The problem here is that such a line of thought already exists, and it's known as exogenesis, or the more radical one, panspermia.

The snag here is that guy's "theory" expands on exogenesis with layers and layers of speculation without proof to back up his claims.

this is definetely a crackpot idea. they start talking and then out of no where they throw in this idea that aliens created us trying to use some "big code". this is stupid. it's like playing the "what if" game. what if i walked outside and i got hit by a flying squirrel? what if aliens put us together using some advanced code? blah blah blah.... sorry for the anger..... there is just no proof to back this article up and the people did a horrible job of even trying to prove it. that's all i have to say.
