Is Darkside Chronicles more DLC or something?

And yeah, I'm doing a quick runthrough again with unlimited pistol. IT doesn't sound like much, but really, unlimited anything makes the game way easier.

No, Dark Chronicles Is suppose to be, I guess a remake of RE2. It's suppose to be made for the Wii.

Really, You can play as Claire Or Leon.

Though it'll be all in first person shooting. Like UC.

Plus DLC for Resident Evil would be the one that comes out in a couple of weeks, Which is Versus mode.

I don't know how it's going to work out. But I think it's going to be like the "Chris & Sheva Vs. Wesker & Jill" Sorta Thing. It will also the have Multiplayer Online-Offline function or mechanic thing as well....Yeah I'm no good at explaining this but if you look it up you'll find out what I'm talking about.

The "new" RE seems pretty good, but I was never a fan of Leon. I prefer Chris. Leon is a cheesy son of a bitch.

Plus, y'know, I've said it before. Chris is the one man I'd sit on top of rather than underneath. I love him.

Re5 was possibly the least scary game I have ever played. Also at the end when the infected had guns it ruined the whole thing for me.

Well the enemies were said to be more intelligent? than those of the Ganados.
I think, I'm not sure.

Well it makes sense for them to use guns. But at the same time it completely took the fun out of it. It stopped being RE completely at that point. See the Ganados were okay because they were like zombies only they could use simple tools to stab you with. Unfortunately the only logical step is to arm them with guns at some point. But that made it even less of a survival horror game than it already was.

Plus they took the scariest thing in Re4 and cut back on it's use heavily.

Hm yeah. But the ganados also used Rocket Launchers. and Gatling guns. So doesn't that count as use of weapons as well? But then, they didn't use them very much. So I see your point. Yeah, it's not scary but it does have some fun in it.

Ugh I hated the Regenerators so much, everytime I'd enter a room and heard their breathing I'd just want to put the controller down. It wasn't because they were hard, it was just because I never put that inferred scope on my sniper so I just shot them full of bullets until they died, yeah I never figured out there was an easier way to kill them. They weren't all that hard I just hated wasting ammo on them.

There were Ganados at the end of Re4 with guns and stun rods as well though, although it was more spread out between the big guys rather than everyone. You have point.
My real beef with the whole thing was that there wasn't enough variety between mini bosses.
I mean every chapter in 4 essentially gave you a new "mini boss" like infected to fight, but in this game it was more the same times throughout. Hell even the parasites that came out of the Ganado's heads in 4 had several varsities, but in re5 you really only have 2.

I mean, it DOES make sense, but I agree completely with Thor. Did NOT like it.

Mercinaries starts to be a pain, but after you play a level a few times, it starts to get easier. I hate Ruperts, though.

We seriously had waves of 3 to 4 executioners, and back to back those things start to be a problem.

So, I bought RE5 today for my PS3.
The reviews of the game made me interested in buying it and I expected it to be an enjoyable game...and it is.
It's bloody awesome. I like every aspect of the gameplay, minus the standing and aiming.

I'm currently at the part where the Chainsaw Majini appears for the first time and I'm playing the game on Normal.
I've upgraded the shotgun and sniper rifle so far. I use those weapons the most. The handgun I use only when I've ran out of ammo of my main weapons or when I'm facing a weak enemy that can be killed in a few shots.

well,with the help of Proper Artist i beat the game a 2nd time in less than 5Hrs to get the Infinite Rocket launcher. and i got all the emblems,costumes,almost all the trohpies (aside from the VS one's). i got the Gatlin Gun and the Bow for Chris and Sheva. And besides the last 2 levels (6-2,6-3) i played with the AI (on normal) and i didnt have any problem with her :l.

im most likely gonna do a Professional run next. idk if im gonna get the VS DLC though yet.

hmmm,since i have the Mag. unlimited (the one you used) Roket laucher,gatlin, and other unlimited ammo guns. We could probly do it inl like 2 or 3 Hrs. i finished the 1 level on Pro. just to see how it was and i didnt get hit once cuz of all the guns i had i but i found out (just to see) that it does take out alot of life when you actully do get hit. I go back to level 1 alot though cuz i get tons of money especaiily fighting the Executioner and all those 'unlimited' Majini
