Hello peoples! Let me first apologize, my laptop failed on me so I couldn't give you the chapter yesterday. So right now I'm using the house computer, and I hope it works because this keyboard is driving me crazy alone, I just hope this computer doesn't act like an idiot on me.
Anyhoo! On with the story!

Part Five
Riku and Mai: Birth
Ch. 3
He had been to seven worlds, none had what he was looking for. None of the worlds had Mai or Dawn and Dusk there.
Riku was starting to lose hope. Mai was nowhere! They were traveling through corridors, not gummi ships, so they had plenty of time to search each world. And because Ninja and Hurricane had the amazing powers of speed they searched three or four worlds alone by themselves. Still, Mai was gone.
Riku’s tail slid against the ground. His lion head hung low, he walked away from Simba with sad look. He opened a corridor and was back at Disney Castle, the others waited there, clearly they found nothing.
“No leads huh?” Riku asked.
“No,” Sora said. “But I know we’ll find her!”
Riku glared up and then sharply turned his head away. “Stop being so optimistic,” he said under his breath.
“C’mon man, she’s alright, she can hold her own,” Sora said.
“Sora be realistic here! Mai is gone and we can’t find her, and I alone searched seven worlds! And all together we searched every world including ones we never been to! What on earth makes you so silly I’ll never understand! My wife is gone! She’s going to die soon if we don’t find her! And-” Riku cut himself off, making a fist. “Just leave me alone!”
No one blamed Riku, no one judged him, they knew what was at stake here. They understood his pain and frustration. Sora although hurt could only understand him more. Sora then understood that Riku was in the darkness of this, there was no light until he saw some proof she was okay.
Ninja appeared and bowed to Riku, whom was walking away, “Riku,” he called from his bow.
Riku turned around, “What?!”
Ninja remained knelt down, “There are two worlds we haven’t check, Yen Sid’s castle and Twilight Town.”
Riku turned to him. “You tell me this now?!”
“We double checked every world we have searched, reviewing the worlds we learned those were the only two we did not check.”
“Maybe we should talk to Yen Sid,” Mickey suggested.
“Yeah, that is his world…” Cloud said.
“Yeah, we should go but you guys should stay here,” Mickey said.
“King Mickey, I think you should be more specific,” Kairi whispered.
“Oh, you’re right!” Mickey smiled, “All those from the Final Fantasy Galaxy go back home.”
“Who’s bright idea was it to call our side of the universe Final Fantasy?” Tidus asked.
“I don’t have a clue,” said Arc, “And I’ve studied many books from all of our worlds, I’m still trying to figure out where the Fantasy part came in.”
Bartz Klauser shrugged.
Mickey nodded to them and they were de-summoned and back home. With that being said, only Sora, Kairi, Riku, Doki, Raven, Ninja and Hurricane were still in the room.
“Alright, you guys go ahead, I’m going to check out and see if I can open the door.”
Doki looked at the King, “Door? Door to what?”
“Heart Haven, Mai told me how to do it.”
“Oh, be careful, it might just summon Heartless.”
“Yes, I am aware,” Mickey nodded.
“Okay, let’s go.” Riku groaned and opened a corridor.
Once on the other side Riku and the others were at Yen Sid’s castle. Riku looked at the tower that was before them. It was tall and although it looked like it was only a few stories tall it was really more than that. Magic has it’s ways one could guess.
Riku went to the door and walked in. The stairs was on the others side of the room. Riku didn’t wait for the others, he wanted answers and quickly.
Riku walked up the stairs and was soon in Yen Sid’s room.
“Ah, Riku,” Yen Sid greeted him before Riku fully opened the door. “Why have you come at this hour? Are you in need of help?”
Riku bowed and paid respect, “Master, we’ve been searching for my wife, Mai, for nine days now. There has been no sign of her and we were hoping you could pin point where she was. We don’t have much time because she could give birth any moment and when she does her kidnappers will be able to kill her.”
Yen Sid nodded, “I see,” he could hear the restraint in Riku’s voice. Riku was trying so hard to keep calm and respectful. “Riku, the world you have not checked is the only world she could be on. Twilight Town, check there and see if she is there, I can also tell you that she’s still alive. I sense that she is surrounded by light but other than that I can’t help you.”
Riku blinked, he didn’t think Yen Sid would answer so quickly, He thought Yen Sid would waste his time with riddles. “Thank you! That was more help than you know!”
Riku ran out the door and came back to bow to him. “You’re welcome, now go,” Yen Sid waved him off.
