???" She shivered. "Don't tell me the books here are coming from both past and future?"

"Guys, this library is hella confusing. I can't believe they actually have the 2nd print of a book when its 1st print isn't out yet when we died-- which was... around 3 or 4 days ago." Haruka said as she look around and saw an elevator. "An elevator?" She walks to the elevator. "There's a browser here..." She typed 'Ellid', one of the great 4 towers in her origin world. Around 2 seconds later the elevator starts moving and stops in front of a LARGE,LARGE shelf. Haruka walks to it and start looking around. Then she stops in front of a certain row. "Hell no..." She took the book and return to the others. "Guys... look at this book i found up there." And at the cover, carved the golden words : 'Radamantsche lu Orios'

"Radamantsche lu Orios means chapter of worlds, in ancient Miller language, and it was written in year... 3426... and it's said in the first chapter that this is a.... history book." She said. "If year 3426 is HISTORY, then what year is THIS?"

(OOC: Gomen, kinda confusing, but i'm kinda confused myself...)

Jon was about to plead a tad more, when he noticed that Terran was getting up to leave. Jon quickly forgot about Nox's weapon and followed Terran to the library that Alexa had mentioned. As they walked, Jon looked around to take in more of the view that was around the town. In what seemed like no time, they arrived at the library.

"Look... at... all... the... BOOOOOKS!"

Jon was quite astounded himself. He had seen many libraries in his life, some that he had never gotten to visit and only seen in pictures. But this made them all look like insects compared to the amount located here. But his ears soon twitched as he heard Galbatorix yelling.

" Guys this isn't right!!! This page is explaining in detail the way...I-I died!!!!!!"

Jon ran over to where he was standing and looked at the book. Plain as day were the pages that seemed to describe Galbatorix, and his death. Jon walked back a bit, not wanting to take in what he saw. He suddenly backed up into the shelve behind him, causing a book to fall. It opened before his eyes, showing a picture of what looked like, him. "What in the world?" He slowly picked up the book and began to read the article.

'In the year 2904 on the planet of Earth, after the Meteor of 2803, the military began to finally begin expierimenting with gene splicing. There first few subjects were failures, all either too animal like or too human in their nature. But finally, after the first 16 attempts, a success was born. He was dubbed, expieriment 17m. The expieriment showed great promise after living and completing mission for the military until the age of 56, where the final test was done. Vitamins were put into the creature, to see if it could become one with the earth. These scientists believed that with this power, they could control growth itself, and restore the hald of Earth that had been destroyed. Unfortunately, the expieriment could not handle the vitamins and chemicals, and was killed in the process.'

Jon slowly put the book down, grabbing his scar once again. The expieriment that done on me. It was, a failure. That was my death. I was, no. I am deceased. Jon had hated dealing with this fact, but found himself grabbing the book once again.

'Although the only truly sucessful expieriment died at an early age, another was created i it's place. Much like the first, this one had all the same abilities, plus was able to comunicate with the outside world. But like it's proceder, it too eventually became deceased once put through the same tests.'

Jon put the book back and turned his back to the book. Another......like me?

OOC: Yeah, sorries, I've been down and out for days at a time too. ^__^; Jeez, I get off break and suddenly there's no time to do anything anymore~!

"Look... at... all... the... BOOOOOKS!"

"Yeah, that was pretty much my reaction too," Alexa looked around. It smelled like books. She loved the smell of books. Galbatorix seemed to find a book describing the way he died. She wondered if maybe giving them access to this much knowledge all at once was a bad idea...?

"Well, at least you were deemed worthy enough to at least be put into a book, right? That's kinda cool all on it's own."

Haruka was distraced by dates. It had gotten Alexa a bit confused too, but she tended to just not worry about it and believe that the books were coming from everywhere and just call it a day. Her morning had gone reasonably well, and she didn't feel like fretting over something as silly as past-present-future definitions to make it any worse.

