This one might not be destined for battle, but I want to give the character a shot at it. Edits will probably be made to make it a little more detailed unless the battle starts before I get to it.

Name:
Selene Linnet

Age:
18

Appearance:
TigLogo.jpg

Weapon:
Sickles - Selene's most basic, but in actuality, least used weapons are two, normal sickles which she keeps concealed under her robes.

Bow and Arrow - Arrows are made of a light metal, and tipped with silver.

Tarot - Selene's signature weapons while on the hunt. A deck of 78 cards, each portraying a different trait, or possessing a unique quality or concept. The order of these cards is unknown to even Selene, and each one grants her a power on the basis of its character, or meaning. Each power can only stay functioning for a short time (*the time limit here will be three posts with Selene), and only one can be at work at a given time.

Examples of Tarot Powers -
1. The Fool - The Fool is a card which is representative of the beginning of a journey. The character of the fool is as one that is not afraid to act in an unconventional fashion, and the demeanor of the character can be described as a child of sorts. Upon the drawing of this card, Selene enters a sort of drunken stupor. Her mind becomes scattered and a bit out of her control, as does her telekinesis, and her telepathy and premonition becomes lost entirely. But her body and spirit, in an effort to balance out on this loss of mind, enter a state known as "impervium", which causes Selene to maintain a strong resistance until the effects of The Fool wear off.

2. The Magician - The Magician represents a power of creation and destruction. The character is signified by his knowledge, and ability to manipulate the elements that make up the world. The drawing of such card results in the full loss of Selene's psionic powers while she is in the Magician state, and her psionics are replaced by conjuring and spell casting.

3. The Moon - The Moon represents the concept that things are not always as they seem, the very card itself tends to lead towards a misleading nature. The physical moon is, in itself a misleading figure, as it gives off no light of its own, though it appears to. The effect of such a card is the boosting of Selene's telepathy, granting her the power to create illusions, not only of the eyes, but of the ears, and touch as well.

4. Death - Despite its name, Death does not really represent Death, but represents transformation. In the case of this, the transformation is that of the soul moving on to the next level of life, or afterlife. Selene, gifted with this, becomes such a person that can release a sold into the life beyond. Her sickles grow into full scythes, and the blades, if on target, create a wound through which the soul of the victim can escape their body, and into the life beyond.

5. The Sun - The Sun could be considered the contrast to The Moon. While The Moon creates illusions, The Sun brings forth a light that vanquishes them. Thus, and illusion can be broken with this card's power.

6. The World - The culmination of the other cards in that it is the union of the body, the mind in its fullest, and spirit. Always the last among the Tarot to be found among the pile, it's powers aren't entirely known though it could be maintained that the gifts of this card are the product and union of the those that come before it.

*More will be added if necessary, but to go through all of them would be quite the mountain to climb.

Abilities :
Selene Linnet is, by all stretches of the imagination, a psychic, and a seer, gifted with the abilities of telekinesis, telepathy, and, of course, precognition. She has also shown some signs of retro cognition, though this has often been attributed to her telepathy.

Telekinesis -
The most standard, and often spoken of psychic based ability, this refers to the power to give motion to inanimate objects without physically touching them. As such, she is not bound by her own physical strength when using this, and can move an object as fast or as slow as her mind desires. This ability encompasses the ability o levitate, and all out fly, though she can't move herself nearly as fast as she can move other objects, as her body could never withstand the force of such motion. Her telekinesis also enables her to mentally push her foes.

Telepathy -
The skill of forging mental connections with others, usually resulting in the transfer of her own thoughts to others, though this could also allow the thoughts of her target to flow into her own mind, provided that they are within a certain range, and within her line of sight. While she can feel the thoughts of multiple people at once, this is a highly impractical field, as so many thoughts occurring at once creates mental clutter, and can potentially disable the brain wave which results in her telepathy. She can hold some influence over the actions of others by means of implanting thoughts within their mind, though this is far from mind control, as her target is still free to act on their own accord if they so desire, but may be put under the temptation to do as instructed.

Precognition -
This is by no means the traditional precognition ability, as it is in fact more of an unconscious knowledge of an event to come. Selene is unaware that she has the knowledge of the event to come until almost moments before it is about to happen, often such that she has little time to prepare for it. Larger scale events can be sensed by her earlier (she'd be able to tell when war was going to be declared roughly a month or two before it actually happens).

Supposed Retro Cognition -
Selene has shown some signs of retro cognition, as she once managed to list the names of roughly one hundred troops that died in the battle at Gettysburg, and roughly fifty that died on the D-Day invasions. This was an isolated incident, and she was a a trance like state when it happened.

Bio:
Selene Linnet was born into what was essentially an aristocratic family. Her father was a politician, and her mother was more of a homemaker, and caretaker of the children, as the father was too busy with work to spend time at home for too long. But he was also a corrupt man, who had tarnished the lives of multiple people over the course of his career.

At the age of five, Selene made a shocking "prediction". She went into a trance state, and spoke, in a harsh, almost demonic voice: "Daddy is going to die today. People are angry with him, and want him dead." No less than two hours later, Mr. Linnet was found dead an the Senate steps, a bullet wound through the top of his head.

The prediction was a shocking event for her mother, who wasn't entirely sure how it had happened, and was even more at a loss to understand how her daughter couldn't remember the prediction after the fact. From that day, more strange things started happening. Pbjects started moving around the girl, as though gravity was running a muck. Selene's thoughts were being heard by others at times, and their own thoughts were being heard by her. Selene also began to develop a rather discomforting interest in topics such as gypsy works such as Tarot cards, and crystal balls, and even asked for a tarot deck for her birthday at the age of ten. *This is the very same Tarot deck that she uses as her weapon.

These issues were eventually rectified when a fellow psychic was hired to "train" Selene in the control of her powers. Being an intelligent girl, Selene picked up on the exercises quickly, and was soon an accomplished psychic. Wanting a way in which to utilize her new abilities, she became a bounty hunter.
