i was reading a report about AC release date, according to the report AC has been delayed, to a november release, (which means even so there's a delay AC will be coming this year, meaning that we won't have to wait long till it comes out)

Square-Enix speaks out about Releases
Over the past couple of weeks, there has been a lot of rumors about release dates, including 1UP.com reporting a delayed release date of November. Prior contact with Square-Enix advised of no previous US release date being announced. Finally, a confirmation from Square-Enix has been given to check the latest issue of Electronic Gaming Monthly for information on the release. Which is the source that 1UP.com had previously reported. So it looks like our clarification has now come. They advise that no collectors edition or special features have yet to be decided on.

......furthermore;

No information has been announced in regards to a possible collectors or limited edition for the North American release of Final Fantasy VII Advent Children at this time. Yes there is one for the Japanese release, but nothing has been said officially that there will be one or something similar here in North America. There also is no information on any special features, language options or extras announced at this time.

Updated information in regards to Final Fantasy VII Advent Children will be discussed and available on an upcoming issue of Electronic Gaming Monthly. Please stay tuned for those official details.

Unfortunately at this time Final Fantasy VII will not be remade for any current or next generation platform/console. This is not to say that it will never happen, it's just that SQUARE ENIX of Japan is currently focusing on numerous other projects. You can get updated information on our latest & upcoming releases from the "Latest News" portion of our website, www.square-enix.com.

it also talks about the ff7 remake, which, will not happen, but that doesn't mean it will never happen (there're just bussy with their current projects) so for those that await its remake will have to wait a little longer.