She wandered around the bottom floor a little bit. She'd already checked out a ton of the library, but didn't really want to just wait around until it was time to leave. Maybe she could go check out the restricted section? Not to check anything out, of course, but just to see what was there, maybe?

Following the others, Nox entered the room shortly after Haruka. Upon witnessing the magnificent sight, Nox's dreary eyes widened with a spark of disbelief. "Holy crap in a bucket!" Stepping inside and craning her head every which way, Nox tried to count all the shelves, but she soon found out that trying to do that was impossible.

Sneakers skidding across the ground and her dress twirling around her as she ran, she picked up the closest book, a deep mohogany colored volume. Reading the title, Nox murmured, "10,000 Beasts for 10,000 Belles." Shrugging, she pushed the heavy book back on the shelf.

"This puts out bookstore to shame," She whistled, peeking around the corners.

She was about to look for her homeworld, that is until she heard Galbatorix's shaken call. Amber eyes bulging, she darted over, careful not to bump into any of the shelves. Heart thumping wildly, she gazed at the pages, and shortly heard Jon murmur in curiosity, finding some shard of his death as well.

A deep sense of dread coiled at the pit of her stomach, twining around her spine until her brain registered the prospect. Furrowing her brows, she scampered to the 'A' shelf, quickly browsing for Alcheraa. She found it after a book titled, Tales and Times of Alcatraz. She pulled the volume out, skimming through the contents until she found the words, "Flaming Denizen Shakes Alcheraa"

That sinking sensation returned, but curiosity got the better of her. She opened to page 987, and found a visage of a burning city. Her pale hand clasped against her mouth to supress a gasp.

"An uproar began after Dr. Lebora euthenized a young girl, justifying that there was no way to save her, preaching that he was putting the poor fourteen year old out of her misery. Shortly after the girl was injected with the poison, the town fell into a state of despair.

Dr. Lebora was thrown from a window, severe third degree burns all over his body in the shape of handprints. The nurses fleed from the hospital, a few suffering burns on their hands and necks, but nearly all survived. Witnesses report that they saw a giant flaming figure rise out of the earth, two butterfly wings sprouting from it's back.

The city was bathed in fire that evening, fortunately only few were harmed the the blaze, but the blazing 'fairy' as they describe it sank back into the earth, and in the crater where the punisher fell, they found the girl that the deceased doctor euthenized, dead but hands glowing with embers.

People believe that the denizen of fire was a advent, sent to punish the doctor for his unethical acts. They revere the the harbringer, calling it's assault a reminder to respect life. After the fire, the city began to rebuild, greater than before, giving belief that the denizen attacked to prove that life can strive longer then the last, if given a chance.

Cinder's Crater remains untouched."

Dropping to her knees, Nox couldn't take her eyes off the picture, a flaming mass with a small shape inside it at the heart. "It's me..." She held the book under her arm, wondering if Aara would believe this.

However, something else was tugging at her mind as she looked for her witch companion.

Jon began to walk around the library, looking at all of the random books that lined the walls. But unfortunately, he could not concentrate on looking at any of the titles in depth. His mind was deep in other thoughts.

So this is what happened while i was gone. They created another in my place. I don't even know how long it lived, or it's gender for that matter. But why should that matter to me now. I'm....dead.

He stopped at a windowed door that led to the balcony. It overlooked most of the town. He hadn't realized that he had climbed anything in the building, but obviously he had. He watched as people roamed the streets, busy with something to do, with acceptance in their walk. Jon wanted that more than anything right now. But why couldn't he. For the first time in his life, he concealed himself.

"I don't understand. Why do we continue to live once again? Why was i put here now instead of sooner, or in fact, later? Why would they simply make another one like myself? Why can't I accept any of this?"

He looked down at his hands. They looked real enough to him. He took out his knife and cut his other thumb once again, as he did when he found himself on the beach. It bleed, and he could feel the bit of pain in it as well. He rememberd that he had rinsed it in the ocean, and feeling that pain too. He could remember it as clearly as anything.

