Ryo is my first para Rp character. He is going on 5 1/2 years old. He has been inactive for about a year now though. Figure I'd write his story. Feel free to post comments. It's a LONG ASS Story.

Note: Story is Incomplete! I may edit parts and phrases to reverse over them for detail and whatnot.

Note: I may not update for a long time, the story itself has been done but it still takes alot of time to type it up just right.

Note:I put up the timeline for the heck of it.

Note: I did Rp all of this story. None of this was made up for filler, this all has taken place amongst me and friends in Multi-Para Rp.

This is the basic history, or just the timeline of events that have taken place.

The Tale Begins...

Ryo's Tale [Rough Draft Part One]
In a distant land, just as far away from civilization as it was barbaric, it was cursed in a constant living status of having ritual sacrifice and endless worship. A simple village not short of being at the peak of flourishment in their harvest and other bountiful treasures that they found in their desert homeland. They worshipped a supreme god so demanding yet merciful to his people that he gave them many fruits of life in return which they accepted. It was the people's custom, their belief that it should be this way for the better of their kind. Yet it was not much longer before it all changed and the peace was shattered within the lands.

A dark omen loomed near as the sky cluttered with clouds and thunder shook the very sands. Tears of rain spoke of something else, as much of a blessing as it was looked upon in their eyes. A tainted satisfaction as though there was little more that they themselves did not know. This brings to light the people, who were strong and full of pride. Every member of the village were women, carrying a variety of jobs to meet the expectations of their basic rural lifestyle. Their god, being an unusual one, started the very heritage that courses through their veins. He was feared yet highly respected; they did not want to ask anything else of him for he already provided many things for them.

A time of promise was at hand though: The fifth male child was born upon the time of the harvest moon. Bearing a male only occurred every several hundred years, a prophecy stating that the boy was the god's incarnation and that he should be considered as the god's own flesh and blood. However, the prophecy would be ignored... the people had to sacrifice the child. It was a tradition that every first newborn of the year be given up to their god in return for his blessings. This having been decided, the mother was devastated; she had become too attached to her son and could not, no matter what, give him up.Instead, she went into hiding for many years, hoping that the boy would be forgotten. For this to happen, she devoted her life to being a warrior of a temple, passing down her ways to her son so he could follow in her path. After a time, she realized her son had hope, a hope to live out his life as she did. The boy's name was to be known as Ryo, signifying that he was in relation to the demon god of their village.

At the age of nineteen, something changed Ryo's life forever, and the incident would never be heard past his own lips. It was discovered that the temple had been raided, shattered into ruins as an ominous chaos distorted it in a variety of ways. The god they had worshipped for so long was found sprawled on the dirty ground, covered in his own divine essence. Pandemonium hit the village hard and several of the people grew panicked and hysterical at the sight.

Some kind of demon, resembling a rather large monster, had been released upon the village, slaughtering whatever stood in its path. It was soon met by a great resistance - the women of the village. They held on to their strength and pride, and marched forward to slay the foul beast. It seemed to sense their will to protect their home and turned to face a woman and her son. None other than Ryo and his courageous mother, both having come out of hiding. Unbeknownst to them all, Ryo was a symbol of hope that their god lived on through him.

[Rough Draft Part Two]
Something was coming up behind them. What it was could not be seen: it was like a great shadow, in the middle of which was a dark form, of man-shape maybe, yet greater; and a power and terror seemed tobe in it and go before it. It's streaming mane kindled and blazed behind it. In its right hand was a blade like a stabbing tongue of fire; in its left it held a whip of many thongs....His enemy halted again, facing him, and the shadows about it reached out like two vast wings. It raised the whip, and the thongs whined and cracked. Fire came from its nostril, as smoke billowed out into the night sky. A lust for blood hungering for more as the behemoth let out a roar in ferocity rumbling the ground and cracking walls of nearby buildings.

"Ready?", the mother whispered to her son. He none other than quaintly replied, "Of course" in a surprisingly calm manner despite the situation. A snap as the pressure within the air built and cracked, the two splitting into seperate directions as the whip thrashed across the empty space they once occupied. Circling it around it followed the boy's movements. It's eyes tracing over his body in his newly fitted battleware; scanning every possible outcome it would result in. Ryo's ears popped, crimson blood dripping out from the very ducts as a screeching howl veered past his body. A quick glance to notice that the demon's blade had buried itself into the ground in another raging attempt. Hesitation wasn't befitting of Ryo's style however as the pain was pushed aside with adreniline pumping, following up as he drew his blade and jumped towards the beast's arm that was withdrawing the blade it had slung. Lashing out it dug it's way past tuffs of fur and indented it's way into it's flesh. Becoming stained for the first time with something never pure or holy; but something that would remorse for all eternity as a sin.

