IIIRC Cloud, and Roxas mentioned during different points in Kingdom Hearts II how lucky Sora was being he keybearer and what not but looking at it from a logical point of view (and exposing ourselves to spoilers) Riku is really the lucky one. Thanks to Ansem the wise's machine exploding in KHII he avoided sharing the same fate as Braig, Saix. In otherwords becoming a soul jar for Xehanort.

I'm not so sure that he would have been a prisoner anyways... Look at Riku whilst under "Ansem's" control, he fought his presence AND WON! But yeah, I completely agree

Isa doesn't seem so lucky... Marluxia's body seems to be trapped inside a particular room, preventing his somebody's return... and plenty of others

Yep, and Ventus doesn't fare any better with having his heart shattered twice and also "out of order" for over a decade.

Not to be rude, but I HIGHLY doubt that.

If anything, I'd say anyone who went through the original keyblade war went through something that might have been 10x worse than what Xehanort's doing now.