"Maybe....maybe I disperse from the others. They all seem to accept their deaths. They have purposes, life that they can now live. What would I do with my own life though? Perhaps they have a guard around this town, I could probably join that."

Jon suddenly stomped his foot, now angry with himself.

"No. I can't. That's not my life anymore. Terran said it himself. I am no subordinate anymore. I can live life now. I could...i could do what i want now! I could make weapons, i could command my own squadran. I...I could be a baker!"

As began to smile with true intent at these new ideas, he noticed that he let the blood trickle from his thumb. He looked at his hand, and saw something interesting. It was the scar that he had made after cutting himself with Terran sword. It was.....glowing? But that was impossible....unless.......

"TERRAN!! TERRAN!!! Come look, come look!!" he ran towards the stairs, wanting to quickly show Terran the good news.

((OOC: I figured he had to have some sort of spark for magic, so I'd give it to him here.))

As soon as Alexa mentioned a library, Aara took off in such a haste that Sylph had to dig her small talons into the cloth of the witch's shirt, hastily flapping her wings to keep her balance. She scolded Aara with what could only be an admonitory tone, diving into her red hair and wrapping her tail in a death-grip around her neck.

Aara ignored this, intent as she was on reaching the library. She was a bookworm; the intensity of death paled in comparison to that trait, and nothing was going to change that. Two years of running a bookstore and reading nearly everything that came through it had made her bolt as a reflex to the mention of a library, let alone one of such proportions.

Even with this in mind, Aara was far from prepared for her first look at the library. She stopped dead in her tracks, her upturned grey eyes straining to take it all in, but it was too much; the place was huge! She let one gloved hand rest on a polished pillar, leaning weakly against it.

Sylph snaked her delicate pearly head out from Aara's shoulder, her side of the rapport teeming with awe and uncertainty. As though the vastness of the room had intimidated her, the small drake dove back into the safety of her friend's hair, curling up in her silvery hood.

Slowly, Aara made her way to the stairs, mentally comforting Sylph as she scanned the room. Inevitably, she found herself in the A section, lightly running her fingers over the thick tomes.

Nox was there as well; Aara was unsurprised to see the pyrokinetic, since they both would have surely wanted to read up on Alcheraa.

Reluctantly pulling away from a promising book, the witch knelt down besides her friend and peered at the book in her hands. "What did you find, Noxie?"

Stiffening with a jolt, Nox looked up at her friend. She was still clutching the book in her hands, which were shaking from the effects of her surprise arrival and the startling truth she just uncovered. "A-Aara," She began, swallowing the chills her jolt offered. For some reason, she couldn't summon any words. Actually, she couldn't summon her voice.

Instead, she handed Aara the book, opening it to the page she had discovered. Turning around, she absently walked west, needing a few moments to register this news. "So, that is what happened after I died..." She didn't realize it, but the overhanging lights were growing dimmer and dimmer as she walked into the depths of the library. "The burns. I did that." Her mind reeled, her feet carrying her in some direction she wasn't even noticing.

Stroking the celtic knot around her neck, Nox considered the bright side of the situation. Alcheraa had grown and thrived greater than it used to be. If she didn't cause the fire, then the city might have decayed. Convincing herself that what she did was beneficiary was difficult, but it did make her feel a little better. Only then did she realize that she was in a path of gloom, the aisles stretching endlessley in front and behind her.

"G-Guys?" She called, backing against the bookcase and leaping away with a gasp. "It's just a bookcase, idiot." Clutching her heart, Nox kicked herself, fed up with this newly formed skittish behavior. Thinking back, she had started acting this way right after. "The dream...," She muttered.

Every instinct told her to dash back in hope of finding someone, but she sat down and held her knees close to her chest. "If lost, don't wander around. Stay in one spot until someone finds you." She nodded in agreement, holding her chakram before her. Her pale fingertips brushed the morganite.

Clang!

She crawled back, eyes wide and startled, staring at the fallen chakram and what she had seen in it.
