Ya it was easier mainly because your deck was automatically set out for you, but I liked Sora's story better.

Who else thought that Riku's story was way easier than Sora's?

I wouldn't say it was easier you just got more help. Your deck was automatically laid out for you and you had dark form, etc. Plus the story was shorter. I thought his story was more interesting personally watching Riku's internal struggle with his darkness.

wrong, he could make sleights after winning duels.

still, not without duels. He couldn't be the same way as Sora, and just stock 3 cards and have a sleight.
