RTS game?

Can someone suggest me a best rts game like AOE the rise of rome? Thanksksk!

I've always been partial to Command & Conquer and Starcraft myself.

i am trying aoe 2 but it is very difficult for me, and starcraft and comando difficult too ((

Army Men RTS is a good game for the nostalgia.

I've heard plenty of good things about Tooth and Tail, apparently it's designed for controllers.

However, that's not the controller-based RTS game I'm gonna recommend.

Nor is it anywhere near "the best". But hot damn, does it have some oomph.

Rise and Fall Civilizations at War is pretty cool. In many ways similar to AOE + great feature that from time to time you can play as your main character (eg Achilles) in TPP perspective. Epic


However, the Age of Mythology is the most similar to AOE, but in my opinion it's a bit worse.