The mother had taken her place, as several allies had accompanied her. Several of them outlining small drawings in the sand around her as a few others kneeled and prayed. All of them were positioned several feet from the battle scene as a precaution. "Rin pyo to sha... Kai chin retsu zai... Zen...", she chanted over and over to herself, filled with hope that she would be able to help Ryo in his heed for power against a foe such as the one before them. A soothing glow flowed throughout the lines. The drawings beamed with an impending light as they set into a growing power that readied itself for the approaching epic.

Claws wrapped around Ryo's chest, their tips piercing straight through his armor and into his flesh. In one quick moment, Ryo was tossed away from the beast, and its claws returned to its side. Ryo flew through the air and a loud noise was heard as he made contact with a neighboring building. The air was knocked out of him, and his head spun while his vision grew momentarily hazy. He lay in the sand, pain coursing over his body as he sputtered a few seldom coughs and gasped, trying to suck in what air he had lost. He felt the blood trickle down his jaw. Regaining his poise, he pulled himself together and mustered what strength he could for another assualt to give the others what little time he could give them. "I...might not make it this time, but I've got to keep going", he spat out, the words mere encouraging whispers to himself.

The time was nigh as the mother's chanting was near an end. Having to keep a steady pace in words and not hasten was important if not all but necessary. Brighter and brighter the lights grew until she was engulfed into them. Burning as bright as the sun as the preparations were complete. The signal was given as the followers ran near the battle and shouted to Ryo with as much pressure as their lungs would allow. Mere muffles to him as the words rattled in and out of his tattered body, but they were more than enough to let him know what would need to be done. However, everything wasn't going according to plan as Ryo delayed far too long. The beast marched onward toward the glowing light. Only a few feet seperated the source of the light from the creature as it pulled back it's razor like blade ready to strike. The followers took up their weapons again; bows pulled back by nimble fingers, and the arrows were released at the beast. Ropes trailed behind the arrows as they headed over the creature to pin it down. It wasn't enough though as an idle claw swept across and swiped them all from the air without so much as batting notice to them.

[Rough Draft Part Three]
The process was already underway and couldn't be stopped. The chanting didn't so much as cease although immediate danger lurked in front of the mother. "On vajra dha-,"she continued muttering, but was interrupted as a blade came whirling down through the air. Fear, a desolate and horrible feeling turned in the pits of her stomach; but she wasn't perturbed as her eyes beamed bright with more than just hope but love. A love for her child and all of her people, that they would one day continue on in peace and prosperity as though this day had never occurred. A pause as though time had stood still if only for a moment. "Got'cha!" Ryo shouted out as he had made a surprise dash for the creature. It jerked back and screeched in agony as Ryo had jumped upon it's back and rammed his blade through it's spine. Twisting back and forth onto the hilt of his weapon to pull and render as much as he could. A feeling that they could actually win aroused in the followers as more arrows launched and imbedded themselves into it's shoulders and across it's legs pinning it in a hold that it would fall to the ground. Struggling to break free, the ropes began to crack as though the real fury within it had awakened. "...arma kiri shawa", whispered out past the mother's lips as they curled into a smile. A stray tear ran down her cheek, as her last breath was drawn. The light expelled itself as it took off into multiple directions. The lines forced their ways up along each individual grain of sand up to the beast.

Now shrouded within the light, the beast was enveloped by the bright glow until it's brightest point and then a flash burst off forcing blinding light off into all directions for blocks to come. Once it began to dim and visibility had returned to the people, all that was left of it was a small red gem half buried into the sand. It was a perfectly round ball with a small tail that curved off of it. A perfect yin to balance the yang it left in the world to live on. Ryo, still wounded from the battle, picked it up, oblivious to everything else as his curiousity ran wild in him. The center piece of the ball glowed as a swirling mist brewed inside the almost transparent gem. It was over, at least so it seemed. Ryo's mother was gone, nothing more left behind than the trace of her footprints in the sand where she stood. Her life had been stolen to put away such a menace as this. It would be daybreak soon enough and the rest of the followers returned home to slumber till dawn before they would rebuild. Ryo was given time to fully mourn for his loss and was given his freedom to live on. So did the night end, filled with light sobs.

The sun had risen and everyone was up and about again, prepared to start over and rebuild. A select few leaders of the village had gathered to discuss what there was to do now that their god was gone for good. Then it was finally decided that one thing was inevitable. For the better of themselves and to minimize what they had already lost, they approached Ryo. Around his neck was a make-shift necklace, the beast's gem dangling from the end of it. He came out from the shadows, where he had been lurking, to speak with them as well. "I'm going. This won't be a safe place for me to be in anymore," he spoke of it as though it was his duty. "But where will you go? What will you do? You're just as much one of us as you are of our god," they pondered as they profused their words onto him. "I don't know, but if this thing ever gets out I'd never forgive myself. I won't let my mother's death be in vain nor will I let the rest of our people have been sacrificed for nothing," he muttered beneath his breath as though stress still weighed heavily on his shoulders. With that having been said he didn't wait for them to respond and shifted his weight. The leaders watched him take shallow steps away from them, from their village. This was his burden to bare, he didn't question why it was this way, nor did he try to change it. It was his fate.
