Rumour Has It: KH3D release date July 27th/Summer 2012

Man, now I really need to get that 3DS.
I must admit I'm a bit surprised, I was expecting more like end of 2012/2013.
Then again, there was 9 months or so between BbS.
I really hope the EU and Us release is at the same time,
I don't want to get an American 3DS just to play the game asap.

SE France has changed the date on their shop page again to just 2012.

Also they've opened preorders so if you live in France and want this game, you can order it there.

I think I'll sit this one out. I really didn't want to resort to watching everything on YouTube but there isn't much i want to play on the 3DS especially now with black and white 2 confirmed for the DS.

Black and White 2 is a quick cash in. 6 generation will be coming soon enough and it will be for the 3DS just watch. In fact the creators of pokemon have said that 5th generation would be a short one. It's all an attempt to quickly milk the rest of the DS owners before they move on to the 3DS. But you should wait because one day 3DS XL will come out with that second built in analog stick

There really isn't many handheld games i would want to play anymore. I played my DS religiously and my plan all along was to stop with pokemon Gen 5. 3D is a gimmick (regardless if you can turn it off). I would just be buying another system that will collect dust (just like my PSP).

No, they haven't. Learn to back up your "facts" with actual ones sometimes. A new generation comes every four-five years and Black and White 2 are actually full sequels to Black and White instead of jut retold third versions. It's barely been a year since Black and White have been released I don't really understand how making a sequel to a game on the same console before it's dead is a cash in. In fact, you should be glad, most companies have you trying to purchase new consoles to participate in buying the aforementioned sequel. I really don't understand how trying to make a sequel to games is milking when they introduce new features in each installment. People love it and they buy it. You wouldn't stop producing installments for one of the best-selling video game franchises in history.

Back on the actual topic, I just knew it would be a Summer release! I would prefer it to be a little towards early July or late June since that's when my summer break starts, but I can personally deal. But I can tell that it'll be a pain waiting for the strategy guide and posters to come out. I REALLY need a DDD poster for my room now!!! Im going to need to start doing chores again to make up some hard cash fast.

They experimented with the main gameplay and benefited the story. And I just love how you can't provide any evidence towards the proof that I've given. If you think it's bad, then fine, it's just an opinion. But don't go stating it like a fact to try to act dominant in an internet argument. I could pretty much counter everything you say. However, I don't feel the need to derail this thread over such a petty discussion, so i'll just leave before I waste this thread's potential. Just don't act like an opinion's a fact and pull "facts" from thin air, I can guarantee you that it leads to a future of misfortune.

Ohgodohgodohgod this is like the worst timing ever. If it comes out in July, it's going to come out WHILE I'm in the Philippines, not before, so I won't have anything to do for the plane ride unless I pick it up there, and I'll be able to play it on the way back. You could argue Re:coded because it was originally a cell phone game, but it didn't really add to the main story except for like the tail end of the game. 358/2 Days was a cash in plain and simple. It was pure fanservice and the plot was really shitty to justify not messing up the real kingdom hearts timeline. I seriously think that game caused quite a mess in the kingdom hearts timeline

Funny, considering I replayed 2 after beating Days and there were several things in the opening that actually made more sense with the knowledge of Days.

If that's muddling up the timeline (when it actually explained a few things) then I don't want to see what you would consider a real mess.

i swear it better be released for NTSC and PAL regions at the same time or i'll get really jelous i dont mind if they are like one or 2 days apart like they did with coded but please SE dont do this to us aussie's just cuz we aren't a popular place to sell your francise. well acually i have no idea how much SE francise we aussies buy so i dunno.