Riku ran down the stairs and met the others. “Guys! Twilight Town! And I think I have an idea of where she is!”
“That’s great. But what did Yen Sid say?” Doki asked.
“Mai’s still alive! We have time but we got to get to her!” Riku kept running pass. He dashed down the stairs until he was outside, the ghostly train waited for them. Riku held the door open for the group, they got in the train and all but Riku was sitting.
“Riku, sit down,” Raven asked.
“No… I won’t rest until Mai’s back in my arms.”
Doki looked in Riku’s mind, he winced when he saw Riku’s thoughts. “Riku, please stop,” he said turning his head away and holding his hand up as if to stop Riku. “Think positive, I’m begging you.”
Riku groaned. “I can’t help it…” Riku sighed after his groans didn’t affect Doki. “Mai… I’m worried about her… and I can’t help but think like that… she’s slowly becoming human from the way she looks and she’s weak… and we don’t know for sure when she’ll have the baby… I wanted to wait for this day to come… I wanted to wait years…”
Ninja sighed. “Riku… I’m sure she’s fine…”
“She wouldn’t be in this mess if you were watching-”
“Riku, stop, look, he’s hurting as it is, Mai has done many things to the Havens, and that means him too,” Doki said. “Look, because of what Mai did I can’t read Raven’s mind. Mai’s making the rules, and although I have no clue how she got the pregnant, I can promise you is that any Haven can have children now. Mai is okay, and don’t blame him for her going missing, you can only blame Dawn and Dusk for being strict with their ways.”
Riku heeded Doki’s soft words, Doki’s words were soft and calm but strong and like a sword that stabbed into Riku’s heart and ears.
“Did she change your life, Doki?”
“I found Raven, didn’t I?” Doki smiled, he stood to meet Riku’s gaze, he rested his hand on Riku’s shoulder, and gently tightened his grip. “Riku, because of Mai I found the cure for my deadly mood-swings. Mai made Haven a better place and I owe her my life, and if you’re married to her I owe you my life as well.”
Riku grinned, “Doki, ever since you were cured you’ve made nothing but pure sense, everything you say makes sense, and I don’t know what happened to you but I’m glad I made a friend like you,” Riku rested his hand on Doki’s shoulder. “Doki, thanks, for everything…”
“No need for thanks, friends do that all the time,” Riku smiled at Doki’s words.
The train stopped and they pulled into the station. The group walked out of the train that now looked like a normal one and walked to the center of the town.
Riku summoned his blade and groaned.
“Riku, do you have an idea of where they are?” Doki asked.
“Yes,” Riku said, “If she’s surrounded by light there is only one place with a place like that.”
Doki grinned, “The old Mansion, the one Ansem used to live in with you.”
“Yeah… I have a feeling they’re holding her in a place of light because they know the baby will grow faster.”
“Maybe…” Doki agreed. Doki summoned his KingdomKey and walked next to Riku. “Riku, go on,” Doki stopped and de-summoned his blade. He turned to Raven and sadly smiled.
“What’s wrong?” Raven asked. She could tell something was wrong with him. It was as plain as the nose on his face.
“Raven, I need you to stay here,” Doki said.
“What? Why?”
“Because it’s dangerous…” Sora filled in. He had been aweful quite during the trip and those were his first words, he passed Doki and Raven with Kairi at his side, they followed Riku’s lead.
Raven groaned, “Kairi’s going,” she pointed out. “Why can’t I?”
Doki sighed, “Raven, Kairi has a Keyblade… you don’t… and… listen, I might not come back. I don’t want you to see me die… if it comes to that.”
Raven started to cry. “Doki… why are you thinking like that?”
Doki held her, he knew it was harsh but he couldn’t lie to her either, “I’m saying that because it’s a possibility, I might not come back and I don’t want you to see me die…”
Raven embraced him, “I’ll stay if you swear to come back…” she said.
“I can’t keep that promise…”
“I can’t live without you,” Raven said.
“Raven, there’s no way I can’t breath without you. I know for a fact that if you die I will kill myself. There are no questions asked. I need you alive even if I’m not.”
Raven cried more, “But what about me?!”
Doki smiled and kissed her forehead, “I swear I do everything I can to come back.”
Raven was wide eyed. She stood frozen as her beloved walked off to what might be his doom. But ever fiber in her told her to stay… at least for a while. Raven found a bench near by and watched him disappear beyond her sight. ‘Don’t die on me, please don’t…’
